Wait, do FATE's automatically give me guild seals? Or do I have to activate a quest to earn them from FATE's first? I thought you only earn seals from doing the Levequests or turning in crafted supplies?

Yup, FATEs will give you GC seals so you better put in an effort for a gold badge! And yeah, you get seals from FATEs after you join a GC.

After not even seeing cancer three fights in a row on PS3 I think I'm freaking done with that version except for screwing around, farming and crafting.

I don't suppose there's an alternative to removing the HUD, but keeping the nametags like in 1.0 is there? Best I can manage is cranking my resolution up and shrinking the HUD along with cropping tricks.

Nah I'll just regret it in the end. I set out to play Bard and that's what I'm going to stick with. It's only problematic in this scenario because I want to progress through the main story quest line but I currently can't do so without running the Mines once.

Like most MMOs, it's more a matter of building a network of people than anything. Once you have friends who can be on call to heal, tank, or do whatever role, it's no sweat getting groups together.

I've come up with a theory that this was their way to clear stock of the physical (no one buys physical on PC) and PS3 (terrible graphics, worse controls, less people on screen, all around worst version) versions of the game. Its not like no servers work. Sure a lot of them are locked down, but I saw at least 5 or 6 playable servers for NA. Unless they change all the time. I already have a character on Leviathan. I gave up on Ultros.

Yeah, the game looks and plays pretty good in PS3.

As someone who doesn't own a gaming PC I'm "stuck" with this version but I don't mind since it's perfectly playable.

Fate groups. Lots of fate groups. At level 30, you can go to Costa De Sol and join some groups for the fates there. That will get you to 35+ pretty fast.

-I must have to register it via the website! Attempt square-enix.com. Nope, that's just for registering product codes for their crappy points, not activating licenses.

-Try to log in on the correct website. "You don't have access to this, because you don't have any active characters." What?

-Enter in the code on the XMB Redeem Codes menu, and now I'm apparently downloading the game digitally. Why is there even a disc?

To save you having to download it I guess.

Standard practice for MMORPGs, they're pretty flexible concerning distribution because the game doesn't have value without being logged in/subscribing or whatever.

I'm working well with the Arcanist class(Summoner) on the controller. You really won't have to worry about giving your pet orders until your around level 30 or so, by then you surely would have mastered swapping your hot bars.

As for your pet disappearing, do you mean withdrawing?
