What's the most angry you've ever seen someone at a game?

My girlfriend.
She kept saying she was so good at puzzle fighter (street fighter puzzle game thingy).
Then we saw the demo on PSN.
I had never heard or played that game before but destroyed her 4 games in a row.
She was soooo mad.
I slept on the couch that night. (almost...)

My friend's older brother who had just gotten back from basic training twisted my PS2 controller until the screws came shooting out because he kept losing that one Chocobo balloon race from FFX.

I don't know how people aren't sent into a blind rage after watching this kid for more than five seconds, I can't fathom the bad parenting that must have resulted in him.

Seriously. This video personality (I hope) actually made me angry at society.

Dude I used to play WoW with would smash his keyboard after a raid wipe. He went through quite a few. He died of cancer though so I guess its not that funny looking back.

On PES, during a game where I was beating a friend by a few goals, he launched his controller on the floor and crushed it several times with his foot until it died.

My friend used to literally turn into a totally different person when we played League of Legends with him. Seriously one of of the nicest guys and then he just turns into the biggest dick or used to when he plays LoL. He's not like that anymore though, fortunately. He's learned to calm down. Never seen him get like that over any game though.

LoL and DOTA can have this effect. It comes out of nowhere.

I had a similar situation in WoW, where after falling into a raid leader position I went from somewhat enjoying the game to barking out commands and strategizing the shit out of everything. The minute I realized what I had done, I closed the game and cancelled my subscription.

Snapped a SixAxis pad after a laggy game of Fifa 11, I was raging, i'd thrown it prior to snapping it, but it hit the front of my sofa, bounced back across me and I caught it in the air and snapped that mother in half.

in hindsight, what an idiot.

I had a friend that used to slam/throw his controller against the floor and start yelling (loud) at the game he was playing whenever he got mad and his mom would tell him to shut up and stop it, that is about the most angry I've seen somebody get at a game but it was on multiple occasions too.

If I get frustrated at a game the worst I will do is curse a few times to myself, I'm mostly cool-headed I would like to think lol.

-Tetsuo- on here was my roommate for a while. He was playing through Vagrant Story, and his PS2 deleted his save game for some reason.

Other than that, my fiancee scares me when Guild Wars 2 doesn't go her way.

EDIT: Actually, I got pretty pissed at Dark Souls. I can't even remember the situation, but I twisted my Sixaxis in half. Literally, twisted it. Shattered the plastic.

I was playing MvC3 with my older brother. I was beating him so he took the arcade stick I was playing on and threw it against the wall. I wasn't mad because it wasn't my arcade stick, it was my younger brother's arcade stick.

At the end of Sonic Adventure, I kept trying to defeat the final boss over and over and over and over and over... at some point I let out a rage scream and twisted my controller until I heard the plastic starting to crack. That calmed me down and finally I beat that fucking boss.

I haven't seen anything too bad yet. My brother was playing Smackdown VS Raw on PS2 and was losing on story mode. He lost and threw the remote down, and the PS2 controller got a little out of place. Now when you shake the PS2 controller you can hear the insides of it moving around.

I'm so glad it didn't break.

As for gamers rage, I have only seen the typical stuff, throwing controller, cussing, walking out angry or just refusing to every play again.

But on the opposite side I have seen a gamers love. When I was in elementry school and I had Street Fighter II Championship edition my friend had LICKED my TV when he saw Chun Li for the first time. That memory still disturbs me and I am glad I don't have that TV anymore, lol.

My brother used to play against my friend in Tekken 3 back in the day and get beat up. He would get mad and say "Man gimme my game, I'm going home." He'd take the game out the console while running and go home with it.

after playing Street Fighter Alpha 3 my brother and I used to fight for real, man that game really made me learn how to defend myself (my brother is 10 years older).

Oh yeah forgot about dark souls. I kinda broke my r1 from squeezing it too hard when I got killed by these two archers while crossing a kinda plank looking thing(can't remember where it was) had to open up the controller and repair it.

The fuck?

I was playing EverQuest on Rallos Zek, a PvP item drop server

Some nice person gave me an epaulets item with +Wis, which was nice for my cleric

Someone else killed me and took the epaulets

I punched a hole in the wall

I was like 17

Back in the days my friend's older brother used to want to beat us both up when we wiped him on Streetfighter Alpha. He used to want to kick our asses for beating him and then threatened us if we wouldn't rematch straight away!

Those were the days.....

Playing the original Unreal Tournament with co-workers. It was the only game I played for a year so I was uber-good. The five of them couldn't take me down. Suddenly one of them took his mouse and whipped it across the room, slammed his hands on the desk and yelled out son of a b%^$# really loud. He just wasn't expecting to get his butt handed to him like that, because he was a major PC gamer himself.

I just said to him "relax dude, everyone hates playing with me online too. I will tone it down a bit."

I don't really get angry when I'm playing, but I did punch a pillow once, after dying on the final boss during my hardcore run of Dead Space 2.

I once beat a friend in a 20-minute fight in Melee. Because we were playing on my save file I ended up getting a shitload of coins at the end, so he shut the Gamecube off before it could auto save.

I chocked the shit out of him.

I was a major controller thrower in the SNES days (I was also a child though). The problem was that the SNES was in a small room where I sat very close to the TV, and obviously the controllers were wired. So instead of throwing the controller it was more like bouncing it off something and hoping it wouldn't fly back at me. Same goes for N64, I must admit. Once wireless controllers were the norm I'd grown up some and the lack of a cable made it seem more dangerous and destructive to throw it. Now if I get pissed I'll usually just give the controller a bounce on the couch (lightly, not so that it goes flying across the room afterwards).

I do get the occasional FIFA rage though. Every X games of FIFA, you'll get one where you utterly dominate but somehow can't score thanks to a ton of unreal saves and hit posts. I'll sometimes give my mattress a hearty slam or two if that happens.

One of my high school friends slammed one of my controllers in the floor so loud that he woke up my mom. I think he failed at some Soul Calibur II challenge for like the 100th time. He also started to curse a lot so my mom sent him home. :D

As for me; I failed at the "thunder challenge" in Final Fantasy X after many, many tries so I finally got so tired of it all that I ripped the official game guide in half and threw it out the window. :D
