Im away at work for 3 days, then im gonna go stay in my home town for 3 days then im back away at work for 5.

Im gonna try go "no videogames" for that entire time.

Looks like an unboxing of the Europe PS4 for anyone interested, surprised to see it looks pretty much the same as the USA box, it feels that the US usually gets thinner boxes than Europe.

The more interesting thing I found however, is the US got 2 weeks of PS Plus, $10 PSN and a trial for music/video unlimited (I think), however in the Europe unboxing, there was no mention of this and I couldn't see the voucher card leaflet that was seen in the US box, guess this means Europe wont be getting the $10 PSN/Free trial of Video/Music unlimited?

I know we're getting 14 days PS Plus as it says on the box, but I couldn't even see anything relating to that. I can only presume it gives 14 days PS Plus to a new account or something?

It think there are 300+ pre-orders made at my local GAME (Bergen, Norway)
I didn't pre-order until late August, so I'm probably screwed.. Gotta go talk to them next week to see if there's any point in showing up at the midnight launch at all.
 
Had to pay for my KZ bundle in full to guarantee it on launch day which was a bit upsetting but hey, as long as it gets here.

I'm not terribly concerned over hardware failures but I am aware that it's riskier to purchase a console day one than to wait for it to be refined. With that said however, all Sony consoles I've bought early on never gave me any problems so I'm more inclined to believe the PS4 won't also, unless I'm unlucky.
 
You guys all know it's going to be UK Mail delivering for Amazon UK. We're all going to come home from work and see the aftermath of them throwing the PS4 through the door window.

My order of preference for Amazon deliveries, DPD, Royal Mail, Parcelforce, CitySprint, Yodel, Amazon Logistics, City Link....Everyone else. Yes Yodel, they are pretty great where I live.

I just don't want it to be Hermes. Last time I had an expensive parcel from Amazon they used Hermes. FUCK HERMES.

Every time we've had something come via UK Mail they haevn't even bothered knocking. Just putting the "sorry, we tried to deliver this to you and you weren't in" slips through the door and running off before you can chase them down.

DPD have always been fantastic for me though, I really do hope Amazon use them for the PS4.
 
Time was flying for me until the US launch happened a few days before my current holiday. Now time is dragging and my hype is reaching unrealistic levels. On the plus side, the broken bf4 servers are helping me calm down.
 
Just asked for AC IV as a birthday gift (my birthday is 3 days after the UK launch) so now on or around launch I have:

PS4
Camera & extra DS4 (got these fairly cheap from Gamestop UK)
NBA 2K14
Resogun (free)
Contrast (free)
Escape Plan (free)
NFS Rivals
AC IV Black Flag Skull Edition (was the same price as the normal edition for some reason, Tesco if anyone was wondering where from)

May possibly get FIFA too, but I haven't decided yet. Can't wait for the 29th!
 
The PS4 went down from 990$ to 795$ in my country in less than 24 hours... hope it goes down fast or I will have to wait till Dec,13 which is the official FAR away release date :(

Not for me. Friday is the only day me or anyone else is going to be in during the day.

Thursday despatch for a Friday delivery I'm hoping for. And for the delivery to be early in the morning, obvs..
