Does it really need to be linked? I had a Fire Emblem 3DS, but then did a system transfer to an XL and still got the credit once I registered SMT IV. I thought you only needed the system registered + SMT IV registered to get the credit. Once I inputted the CN code for SMT IV I got the notification for the credit right away.

I'm not sure if you can get coins from it but he is eligible for the $30 promo.

It is a great game but the fact that they didn't include the GameBoy color version was very disappointing.

Well, it isn't the GBC 'version' it was just one of the few 'enhanced' games released with Super Gameboy support. Metroid II was another.

GBC hadn't even been released at that point.

But yes, them not adding the option to flip it on has been a bitch of mine since the game launched on the eShop.

Well, you can always unlink your original 3DS if need be, but I assume you could have multiple ones linked to one account, as long as it was one of the family ones.

In case any NA Club Nintendo members were wondering about both the Mario and Donkey Kong poster sets available, I just got them in and man, they are just B-E-A-utiful!!! Nice glossy finish to all of them, but the one that really looks great is the original Donkey Kong gameplay poster, it has a nice matte finish to it everywhere except for sprites such as DK, Mario, Pauline, etc.

If you haven't picked these up, definitely do so!
