there's still Hawaii! :lol
Shouldn't they be on the US servers though? I think those are updated at 0:00 EST.

Real talk: Do we abandon this thread for the OT in a couple hours when it launches? I think 0:00 EST is the latest timezone that the games release in. What's the protocol here?

Those are chainsaws? Looked more like angry clamps!
Why am I not surprised that every single Pokémon on the trademark list except Jynx has been given a Mega Evolution? Game Freak can go fuck themselves. Scizor is already one of the most broken Pokémon in the metagame.
Really?! :0Serebii found Mega Jynx actually.
He died when he saw it. Serebii confirmed.

It's pretty comparable to any other boss fight in a linear game TBH. All this does is narrow the margin of challenge between what it's like to catch any old Pokemon and a legendary, which at least requisites some longer management of resources/Pokemon, which also serves as preparation for the Elite Four later on.It makes sense when the legendary is required to be caught/beaten in order to progress through the story.

Cool, thanks.Yes you can.
What if they're nipple clamps?
Don't you dare play with my emotions like that. I swear to God I'm going to start hyperventilating and have a nervous breakdown if Mega Jynx doesn't get revealed by tomorrow morning.
You can't name a Pokemon "Shazam".
*throws laptop out window*

I understand making them a bit easier, but I also feel like you at least need to present the battle/experience so that it's scaled to the reward you get, or else everything is a pushover and suddenly it loses impact/gravity even within the context of the story.
Gonna watch porn for the next hour and a half until the game is available for download.
EDIT: Well that didn't last very long =/
Mega ManectricNo stat spreads for Mega Banette, Pinsir, Heracross, Houdoom and Manectric?

I feel the exact opposite. You HAVE to catch this during the story, and it's a pivotal moment. So make it pivotal. It doesn't need to be ridiculously hard to catch, but at least put a challenge behind it. Tell the player to stock up on Ultra balls even via an NPC, if they haven't played previous games before or don't understand the need for you to be prepared item-wise. It's a learning experience for the player for the E4 gauntlet and the climax of the game for some. Like I said, I understand it being easier than before, just not this easy necessarily.I get what you're saying, but this isn't exactly post-game stuff here. If catching the cover legendary was done post-E4, then I would totally understand the decision to make it easy to catch. But if it's part of the story, then the challenge should be brought down for capture.
If it's like the past couple games though, then you could always KO it and catch it at a later time.

Post-E4 Legendaries should be harder. It's post-game content so it should come with even greater challenge (roaming legendary trios are an example of this philosophy), as it's only there to reward people who stick with a game that long and seek out extra challenges beyond merely beating the game.
