Nintendo of America made significant changes to the Pokemon Snap VC release and it still costed the same as every other N64 game. They're just trying to cash in on the hype and you know it.

I'm curious as to why this game would receive more fanfare on release? It didn't even break 500,000 copies sold worldwide when it was first released.
Mother 1 is already translated by Nintendo. It was just never released due to the death of the NES, and the cost of including all of the packaging.
Get 'em, LiK.they did. You can play it without a SNES console and cart.
The price is fine if they actually had to modify the game in some way for it to be released in the US. Its like when Sin and Punishment was released for $12 because of the minor translations done. If the game is left untouch then the price is not fair. Especially considering how it was a part of the 30¢ anniversary promotion in Japan.

I do love my RGB monitor though...You have to include the price of getting an old school CRT. =P
I thought Iwata said they wouldn't have to make any changes to the content.
You mean $0?You have to include the price of getting an old school CRT. =P
Did they make any changes to the game? I am curious to know if they changed some of the music.
Earlier this week, Nintendo announced plans to finally bring their Super Nintendo classic to the Wii U's Virtual Console. So we asked Nintendo director of product marketing Bill Trinen: was the music an issue?
"Not that I'm aware of," Trinen told Kotaku's Kirk Hamilton during an interview in San Francisco on Wednesday.
"So it'll be the same soundtrack as the original game?" Kirk asked.
"Yeah, I mean, they're taking the original game and putting it on Wii U," Trinen said.
$10? Really?
Amazing marketing Nintendo.
10 bucks for a SNES game, no matter how classic, with no extra localization or anything like that is a robbery.
People are complaining that one of the best SNES games is $10? Really?
you guys know it's going for like $200 on ebay right? fuck i'd pay $60 at this point, $10 is a steal
Using the market price as justification is beyond stupid. Virtual Console games have never followed the market price (or quality for that to matter). It's always the same 5 for NES, 8 for SNES and so on. Nintendo just noticed that there was sort of demand for this game so they included the $2 as a "fuck you" tax.
You would be better off buying the cart anyways. At least you can resell the game after experiencing it and potentially even profit in the process. With Virtual Console you buy the game again for each platform you own and reselling is obviously not an option. It would almost be okay if Nintendo had even sort of clue how to handle the Virtual Console but like they show from time to time again they clearly don't.

I think the $10 price is justified now that we know they retained everything from the old game + are releasing the complete players guide free to everyone.
I didn't ask for any guide at all. Certainly not for a one that apparently costs 25% of the base game price.
Complete with a $9.99 price tag
Give me a 3DS release or give me death!

Will that ever happen?
Are you really bitching for 2 dollars ?I didn't ask for any guide at all. Certainly not for a one that apparently costs 25% of the base game price.
