We know Aizen´s reason, we just don´t know Juha´s reason yet.

Its the second time he's done it. He fucked with them in stealing their bankai and then left them alive, and then let all his subordinates fight with a handicap for no apparent reason. Even if we assume he did it just to troll them, its a stupid plan because we already know its not going to work and he and all of his subordinates will just die as a result of it.

Bleach
Wait, why did As Nodt (The Fear) lose Byakuya's bankai? The sternritter lost their bankais because the original captains took that hollow pill, but Byakuya is no where around to take it. And considering Ichigo just called, it seems like Urahara hasn't been in contact with him for a while.

There is a 1000 years animosity between the quincy and shinigami. If you Remember what Naak Le Vaar said, he said that all of the shinigamis action are within his calculations so he must has a master plan it´s not obvious yet. He did kill Yamamoto and left SS in ruins after all.

I would say that Byakuya has returned to the Sereitei, and he will show up any minute now. Either that or Urahara teleported the pill to him.

Sure, except its a foregone conclusion that not killing everyone else is the downfall of his plan because they're all going to come back stronger than he expected and kill them. The difference between Aizen's trolling and Ywach's is that I don't recall Aizen actually losing on account of wanting to do dumb trolling.

I hope Jucha Bach busts out the áccént rângèrs.

"Who said our letters were 7-bit ASCII?"

That's Shonen for you :D

It's still shit. And it wasn't as bad back then. Talk No Jutsu with Gaara worked for a reason. Talk No Jutsu with Pain is horrible in comparison, for example.

I actually thought it was set up pretty well. Nagato went ahead with his plan because he saw no other way. He believed that the burden of past experiences hindered any form of lasting peace, and therefore saw brute force as the only option to achieve his goal. He went down the path filled with violence and murder, but it clearly took a toll on him. His mental health detoriated over the years, and he clearly developed some kind of personality disorder. Signs of self-loathing are also clearly there, both through the obvious eating-disorder and the self-inflicted injuries.

When Nagato headed towards Konoha he knew that Naruto was the only thing that stood between him and a plan that necessitated mass-murder and the brutal extermination of entire countries. He clearly had to assure himself that it was no other way, that his plan was the only option. That is why he did everything in his power to anger Naruto. He killed his mentor, leveled the village, and brutally "murdered" his "girlfriend" right in front of him. But Naruto was willing to let the past go, and that decision tipped the scales. One small glimpse of hope offered Nagato a way out, and he took it.

Naruto
I enjoyed the last pages of this chapter. Obito is becoming desperate and I look forward to his inevitable breakdown.

Bleach
I fail to see the point in Bach's strategy, but Kubo might still suprise me. Otherwise this chapter felt like it was just going through the motions. Even though the Karakura War Arc was pretty similar, it still had Aizen making an appearance from time to time, and Bach has nothing on Aizen.

There probably isn't. He's like those dudes in Captain Planet who wanted to pollute the earth for the sake of polluting the earth.

Shark & Dolphin Rendezvous [end]

Rin's reaction alone made it worth it, nervous and etc too made it fun even if no progress was made.

Yotsuya-san really dragged things out and only going but so far really made the chapter long but really worthwhile, well essentially for the scene alone and then how everyone saw how he changed the next at work. With such a powerful scent, it seemed to be clear how amazing the final pages would be. Good chapter.

Eh, to me it looks like Kubo and Oda just have a contest to see who can come up with the silliest names.

One Piece's names are silly but they're usually short, pronouncable and have something to do with the character in question. And when that's not true it's always based on a real life pirate.

The problem with Bleach's isn't that they're silly. It's that they are also overly long, nigh unpronounceable and have little to no connection with the character in question. Kubo just picks vowel sounds at random and throws them together into what he thinks an english word looks like. Honestly, at this point, I'd prefer if he would just pick english words out of a dictionary. At least then they'd be pronounceable.

I actually think he'd get better names just picking GAF usernames at random.

Complaining about TNJ from a storyline perspective makes no sense because it literally is the central theme of the manga. The only worse thing is complaining that the new generation doesn't surpass the old strictly in fighting ability (even though that's just a thing Kakashi and Guy say, not some kind of central theme).

It's not a central theme. It's an overused means to resolve a storyline. Yeah Zabuza was converted. And it was touching.

The first time.

Not to mention that as the series got older every villain's horrible backstory became progressively more insane. Getting someone to admit that they cared about one person, fine. Saying your years fighting at war was nothing compared to a book. Uhh...

Actually, solving the hatred between nations without fighting is like the central theme of the series. They've been talking about it for like a decade and every villain decides Naruto is Ninja Jesus here to save us all.

Just finished part 4 of Jojo, it was awesome.

Lot of filler but I loved it. Can't decide if part 2 or 4 is my favourite part right now.

Yoshikage = best villain.

Most of my entertainment expenses are devoted to just manga.
I mean, spend 70€ for just 1 game, or spend 70€ to get between 12 and 16 volumes of manga?! Manga all day!

For a practical example, this month I spent 308€ on manga (though, given that a part is from Amazon, and Amazon only charges after shipping and some stuff hasn't shipped yet, I should probably say that I ordered 308€ worth of manga), and that translated to 61 volumes of stuff. If I were to buy new console games like Beyond and The Last of US with that money, I could only get like 4 or 5, 6 if I were lucky and they were all priced like D2.
So in the end, I shifted my budget to be spent mostly on manga when it comes to entertainment and very little for any other type of entertainment.
I do need to reign in my spending for manga though.
Fair reasoning indeed.

Most of my entertainment expenses are spent at bars.

Most of mine are spent on travel, alcohol/clubs/bars, games, and music related things (guitars, headphones, etc.).

Hahahaha. Big One is a nice touch.

Who do I have to challenge to get to "A."

But at least using NeoGAF usernames just sounds like everyone has a Metal Gear Solid codename instead of incomprehensible syllables.

So, it turns out Weekly Shonen Jump is available in the UK in the form of an Android app. So I bought an issue.

dafaq.

I get the sense that I have a fair amount of catching up to do. I can vaguely follow what's going on in Nisekoi and Cross Manage was a one shot (that hinged on you knowing who all these characters are), and Dragon Ball is Dragon Ball. Everything else? Pass.

Perhaps its time for kodansha to entertain dialogue about nanatsu no taizai anime...and of course congrats to continued presence of Area ni Kishi, Ace of Diamond, Kurobas, Haikyuu!! For sports.

Also, 55k seems low for being anime worthy, like Mushibugyo was... (Noragami)
