The graphics look good, so does the atmosphere. The game gives me good vibes. I'm expecting a lot from this game, hope it can deliver.

Of course. To be fair there are times where a lot of shit is going down particle wise and the game still holds up, but there is no dynamic destruction and only limited AI obviously. At the same time we also don't know how open The Order is really going to be.
But it looks very impressive nonetheless. A big step up for the shooter genre coming from this ugly gen.

EDIT: Played Beyond yet? You should if you liked HR despite the reviews.

We can only hope there is more to it than that. Although, to be fair, I wouldn't mind if it was just a straight up third-person shooter as I really dig that. But it does cry out for something a little more... cerebral.

Yeah. After playing Beyond I don't doubt QD anymore when they said that Dark Sorcerer is literally the Beyond engine ported to PS4 and their PS4 game would look much more impressive. 4 months later and after seeing Killzone and The Order I believe it. They will surpass Dark Sorcerer and whatever it is they are making is going to look mindblowing. Especially if the sci-fi rumours are turning out to be true.
 
Assure me that there will be some real tense and scary moments in the game, and I'll be super happy. It would be great if they interspersed story and wide-linear exploration areas mixed among the action, like in TLOU.

I was sold on the premise since they started putting out info, but seeing the screens is something else. Completely nailed the atmosphere and it looks gorgeous.
 
Game looks amazing. Hope the animations are just as impressive. Then I can call it the best looking game.

We already know that there will be slower moment for investigation and exploration. I think people are to hung up with gears of War comparison. It's an action game, so combat is definitely gonna be there. And with the time period and premise of the story, the combat can only be either hack and slash melee focused, or guns focused. Saying they're gears of War like just from screenshots is way too hasty, the screenshots so far don't really tell us what kind of shooter it is. How's the pacing of the game or the level design. Will the game be all out shooting all the way ala gears or will it be slower paced game like old resident evil 4 or the last of us, or maybe like the first dead space. Will the level design be very linear or if it has some exploration, hub world, etc.

Will there be puzzles? The screenshots with Isabeu kneeling in front of corpse looks like it's during an investigation probably. Will that have its own puzzle solving gameplay mechanic or just scripted dialogue cutscene

We still know little about the game to label it gear of war clone. The only reason people mention that is because 4 character and people immediately thought gears even though RAD mention that the game is single player so far.
 
It looks so good, lose some of that chromatic abomination aberration and it will be perfect.

I would say best looking cloth fabric EVER in a game.

Also, something crazy is that the character models in the screenshots look EXACTLY like the character renders. I mean, EXACTLY. Looks so good.

Agreed. The Order looks visually spectacular. However, I feel this game can only really be appreciated in motion. Post-processing effects don't lend too well in stills!

Except we now have the high res shots and it looks amazing. Design, art, tech. It all looks stunning. Can't wait to see it in motion. Weird how game informer, they guys who showed these images first, has such shit quality versions.

Depends on when you came into the thread. The old photos that were put up from the GI website were horrible quality and gave everyone a bad first impression. The thread has been since updated with these pics from Gamersyde which are much better quality.

I don't really know how you can't appreciate this in stills even. I'm struggling to think of a game with this type of visuals that looks better. From that short video clip last week I thought it looked less rich and saturated in detail than TLOU, now that makes me sound like an idiot.

It's even more insane that RAD is basically a small team, I had no idea they'd be able of producing something like this.
 
Just a thought but with Whitechapel being so prominent a setting and 1886 being 2 years away from the serial murders, what if Jack The Ripper was explained in this game as a werewolf or some kind of human/monster hybrid and The Order had to take him/it down?

Just a thought..
 
Hot damn at those screens! Best looking next gen game by a wide margin.

And to think, RaD isn't even a top tier dev. My mind melts at the thought of what ND are going to pull off in this gen.
