Wasn't on GAF the day this happened but I was doing my usual wonder trade routine, meaning I was catching any pokemon I came across and then shooting it off into the void if it was a double hoping I'd get something cool in return.....and something cool I did get. Don't remember what I sent (I was walking through reflection cave so something from in there) and as per the usual, I was expecting a weedle in return for my time and effort. Instead, what graces my presence is none other than a japanese Xerneas (and even more in luck since I'm playing Y). Now, I can't say if this was a mistake, someone being super generous, or a fellow about to delete his game going through the trouble of at least spreading out any legendaries he had gotten but I couldn't help but notice that he had used his master ball to catch said Xerneas so I'm inclined to think this was a mistake of some sort.

Also I have male/female Tyrunts now, not really sure how to do IV/EV breeding but I can make tyrunt eggs for people i they are interested.

Mega Evolution is awesome, but what does it actually do?

Yup, it raises stats and can also change a Pokemon's type, depending on the Pokemon.

It's basically like any other evolution, except temporary. The only reason not to do it is if you have more than one Mega Evolvable Pokemon in your party. You can only use one Mega Evolution per battle.

Raises stats, changes type (for some) and each Mega usually has their own separate ability.

Although you can only Mega Evolve a single Pokemon once per fight, so if you got more than one, choose carefully.

Well, you can only mega evolve once per battle across all of your mons and once your guy is mega evolved, switching him out ends said evolution and your one and only mega. Against the computer? I don't see any issue not caring but you can see how a timely mega evolution would be a smart play against another person.

I have to say I'm guilty of this. I'm not currently looking for any other trades, so why not put up a semi-rare Pokémon on the off-chance someone would trade a legendary for it?

I'm going to work on it and get some Pokémon that might actually be worth trading, but for now I have nothing to lose. You can filter out people who are requesting legendaries now, anyway.

I have some Charmanders with Solar Power and a Modest nature for anyone interested. I've accumulated a few as I'm trying to breed a Shiny. I also have some Modest females, but they only know Blaze.

I'm not particularly picky as they're more of a giveaway, but if you had an Eevee with Anticipation or a Froakie with Protean, that'd be pretty neat. Would save me the hassle of trying to find them myself.

I can breed a Protean Froakie for you if you want, I'd love a Solar Power Charnander!

No it doesn't. The evolution lasts until the pokemon faints.

I think Serebii might've mixed up Teddiursa Horde encounters in Victory Road with Geodude.
They don't have Geodude listed at all for Victory Road, but those are the majority of Hordes I've encountered, but I've never seen a Teddiursa.

Hey I need a bit help with breeding. I have a modest Eevee with Hidden Ability and 31 IVs on Sp. Atk and Defense and a Ditto with 31 IVs on Speed and Sp. Def. What items should I give them to hold while breeding? I need to make an Modest Eevee with the Hidden Ability and 31 IVs on Sp.Atk, Sp.Def, Speed if not all of them.

Also, will the IV Judge tell me if it has 31 IVs on the stats I want?

They filter it so if any names are obscene in any supported language they filter it out.(the first four letters of spice can be used as a slur.)
