Question:

Are we okay with Flash killing folks? I'd be cool with it, but apparently he's a much lighter character than Ollie.
No way does the Flash kill. Completely against the tone and personality of the character.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Ollie killing less this season as they move him into more of a hero instead of crazy vigilante.

Propably. I just hope they never stop him from killing people completely. This is such a strong part of the character it would seriously undermine the whole show, not to mention being ridiculously contrived.

Ok, yeah, I agree with you.

But Ollie better stay murderous. It endears him to me.

Ollie killing is probably going to be more of a last resort going forward. Quentin puts his body count in season one at 26. No way it ever gets that high again.

I too weep for the lost of chest hair.

Felicity has a giant head and her nose job makes her look perpetually ready to sneeze.

No she doesn't. I just want to try and burn this thread down before the second season starts.

Jimmy Jean-Louis Joins Arrow for Multi-Episode Arc

Last week brought the reveal that Dylan Neal had been cast as DC comics villain Dr. Anthony Ivo in the upcoming season of Arrow. This lead many to believe that we'd be seeing the villain Amazo in the series in some form or another. Well, if you were one of the fans that speculated this, good news: you're right!

CBR has just revealed that Jimmy Jean-Lous, whom you may know as "The Haitian" from Heroes, has been cast in the series as a character called "The Captain." Little is known about the character, though we can confirm he will appear in multiple episodes. Here are the details the Arrow team shared about his character:

"The Captain is a mysterious and deadly associate of Anthony Ivo and has a connection to a mystery of Season 2 called the 'Amazo.'"

Wut. I wonder how they're going to translate Amazo into the show.

Remember that Count Vertigo can fly in comics and can disorient people with his powers, The Royal Flush Gang has immortality and had an Android. The Arrow crew has put a spin on quite a bit of villains. Amazo might be a little advanced robot prototype that people are trying to steal or something.

After the tragedy in the Glades, we must wonder what will Olly become now...something else, yet again?

Perhaps something....better!

The voice over is why it's so funny...

LOL.

I guess Amazo will be a Frankenstein-esque meta human, the first of his kind. And Ollie will end up killing it by the end of the season, paralleling Flash's rise?

Maybe.

CW shows only count the goodlooking people. All the others were bums and uglies. And yes, he will play
Brother Blood

Loool, I thought it was just a lookalike! Didn't think it was actually him!

And if they only count the beautiful people, that number makes sense. Let's ignore the 25000 old and ugly people.

They're introducing superpowers this season, starting with The Flash.
I know, but unless they start throwing more superpowers around, it's just going to be two really fast people fighting. :P

Maybe.

That would work given what they're doing this season.

I had a thought that maybe Amazo is some prosthetic device that gives the user photographic reflexes. He'd end up being someone like Taskmaster, more or less.

Maybe Amazo is a metahuman project that creates tech like you say. The mercs worked for the same people funding the project, the mysterious woman on the other end of the line. Dr Ivo is doing unethical and horrific human testing, and perhaps some of this testing winds up playing a part in Flash's transformation?

Amazo being a Taskmaster-like character was what I thought as well. I know we're getting superpowers this season, but so far, that's only confirmed to be Flash (and maybe Black Canary if she has the Canary Cry) and he's only in one episode. Not exactly a wealth of superpowers for Amazo to draw from. Him just copying the fighting styles of different characters and maybe even Ollie's archery skills who be cool.

They're really going in with the DC characters this season. Excited to see how it all fits together.
