The 29th can't come quickly enough

Got the PS4 coming with Killzone, Knack and Need for Speed from Shopto

Had COD since the 5th, it's taunting me - lol
 
My flatmate works for Xtravision, a national games and dvd rentals company, and he was attending the mandatory meeting they have at this time of the year in preparation for the winter season. He saw they were demonstrating the PS4 with some racing game, went up and played a lap, then left. Later, people were coming up to him congratulating him, and he had no idea what for. Turns out there was a competition to win a PS4, that he hadn't even known of, and the best lap had been his.

So he gets a free PS4 on the day of launch. Not too shabby, eh?
 
Got a Killzone Megapack pre ordered here.

Not too worried about hardware failure. I'm sure Tearaway and Mario 3D World will keep me going if I have a duffer.

No, they don't. But they do charge you for import fees so you don't have to worry about issues with the carrier. And if it slip through customs, you get the money back.

I didn't order from Shopto until the end of September. Not bothered about the mega bundle.

Guaranteed for day 1 so happy :D
 
Starting to regret cancelling my pre-order, even with the launch issues. Has there been any indication of what the stock will be like in the UK?

Couldn't really find much apart from Amazon saying they probably won't have any til after Christmas.

If you order a bundle you can get one before Xmas, looking like souls packs will be after Xmas though according to most online retailers

Best bet could be GAME midnight launch as they may have some set aside for non preorders

I've only ordered elsewhere a couple of times. Uncharted 3 was english only, sadly. I could understand it, but I still prefer having subtitles in my language.
P.S: by googling I found that AC4 does not have Italian language in current-gen versions.
Dammit.

21st here too, i remember going straight to Shopto after the reveal i was hyped to fuck and then i was like OHHH YES ITS THERE
 
Also heads up guys, if you want to check out the iPhone PSN App (the new one) you can simply download it via a fake US ITunes Store account. Its even localized and works perfect :)

wat? That would be insane :O And would also make everyone who preordered with amazon suffer really really hard :/

Have to agree, DPD have been fantastic for me. Play.com chose them to deliver my Vita and they were great - kept the tracking info updated and even gave me a one hour window of when to expect the delivery - the driver arrived right at the start of the hour they specified. Couldn't have asked for better service.

Ordered the PS4 with ShopTo and as far as I know they use DPD as well, thankfully.

We are getting close every day!

I'm going to be honest, at this point I'm more worried about other things such: Am I going to be able to get the Bundle with Killzone or the store might not even get that one (it's a chance), will they do a midnight launch? They still don't know, what games are they going to have on Stock? Lately they missed almost every release day by weeks or a couple of days and this worries me because I would like to get at least one game besides the offerings from PS+.

I can't wait to have all these answers answered but now I can only hope for the best. I also hope I can get a PS4 without problems, seeing those threads on GAF scare me a bit but we need to be strong and have no fear.

I think North America got FIFA and Trine 2, so those I guess. There'll be some Free-to-play games as well obviously (War Thunder, Blacklight: Retribution, Warframe). There's also The Playroom, although the functionality is pretty limited if you don't get the camera ;)

If you get (or already have) PS+ then I assume that the EU Instant Game Collection PS4 games will be the same as North America (Resogun and Contrast).

So yeah, even if you don't buy a game on launch day there'll be plenty of stuff to mess around with and play :)

Just bare in mind I'm currently on a trip to Birmingham for work til Friday so might not be able to accept you til then (just pm me if you add me so I know who to look out for)

ShopTo started Xbox orders last weekend, so not surprising they would start putting money on hold for PS4 this weekend.
