Order of the Twin Adder has a bit of endgame mage gear if I remember right, but not by a significant amount. For leveling gear all three are about the same.

I assume he just left the middle of the hotbar blank. you can turn off the unused hobar parts.
what do you mean shrink? From that pic it seems he set the LB, party, quest, and hotbar 8 as 80% while rest is 100%. the ctrl+home thing to change the size of certain UI aspect.

omg, I tried to figure it out forever and it was right there.
lol no one saw the thread I guess.
looking at the app, it looks really great. I really like that I can search a gear that is a quest reward item, I can see what quest gives that item. xivdb didn't seem to have it (at least at the time when I was searching)
The only thing I can't seem to find is the hunting logs. Maybe I am just looking at the wrong place or something.

The worst is you can see the damn bots in the starting cities, level 1, just standing there with their mouths flapping. Wish I could somehow break the rules and PVP their asses.
Why switch the client language back and forth? You can switch text input regardless of client language settings.ok...this REALLY sucks...

Materia system is confusing me a bit. I levelled my armourer up to level 40 so I could attach Materia to my level 40 gear, but when I try to attach stuff like STR+2 it says it will result in STR+0 because something about the Materia surpassing what the gear is capable of. How am I supposed to know what Materia a piece of gear can hold?

uhm...maybe there I times I prefer to read ENG and other times I prefer to read JPN? Sometimes my eyes are tired and it's easier for me to read ENG. Actions need to be macro'd with whatever language you're logged in as.

You need to be following the story quests.
Aurum Vale, get the level 47 tanking items from there, Spiritbond them and hope for the best, out of 6 items I broke this way, 2 were Battledance III materia.
Also today was a good day, got my AF+1 chest piece:
Got to level 50 BSM and completed the BSM level 50 quest to get my blue weapon, Vulcan, also got 2 HQ BSM AF pieces, would like to thank all the GAF members who made it possible, without them I would probably had to sell a kidney to accomplish all of that.
And to end the night got a Hard Mode Garuda kill.

Whoa did't realize that the app was out. Thanks for the heads up! Got to level 35 with my White Mage today thanks to a fun Costa FATE group with some GAF members. Tomorrow I'll do the Job quest to get Regen and then take on Titan for the first time!

Ifrit, but try to look for a good AK group, AK can be a bit hard when you're new to the instance, but once you get used to it is not that bad of a place.
You only get a nerd point(achievement) for completing it.

Set it to hide unused buttons, and just don't put anything in those middle buttons.
