The Final Bosman Show

And yet another chance at having a bigger desk is gone forever.

We need get him this

Oh god, oh god, where do I get this Knack tshirt!?!?

.

So, since we're all fans of Kyle's work, I was wondering if anyone has posted this Homeland parody clip before (semi-spoilerish, but Homeland's not what it used to be, so I wouldn't worry about it). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibTWwWy_b7k Also, cudos to Peff for posting this in the Homeland thread.

So why a Homeland parody in the Bosman thread? Well, have a look around 13 seconds into the clip ;)

Did anyone else notice that the envelope read "For a Bigger Desk", but when the girl walks up to him her fingers are covering up some letters so it just reads "For a Bigger D---"?

Not sure if that was intentional, but I got a laugh out of it.

Bosman is amazing. He taught us the way of the donkey butt. He gave us great experiences with his content - and showed us how hard it can be to manage your own band.

Is he even registered here? I really need to stalk him.

In light of the show's ending this week, and for lack of a better place to share this, I'm posting this other bit of genius I just discovered:

Your move, Kyle. :)

I actually legitimately can't think of the last time a countdown actually lived up to my expectations. Ever.

That dance though, was the stuff of legends.

1. He says that people he has talked to who like Titanfall tell him it feels good to move around in the game.
2. He says that this does not interest him, because he mainly plays games for the scenario.
3. He says that Mario has a good scenario because you are a plumber saving a princess, and therefore he has a motivation (note: I am not being reductive. This is actually what he says).
4. He suggests that if the scenario to Mario were changed so that Mario were just in it for the coins, he wouldn't like the game.

I assume he meant that he likes the adventure of single player games, the incentive they give you to play. Some people like single player games, some people like multiplayer sports.

funniest line
"Valve you have ONE potential announcement that is worthy of a countdown clock and you know EXACTLY what it is. So stop it."

Really, the new Xbone controller requires AA batteries? Really?

Really?

You realize the built in battery packs are just rechargeable double A's in a case

At least the 360 ones were. (i think they were NickelCadium)

PS3 does use built in Lithium which is nice except having to tether it if the battery is low instead of hot swapping rechargable batteries.

You guys prefer built in Lithium over hot swappable rechargables?

I do since I can just plug in the controller if it needs some charge. That is what my long ass USB cable is for anyways.

I think the Xbox One guy are going to sell rechargable packs much like they already do with 360

Just another reason why investing in XBOX ONE is going to cost so much more over time over PS4 it seems

Episode was one of his funnier ones, especially with the note cards coming everytime he talked about the Wii U. Probably because he didn't really have much of a concise subject this time to reign him in.

"Gametrailers.com stance on the Wii U is that it is not next-gen. I thought we already talked about this...but okay."
Bosman is really good at playing a defeatist.

now that PS4 controllers can charge when the PS4 is in standby, I think that is a good solution. On PS3 I'd have to tether while playing, and the USB cable is never long enough. Or when I got two controllers I'd juggle them.

I love all of his episodes, but this was the best one in awhile. I wholeheartedly agreed with all of his points, and was DYING at the Wind Waker joke, which sucks considering I'm in a library. The card jokes were amazing, and really shows how GT really is biased against Nintendo. Maybe not biased, but just not on the same playing field as the PS4 and Xbone. A lot of you might agree with that, but I really think the Wii U is a next gen console simply because it was released and manufactured as part of this new gen.

A nice additional "feature" of PS+ autoupdating. Just plug in your DS3 when you're done playing and it charges when your PS3 turns on to download and install updates.

Well, at least its rechargable from the get go this time, no need to buy a rechargeable battery pack accessory right?

And yes, the ps3 solution was way better. I've never had a controller die on me yet, despite one of my 360 recharge packs no longer working, and I would prefer it to hot swapping. Ps3 give you ample warning to plug it in.
