Just woke up a little while ago so I must have missed this, but reading this post made me go "oh shit" and checked the list immediately. It seems to have been corrected (thanks to anyone involved in fixing it) but after this I'm considering making it so that only I can edit it and people would have to let me know to be put on the list so this doesn't happen again. Just considering it though.
On another note, I added in a new category, since it seems you can add charts or something into the spreadsheet, I'm curious in what each person is gonna use for their first class. I'll see if I can make a pie graph or something out of it once enough people added to the category. So if you signed into the sheet before, please go back in and fill out the new category, I'm curious on GAF's first class choices will be

Think he means that scrolling thing for clicking on chests or something with the right stick, which is a bit slow and you stop while moving it iirc.

Seems like a game with a lot of hours in it, might be nice having a convenient version available to play...so I actually play itGame looks really well suited for it too.
The game's action up-close on the OLED, nice and lag-free screen response, plus the d-pad and savings.
Not going to bother with PS3 personally and not really that upset it's not cross-buy. Barely played PSASBR on PS3.

Same composer. Sakimoto has done all of Vanillaware's games, I believe.
You need an analog stick for item/skill selection.

You'll need Dpad and both sticks for the PS3 version. Left stick to move, Dpad for items (those two can be swapped though), and Right stick for opening chests with your NPC. Sadly dualshock's the only way to go for the console version.

You can play with dpad, but then item selection is moved to analog.
OH yeah, forgot about the right stick stuff. That was clumsy, imo. Should just be able to walk up to stuff.

I think I'll probably end up getting both versions at some point. Once I finish with the elf on vita ill try the dwarf or sorceress on ps3. Gonna be good times.

I wish this was cross-buy. I like being able to play on the train during my daily commute, but I also want the option to play local co-op with friends on a TV.
Too much focus on Sorceress' breast, not enough on Amazon ass, or the manly muscles from the dwarf and fighter.

I will import and I would like the artbook but it's putting the shipping cost up.

Don't know if someone posted it, but despite the Famitsu scores being worthless, the reviewers complained about the following things:
PSV: Since the screen is small, you sometimes lose track of your character.
PS3: Gamepad is much worse than touch controls during instances when you have a cursor on the screen (cooking etc., most likely).
Other than that, they loved it iirc.

Wow, you're right! I've been thinking over where had I heard music so similar to this. I kept coming back to previous VanillaWare titles, but the most similar is indeed Vagrant Story. Unsurprisingly, indeed, Dragon's Crown music (and in fact, all of VanillaWare's previous titles') is by Hitoshi Sakimoto as well:

I placed my preorder before the European version was announced. Still, I wouldn't cancel it even if I could; playing early and getting the artbook, all for 43, is simply too good, plus I want to play with US GAFers. I actually ordered at the same place Akaoni mentioned, it's amazing value for the lot:

I would like an OT without boobs in the title. This is a good game, and naming the thread like this game is some otaku bullshit is doing Kamitani a disservice. I would rather see something referring to Guardian Heroes or D&D.

It is 60fps, but right now the traffic is so heavy on the site that free users are seeing a downgraded stream. You'll have to watch it during a time when they aren't limiting what free users can see.

I agree with this, the game is solid enough that it doesn't need to make desperate jokes in order to gain attention. It's feature list is much more eye-catching than boob jokes, and will actually say something worthwhile about the product...
... but it could also be argued that this is a weakness of the games character designs in the first place; such a joke isn't out of place, for a game that features a design like the sorceress, and her exaggerated official (?)

I totally agree, we need to remember that not everybody is going to want to play this game just because it has comedy size boobs.

In all seriousness, I do think the playable character designs are terrible in general, not just because of Gigantiboobs. I just think its dissapointing because the rest of the art is great, and I'd like to be able to show that to and discuss it with a wider selection of people without the caveat of the atrocious characters. It really does look phenomenal everywhere else.
Looking forward to playing it, either way.
