According to my husband's sheet, I'm at 82% catalog... but that's not including streetpass items, art, bugs, fish, and deep diving.

He was paying 50k a gyroid, and each set of 5 he gave a bonus of 250k.

I just bought a 3ds XL now that the US finally got a black one
This game is getting so much love that I'm considering buying it even though I didn't really "get" Animal Crossing on the GC.
Is there any point in playing it, though, if none of my friends play?

I'm using the StreetPass relay trick and I was wondering if I deactivate tags for Animal Crossing, would I keep the houses that are already in the HHA Showroom? I never get around visiting all of them before I have new ones, heh.
And another question: has someone gotten purple tulips yet? If so, what do I need? Last time I tried before losing my town I never got one :/

I tried requesting some items nearly every day for a week, but with no responses.
Then I check some other topics and people sold those items for much cheaper than what I was offering.

I just realized that getting all your dream villagers immediately will ruin my town in the long run; I think I'll get Chrissy next time and only stop Ankha/Coco/Chrissy/Francine from moving. I guess I might try and obtain Mira too.

One of the perks about main street is that it allows a sizable amount of your past villagers to walk around/go in T&T shop/(not sure of museum/able's). If you assemble your dream villagers asap, it will be a lot less appealing when you peruse through the area.

I'm making a bigger list of villagers I want, so when I get a full town of them, when one of them wants to move, (and if I have their picture) I'll replace them with someone else from the list. (Preferably the same personalty type.)
But the octopi and Ankha (when I get her) are staying forever! Mwahaha.

I love all three of the octopi so much, and my trio is finally complete. They will be lifelong residents of my town...
