Use the d-pad to walk
YeahSo it's the stick and you're on skates and the d-pad is for walking? I'll try that.
Yeah
Circle Pad= Skating
D-Pad= Walking
D-Pad+B=Running
Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get the game. :/
Haha thanks.Wait what. Someone without the game just explained me how stuff works, you're too good![]()
Quick question, since I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere: do you have to capture Xerneas/Yveltal to proceed in the game like with Reshiram/Zekrom in Black and White? Or can you capture them at your leisure? That'll affect whether I try to get a Pokémon with Synchronize during the story or just come back later with one.

So I just clocked this game. Wow!
Other than the Exp. Share KILLING the need to grind experience I really enjoyed it.
My team as of now is:
Delphox - Level 79
Blastoise - Level 68
Haxorus - Level 68
Pidgeot - Level 66
Lucario - Level 65
Absol - Level 65
With Delphox being the active Pokémon 90-95% of the time you can see the sort of experience spread that the Exp. Share gives.
Does anyone know how to enter the boutique in the Paris-esque city by the way? I figured when I became the Champion I would be allowed in but I guess maybe I have to grind around Coffee shops / Cafés to increase my reputation in the city before they let me enter?
It's in the process of the game like in Black and White.

Holy shit, that's a beast time in only 17 hours. When do you get the Exp. share btw?
Eh, I hope they're easy to capture as well then. Oh well, I guess I'll try to find a Synchronize 'mon before I get to that point!
One day knock-out? LOL

What happened for me:
Flamethrower
Burned
Ultra Ball
No catch
Hurt by burn
Ultra Ball
Caught.
Dude, you have a Sylveon in your GAF avatar.Eh, I hope they're easy to capture as well then. Oh well, I guess I'll try to find a Synchronize 'mon before I get to that point!
That's good! But at the same time, I feel like the trend of mandatory legendary captures is cheapening the box legendaries a bit by making the actual stakes so low... Still beats a drawn-out battle though I guess. Not that I have much to complain about, since I haven't even played the game yet!
Something I recently found out is that the more you change hairstyles either for yourself or your Furfrou, more options will open up.
Can't wait to see the Delphox! :0Shiny Fennekin...

That pretty much answers your question on Synchronize. He's gonna have it.
Unless you'd rather have Cute Charm instead.
You are able to Save before the encounter if that makes any difference - or at least before the last trainer of the four you have to beat before fighting the legendary. I've never found legendaries to be particularly difficult to catch - other than one Mewtwo on my friend's Red version back in 1999 that we spent about 45 minutes catching with Ultra Balls.

Do you think the difficulty curve is built around having EXP Share or did it make the game really easy? I've already decided to turn it off, but I'm worried I might be under-leveled by the end of the game.Other than the Exp. Share KILLING the need to grind experience I really enjoyed it.
Elite Four rematches? Is there a finite source of money in Pokemon games? I always figured that once you run out of Poketrainers to fight you would no longer be able to get money in the game, but I am probably missing something?

Yeah, that was my mistake. Sylveon's hidden ability is Synchronize.... I thought it did have Cute Charm.

I remember thinking this when I was a kid playing Blue. I started going around hitting stuff with payday, lol. (Like they said, Elite 4 over and over.)Is there a finite source of money in Pokemon games? Yeah, that was my mistake. Sylveon's hidden ability is Synchronize.
You'd need to capture an Eevee in a horde battle or find one in the Friend Safari with the ability already in order to get a Sylveon with Synchronize.
So your other options are Gardevoir, Alakazam, Espeon and Umbreon.
Grind the Elite Four. Amulet Coin gives double gold from trainers too and works on them.
You can rematch some trainers, most commonly the Elite 4.Is there a finite source of money in Pokemon games? I always figured that once you run out of Poketrainers to fight you would no longer be able to get money in the game, but I am probably missing something?
Odd and corny question, but did you feel like you made your ultimate team on your journey? Any surprises? Or are your main slots still open for Pokemon to find in post-game.
Well that's just poopie. :/ I guess that explains why the E4's levels are so high.I would say that the game semi-compensates. The water trainer of the Elite Four destroyed my team basically.

I seriously didn't want to use it. FUCK.
