I remember back in 2001/2002 or so I was in a maplins and some tech guy had a 1GB stick worth about £99 he used in his job, seemed like so much data back then lol

It's a shame that the hoodie looks like something a tramp sleeps in, if it was just a plain colour with a single blood splat on it somewhere it would have been great, but nope gotta waste money making it look stupid for a CE

Bit off topic, but better here than anywhere else-

Anyone know where the best place to get rid of old dvds/cds is? Games I usually sell individually but for a bulk sale, any ideas? CeX or Music Magpie or somewhere else?

Do you care more about getting rid of them or getting the most money?

Most money is a case of finding all the trade-in sites and balancing out minimum order with getting the most for something which might not be worth the time for you or not.

I've heard some people have payment issues with Music magpie (claiming certain discs are missing and the like).

Yes got a code for 5 euro, that is great but I have to use it before august 31st and only on video games.

But I NEVER buy videogames from bol.com because they are way to expensive :p

I've only tried them once (not for a game) and haven't had the best experience. But yes, I can imagine them being on the expensive side.

The 5 euro is better than "the nothing" you started out with though. ;-)

Can you please confirm again that it's the Day 1 edition? I'm tempted to pick it up but nothing is mentioned about a special edition.

For what it is worth - I ordered the regular edition (neither the picture nor the description showed otherwise) from 2game.com for the same price (including worldwide shipping) and recieved the day 1 edition aswell.

How long does it take for Game to send an eshop code?

Bought OoT 3D. Nothing so far. Thought it would be immediate.

Is there a deal on it?
I wish, but no, sorry. I caved in. Just thought of posting here because it's probably the de-facto euro shopping thread, with higher chances of finding someone with experience on this matter.

1) did you check the website? check your order history
2) did you pay with paypal? there might be delays/issues according to other gaffers who recently bought codes and paid with paypapl.

1) yes, says unshipped.
Got a confirmation email btw (no code though)

2) no, credit card and it went through.

Found a dude that experienced the same, eventually got it canceled. If they do it, just wish it's fast so I can just order from the eshop or something. Shame to pay full retail for download but wtv.

edit: took them around 12 hours but I got the code. Solved. Thanks guys.

Was able to snag Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance for £5 at my local Tesco this morning. Wasn't expecting to find anything since it was mentioned on HDUK last week, but there it was on the shelf, marked at £30. So might be worth checking the shelves just in case.

Does anyone know if there is a way to order a not-available in store item on Blockbusters website? I know the items in my store...

Amazon have the PS3 edition of Tomb Raider (2013) for £14.99. Which according to find-game is its lowest price yet.

Edit: apparently Amazon have had it on sale before at that price, but I think it's still a good deal if you want the PS3 version.

Should had brought it when OoT 3D was on sale at the eShop (£19.99 or so IIRC) or you didn't have the 3DS then?

Nah, I didn't. Well I got Animal Crossing for free on the latest promo so I guess it evens out.

Anyway, really digging the digital convenience. Didn't expect to do so as much. I wonder if retailers that sell eshop codes will ever do sales on those, including the hardcore ones. Don't see many reasons why not to.

GAME did a temporary sale on eShop codes, saving you around a fiver each time. But they soon bumped it up to RRP.

Depends, part of the reason I jumped on the early access to Pikmin was because it was also £5 cheaper than the eshop (though same price as Game's physical version) - best thing to do is just keep an eye on their card prices.

Also good luck finding sale stock in Tesco, most places are likely selling old stock that was left out back for some reason or another. Most stores already cut back their software to basic chart releases + "budget charts"

That said a week after Pikmin 3 came out my store actually got stock of that, it's the ONLY Wii U title we stock right now. I imagine they'll try to make space for Disney Infinity too, but lawd knows how when skylanders generally takes up a large portion of the gaming sections right now.

Hm, AssCreed 3 is going for £14.98 at Zavvi (PS360 & WiiU), are the DLCs in this game worth it to get the Washington Edition instead?

I've only heard not-so-enthused reactions to the DLC. But I have neither played them nor done exhaustive research on them.

AC has never done DLC well so far.

Thanks, I settled for AC3 + DMC HD Collection for £23.71 thanks to the 2 for 25 discount and a 10% code I had flying around.

What does everyone think of this?

Potentially a very good deal but seems a bit dodgy.

a lot of t&cs but getting GTA V for around £15 is too good to pass, it says "This list will remain valid until this offer has ended." so at least they cant burn you there.

picked up wii u shape for £5 and arkham city for £6. plus the £4.97 for V and it'll come to just under £16. fantastic deal if it all works out

Thanks, I wanted to buy it anyway and this is a great price.
I had to look the special edition up, here is a unboxing, seems okay.
Took it as 2 for 25 with Persona 4 Arena.

Metro Last Light for that price is pretty sweet. It's just that I still have Dead Rising 2 and Case Zero to play. I think that's how PS+ subscribers feel like.

26€ at Nuuvem.
