Yeah, guy on the news page said he got an offer 2 or 3 days ago, so they still are. The order seems really messed up though, People have ordered before him, and not got an offer, including myself.

Just keep an eye out on when shopto send the X1 out to people this coming week, just to get an idea.
Funny thing is, until your charged, your always thinking "should I cancel", "should I sell it on" etc., but now it's done, feel pretty excited.

One million sold. If it had been like 400,000 then yeah I'd be worried. But if let's say even 10,000 are faulty then that isn't bad.
Only problem I have is getting a replacement fast.

That could just be Microsoft warning them about breaking street date (like activision with COD). So they're not risking it, however it could be different with Sony (heck the vita, 3DS XL and wii u all got to me a day early)
So I wouldn't rule it out just yet

Yeah true. Hopefully Amazon still have units allocated in the events of failures though. The sales number is huge, and I predict they will be strong in AU as well.

Man... I've even tried to pull some strings to get one, since my family has a friend who works in one of the bigger stores there, and he even said to his superiors that he wanted PS4 for himself, but no luck, they're getting like 30 consoles and they have over 90 preorders. And he apparently asked some of his friends who work in other stores (somewhere in Heidelberg), and they're also sold out.
Any chance to find some of the smaller shops that will have it? I wouldn't like to travel all the way to Germany and spend 100+ on bus tickets just to see PS4-less shelves

1. Just the console itself, I was too late for the mega bundle and the other bundles didn't really appeal to me. I have ordered the camera and extra DS4 separately though as they were cheap on Gamestop's website.
2. No - it's complete pot luck, and will likely be fine anyway since the number of faulty consoles is much smaller than the number of sold consoles.

I've got two pre-orders. One is mine, another is for a mate who is stuck in the dark ages when it comes to ordering online and doesn't normally believe in pre-orders. However I stuck one in on his behalf as I know he'd be gutted if he didn't get one Day One and in hindsight that's turned out to be a good decision. Mine is coming from Amazon and I'm picking his up from GAME. I might do the midnight launch for his. Never done one before but I feel like giving it a shot, and seems like a nice opportunity to experience a store pick up console launch in addition to my usual anxious wait at home for the postman on the Friday.

Mine was just the standard console.
Next week or so should go quick as well due to the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary events and stuff going on so its only the launch week I need to get through!

My preorder has been group with my copy of Zelda, which comes out on friday. This means they might mess up accidently send the PS4 with Zelda this week. Right? Right?!

They emailed me on 27th September saying:
We have some fantastic news - we are delighted to let you know that we can guarantee your PlayStation 4 console for launch on 29th November!
So, if you have had that email, I'd say your good to go.
If not, then I wouldnt know.

Make sure even you pre- paid that you pay for all your games and stuff. Or have money in account for them.
Shopto for the Xbox one started charging me for the extra stuff to save on postage. Some people didn't have money in account for that and ended up getting failed payment. In some cases cancelled.

Hmm I pre ordered the mega bundle with ShopTo, no processing e-mail yet. Paid the order off a week or two ago too. Will explode with excitement when that e-mail comes through, ha ha. Eager to see if anyone will get the console a day early or not though. I did read they were only shipping the day before with DPD for PS4 somewhere, so would presume the same for X1.

Shopto tried charging my account - but the payment bounced as I've had the money in a saving account and didn't think they'd charge so early. Plus they told me on twitter that they'd announce the date "via our usual channels".
Anyone have an idea when they're likely to try again?!

Usually they try next day and after that. So best do it fast.
