I have avoided the Killzone OT as I want to go in unspoiled. All the reports of system problems has me nervous I have to say.
Not free shipping, £16 + Customs fees. Screen shot from Friday there. Which is kind of BS, even with customs and shipping, its still £20 Cheaper than in the Uk. Still got my Killzone megabundle pre-order set for the 29Th though, which will likely sell for no profit
I was waiting until a closer time to put some money in my bank account to help pay for the PS4, but if ShopTo are already taking money (haven't got the email yet), I better hurry up. I think I have enough in there for it now but I'm not be sure.
I tell you what did take me by surprise - CoD Ghosts shipping on the same day as current gen release. Would have cancelled it to be honest as I'm not impressed.

Got the fear about my cc details on Amazon, so checked they were correct by ordering one of these:

Which, should it prove reliable, will be the replacement media player since we don't get video playback yet. Plus it plays mkvs, can be formatted to NTFS so no more limited to 4gb by FAT rubbish. I figure for £24 inc postage it's worth it.

I was when the reports started coming in on the NA launch day. Now im fine I reckon i'll be ok, broken units suck if people get them though.
It's my impression there's a lot here in Denmark.
A single Elgiganten has 250+ in stock. While I only pre-ordered my PS4 at a Sony Center last month, yet I should be pretty safe getting one at launch.
ShopTo started processing my PS4 order jointly with my Link Between Worlds. I can only assume this means I'll be getting my PS4 on the 22ndor Zelda on the 29th
One can only hope but what makes you think that? They may be taking money now but will surely send it a couple of days before.

Yeah there is, East Midlands Airport it's right next to Donington race circuit (which is where the festival takes place) and it's bloody annoying because you get planes taking off and landing right over your head at night.

Shopto tried charging my account - but the payment bounced as I've had the money in a saving account and didn't think they'd charge so early. Plus they told me on twitter that they'd announce the date "via our usual channels".
Anyone have an idea when they're likely to try again?!
If you can just move the money into the proper account now and then pay for it straight away?
I paid mine off a few weeks ago just incase
Mine says Processing. If you got an 'Order Receipt' email after the account charge one, you're probably fine.

I would have thought the same but I popped into the Sainsburys next to my Uni last week which would be a pretty obscure place to pre-order a PS4 and they were out already. Still, you might have some luck elsewhere. There's bound to be a few about.
As for mine, Amazon have an est. delivery date of the 30th November which I'm pretty happy with.

Pommie in Australia, joining up for the wait! Got my fastpass ready for the midnight launch. Just hope the games get here from Hong Kong before the 29th. Two games and an extra controller for the same price as two games in store over here!

JB Hifi have just reduced the price of all their PS4 games to 'only' $79, so it's not as bad as it was and makes importing not really worth it for me.
Shit I better do a run around this week then to find out if I'll be in luck.

With a million units sold, even a 1% failure rate would mean 10,000 dead consoles. So the number of problems sounds higher than they really are. Still sucks though.

EDIT: Hang on didn't someone on here say they got hit with a massive import fee for their PS4 like an extra 200$?
Well Amazon charge customs up front, so you don't have to pay it later, which means you shouldn't get hit by any fees later.
I'd assume Salsa must have ordered somewhere else, or had someone forward the parcel from America or something.

EDIT: Small question actually anyone had anything delivered by DPD before? I'm not gonna be home till about 6pm that night no idea when someone will be in the house maybe somepoint after 2pm don't suppose if i left like a note on the window would they leave it with a neighbour?

It is yeah. You can still play blurays released in europe that are region free naturally. You just can't play the ones that are tied to Regions B or C.
You can tell them to deliver to a neighbour using your tracking number on the day permitting it's before the delivery has been attempted. Just put the tracking number into their website and there will be an option on the page. The page also tracks the location of the driver too, so you can follow it if you were bored.

So like PS3, ya scared me then although I use my home theater to play BD's now for lossless (sadly mine only has 1 HDMi port and no inputs,even thou the less expensive older model had 3

Yeah was thinking about this earlier. Xbox will have a week to sell a lot in the EU and I remember hearing the PS4's are already sitting at warehouses all over EU.

Some back-story:
Ordered my KZ Gamer-Bundle from Amazon day after E3. They tried to charge my card to see if it was gonna work when they ship it, like a month ago and sent me an email saying there was a problem with my card. So, naturally I am worried and go straight to Amazon to see what's up. Check my card details, and it says these card details have expired or whatever blah blah, here's some other details. These details were EXACTLY the same as the previous details, including the expiry date (which was 2015!). This, I found odd.
So I jump onto the Amazon chat with a very nice guy called Neil. He assured me that my order would be fine for release day, and that he would check the order over the next few days if there were any problems. Apparently, the card was deactivated :/ Must have been a problem on Amazon's end lol.
So on launch day I am getting:
the gamer pack (KZ, extra controller and camera included)
BF4 and FIFA 14 (physical, both upgrades from the PS3 versions)
Maybe a controller dock
SO EXCITE!
