So, I read the Legendary Birds apparently flee before you have a chance to do anything...I'm wondering, has anyone tried Mega Evolving first before that? Maybe that's how they'll stay.

articuno just showed up before mewtwo could mega evo and fled lol.

I hope for gen 7 they focus on unused/rarely used type combinations for pokemon (it numbers in the 50s).

Make a geyser pokemon (fire/water).
A poisonous electric eel (electric/poison)
A wyvern which uses volcanic rock as a shell (Think Agnaktor from Monster Hunter. Dragon/Rock)

So, can I just go into the GTS as soon as I get to it (where's it at?) and ask for a Bergmite? Want to use one but don't want to wait to catch it so late. Or is it caught late? It's near the end of the Dex so I'd assume so.

Also, does anyone know why the Bug Catcher trainer class seems to have been completely dropped from the games entirely? Not in Gen V or VI

A regional thing? Catching bugs as a hobby is sort of a Japanese thing I guess, don't really hear about that in U.S. or France.

But Alder in Gen V is the ultimate Bug Catcher though turned Champion, lol.

No Gen V Pokemon pisses me off.

I guess it's too soon or something, but there were plenty with more potential. I think Vanilluxe and Klinklang having Megas that switched up their sort of plain, "more heads!" evolution would be well-received.

This seems to be the most newcomer friendly Pokemon ever... a lot of the major mechanics seem to have been streamlined so someone coast through the entire game.

This is frightening when the first person I watched catch Yvetal got it on their first try too.

catch rate is easier overall u could probably catch that at full health using 3 balls lol.

Heracross and Scizor are up there with my favorite 'mons, but I'm not really feeling the Megas. They're still cool, it's just that both are steps down, visually. Scizor's arms and legs are pretty bad, and Heracross's arms and sort of it's face aren't very cool. Glad to have those guys exist though.

Houndoom, Gengar, and Alakazam all look great though.

I have a question about mega's, not sure if i've seen it answered or not... Can you have a full party of 6 Pokemon holding mega stones? I know you can only have one Mega Pokemon out at a time during a battle, just not sure whether the game lets you have six different Pokemon on a team, all holding mega stones.
