I was planning on using my Master Ball but I figured I'd just give it a try and he went into my second Dusk Ball. He didn't even have a status ailment and his HP was red but not 1. I didn't have Capture power on, either. Zygarde was just as easy but I had capture power on that time.
It was pretty surprising. I have all of the legendaries now and still have my master ball.

Me too. I was considering catching a female Bidoof with it, and then breeding millions of Bidoofs in Masterballs, then spreading them out all over the Wonder Trade. But I'm not sure people would find it as amusing as I would. So it's still there.. waiting in my inventory.. collecting dust.

Apparently Master Balls don't pass down that way. Makes sense.
lol, forgot o-powers even existed.Quick balls by themself were pretty ineffective.That's what Capture Power and first turn Quick Balls are for.
Well, lucky you. Took 25 Ultra balls for me. When you take into account all the ones I used before some accidental fainting (when trying to get him back down after recover), adds up to around 60.
Apparently Master Balls don't pass down that way. Makes sense.

I have to keep adding people for safari or some nice person to trade me some special ability pokemon.
I think the IVs are determined when you get the egg, but you won't know them until they're hatched of course.

Welcome to my world. I just can't use Pokemon I dislike, for whatever reason. Prevents me from hopping on the Aegislash bandwagon.
When breeding, the female will pass their Poke Ball skin to the child. However, if Ditto is being used to substitute a female, the child will simply have a regular Poke Ball.
I'm going to use Mega Pinsir forever because Mega Pinsir is awesome.

Actually, it just doubles the number of EVs your Pokemon earn, and it's not super important if you're not paying attention to EVs anyway. Still, it's not a bad idea to infect a throwaway Pokemon and stick it in a box so you can continue to infect more Pokemon should the desire to EV train the obsessive nerd way ever arise.

I know Pokerus was relevant for older games, but with the inclusion of Super Training in XY, is it really that important? Or does it also affect Super Training?

It is important for Horde encounters. People underestimate how much EV training you can get out of a macho brace+pokerus pokemon doing Hordes (or doing Horde battles, in fact, since 5 EV in less than 10 seconds is something).
You also need all of the other O-Powers.

Apparently EV training with hordes is much, much faster and I think I read it also stops counting after 252 EVs like in Super Training so you don't have to keep track of them anymore. Having Pokerus would make that even faster.
I like that we have more options. This game is all about options (except male trainer clothes :/)
Yup, tried it again and it goes through substitute, YAY!
Completely forgot about Horde battles. Makes sense then.
Actually, any sound-based moves hit through Substitutes, like Bug Buzz or Hyper Voice.
Darn it.
Restaurant Le Wow with Amulet Coin and Prize Money Power Level 3 is incredible.

Horde EV training is 20x faster than Super Training even without Pokerus.
Super Training is mostly for watching your EV progress or if you haven't unlocked post-game yet.

This happened before X/Y? Because I use Venomoth with Bug Buzz a lot and I don't remember this happening in B/W.
