What's the most angry you've ever seen someone at a game?

One time my friend was playing that Frogger remake for the PS1. I don't remember what part it was, but there was something he kept dying on. So after awhile he calmly takes the game out of the system, puts it back in its case, takes the case over to the wall, and while holding it up just begins punching the game until the case cracks. It was hilarious because the entire time he was completely calm about it.
 
My friend from high school is awful at video games, yet they are how he spends most of his free time. Whenever he starts losing he states what he is doing, that it isn't working, and "I DONT KNOW WHY". He has punched holes, torn up consumer electronic boxes, and rage quit thousands of times. Sometimes its fun to make him mad, sometimes not. One time while he was yelling at Gears 3 me and another friend heard the door slam open(yes, slam open) through the mic and his dad proclaim "We dont care!" and then slam shut again, hilarious.

Also, when him, I, and another friend got MK9 and played it for the first time he was doing well the first few rounds. Once I started winning he got angry. He is about 6' 6" and 280 pounds, I am 5' 7" and 155, after one match he just started yelling about how I was cheaply playing and walked towards me to just tower over me into a corner. I looked at my other friend and he had the same look of fear on his face as I and I'm pretty sure we both thought we were going to die in that moment, cant remember how we calmed him down.
 
Didn't see it first hand, but saw the result. Basically, friend got mad at some match and threw the 360 controller so hard on the carpet floor that it bounced up and hit the big flat screen TV his dad got him and flat out broke it.
 
My brother once jumped on my back and tried to garrotte me with a SNES controller after I kept performing Babalities on him in successive rounds in Mortal Kombat II. I ended up throwing us both out of the nearby second story window (which was luckily opened) onto the front lawn resulting in cuts and bruises. Our mother was in a front downstairs room and happened to look up at the moment her two sons flew passed the window.

My mother was the angriest person I have seen resulting from a video game.
 
Hmm, I've broken, like, four Gamecube controllers, a Wiimote, two PS3 controllers, and I got a couple of beat-up arcade sticks too. I really try to take it easy on games now though lol.

Edit: Oh yeah, punched a couple holes in my wall too.

back in the late 90's my older cousin would play FFVII and LoD, and whenever he would get a game over screen he would legitimately punch his TV. It was an old tube TV so no big loss, but it would always scare the shit out of me. Dude has some anger issues
 
Playing MMX8 pissed me off quite a bit, nearly slammed my control on the ground, which is about as worked up as I can possibly get.

One of my friends punched a hole in the door while playing SSB64.

No the guy that was punched is gay. A few months later the same aggressor tried to steal a sweater from another friend of mine at the arcades.
This time I intimidated the guy and he was hiding it in his jacket. A complete scumbag. It happened around 12 years ago.

I love when he goes from screeching to a super deep voice in a second, and when he lightly tosses things around his room in a rage. It's kind of awesome, unfiltered rage.
 
I used to be pretty guilty of this. Was playing Soulcalibur 3 back in the day and got my ass handed to me a few times too many because I suck at fighting games and blind rage took over and I kicked a hole in my wall. I've chilled out considerably and now it's just a thrown controller into a pillow or something.
 
Most of these are pretty damn weak ._.
 
I was somewhere around 10 years old, playing some version of street fighter 2 in an arcade. I got on one of the best rolls I've ever been on in that game, and was trouncing every CPU opponent. I got to M. Bison, and some kid decided he wanted to challenge me.

I beat him at least 10 times in a row, thinking, "Why don't you just let me beat the game so you can play?" Eventually started to feel a little uncomfortable and let him win so I could get out of there.

I get a hundred feet from the arcade, and he hit me in the side of the head from behind. I whirled around, saw him walking away with his back to me, and stood there for a few seconds trying to decide between chasing him down and attempting to kick the shit out of him or not.

After a few seconds of containing my rage, I came to the conclusion that trying to beat him up would only result in more pain for the both of us. The fight was already over, if I was willing to leave it that way. Which I did, and walked away.

Thinking about it, that's actually the first time I ever told anyone about that. I remember trying to hide the fact that I got hit from my mother, by not showing her that side of my face. I was surprised I pulled it off.
 
my friend when i was beating him one handed in virtua fighter 2. we actually got into a small scuffle but were back to being friends the next day.

Also, recently I battled my cousin in SSF4AE and went 25-0 against him. Haven't played him since. Asked him why, he tossed the game out his window after the Beatdown..lol
 
Brother got stuck at the end of Max Payne of all games and when he beat the last part of the game, he just straight up pulled down his pants and rubbed his ass on the TV screen telling Nicole Horn to kiss his ass.

I was at a loss for that one.
 
One of my mates threatened to attack me with a screwdriver after I beat him in CS. He was particularly annoyed because he'd been playing for months whereas I'd just started two weeks earlier (though I did play a ton of Q3).
 
Whenever one of my friends gets pissed at video games, he tears the doors off of their hinges.

None of the doors at his mom's house are on their hinges lol

He breaks a lot of controllers too.

How do you guys build your houses? Try that in Germany and you're in for a surprise visit at the ER.
 
One of my friends was up against some boss on Final Fantasy XIII and she had tried at least 10 times to beat it.
She got really close to defeating it (I think it may have been one of those timed bosses), and either she died or the time ran out.

She just sat there for a second, then screamed at the top of her lungs, threw the controller to the other side of the room, walked over to a treadmill and bashed her head against it repeatedly (quite violently, I think there was bruising) screaming "FUUUCK".

I was laughing so hard but was really scared at the same time....
 
I have seen all sort of crazy stuff while playing games with people that get angry , i also used play for money with others so that also cause some problems .
From arcade cabinets getting destroy , to people getting fights , systems threw out the window along with houses and cars damages .
The worst i ever did was throw the system and the control out the window and then went out side and destroy it some more .
Was really angry when i was younger lol .
 
I got fed up with my friend's constant denial that Kratos in Playstation All-Stars was not overpowered (he used him almost every match), so I went ahead and beat his Kratos using Kratos myself. Then I gloated, and he tried to hit me, then stormed out of the room. We made up later though. #Bromance #GuyLove
 
Me after spending about three hours straight on the "Save Jody" chapter in F-Zero GX on very hard. For those of you who haven't played F-Zero GX, that chapter is only 30 seconds long.

I didn't do anything crazy though. Just had killer anger induced headache for an hour or so.
 
I just did a search on Youtube for angry gamers and holy shit, what is wrong with people? Some of it is fake, and most of it is incoherent screaming and cursing, but the best ones are when they smash their monitors. So stupid.
 
I think I learnt multiple new swear words on not knowing what to do at the end of level 5 on mega drive x-men back in the day

I mean seriously.
 
Hmm... I haven't kept up with the gamer rage scene in a long time. The only answers I have to this are the Cloudsong guy and Croyt's Anger.
 
Gears of War 2 multiplayer on a daily basis. The VENOM people would spout through those headsets.
Yet despite all the rage, I MISS IT SO MUCH. ;_;
 
I once broke my keyboard's supports when trying Super Meat Boy for the first (and last) time.
