My first thought before coming into the topic was "please stop", I'm not sure why, it just was. I expect a Tifa costume at some point, Lightning doesn't have anywhere near the goods to pull that off though, lol.
I don't see what other people see, I think it looks awful, her head literally looks stuck on the body and doesn't seem to fit. And like Serah, her legs look just look bad, two overly thin sticks on a body with no real shape to her, I thought Serah just looked bad with her child like body with some tits stuck on in that beachwear costume from the last game.
I'll be buying the game just to finish the story, but I can't wait till we get past this trilogy of games and characters.

This is insulting to both Aerith and Yuna, Lightning is one of the least likeable FF characters created. In this whole gen they created 1 heroine and clung on to her. The announcement event was just embarrassing, the devs were genuinely excited to show us the next chapter in this tedious saga. LR would be interesting if it it started a new spinoff series and had nothing to do with Lightning or XIII. After this I hope they don't let Toriyama and the XIII team ever make a FF game again.

The only time in the entire game she actually smiles. We had to go through 40 hours of annoying and unwarranted bitching just to get to it. Lightning and her sister are worlds apart and it pained me that Square didn't have the good sense to reverse their roles so we at least get to play as the nicer sister for FFXIII, even if she's stupidly naive.

It's the rage of past FF fans that wanted a new mainline FF after 13, but was stuck with two bs sequels because SE wanted to reuse assets to make easy profit. FF8 has a better cast of characters and story compared to FF13.
