You are lucky enough, mine says that they'll contact me with an email when shipping info is available. Still they said that it's going to be shipped before Christmas 2013 guaranteed.(Amazon Italy)
 
Luckily i managed to find one, bought it from Ebay, they will send it the 29th and so i will not receive it on Day One. Still this is the best way to get it as soon as possible for pepole like me who hadn't preoerdered.
 
Guys, I can't make a threat about this, but Gamestop in Germany called me regarding my PS4 Preorder that I made a few days after E3.

They have an offer. Either Killzone or Knack for 40€, or both for 50€.

Pretty good! Call them and ask if that applies to you too.

Anyone know any places in the UK that sell the games at a reasonable price? Amazon's price of £55 for NBA2K14 is ridiculous. Shopto is offering it for £50 so I will go with them for that game.
 
Amazon just received my PS3 FIFA14, so I just preordered the PS4 version for £10 :D

and should be here on the 22nd, which is pointless but fun.

They were only knocking off 6% when I tried.

Fortunately I did manage to get Killzone for £40 through them back when Amazon briefly dropped game prices.
 
I prepaid my entire order from ShopTo last night in hopes that I might be the equivalent of that early Xbone guy from a few weeks back. Unfortunately I've had no email saying my order has been dispatched.

It was worth a try..
 
I just received my imported PS4 from amazon.com here in Austria.

And guess what, it's DOA. Blue light of death, can't get into safe mode.

Fuck me :(
 
So I've definitely decided I want one at Launch now after dithering for so long.

Phoned a local GAME and the guy said the whole company is sold out until the New Year. What I expected. Just phoned Sainsburys and they don't even know if they're getting any lol. (a ploy perhaps?).

I've got a friend buying it from John Lewis where he works. I might just get him to sort me one out as well (especially if he can get me an employee discount lol).

Otherwise I'm not sure. Is there anyone else that is also late to the game? What are you going to do or what have you done? Pre-ordering or leaving it till the day? Argos, Currys, Supermarket etc.?

Nothing helped. So far I've tried / checked:

- HDMI pins look fine
- Different HDMI cable
- Different TV set (well, my PC monitor instead of my TV)
- HDD seems to be connected correctly

The fact that I can't even get into safe mode (no second beep) doesn't make me feel too optimistic.

Amazon can only offer a refund since they don't have any more hardware in stock.


EDIT: Sony Austria just told me that I'd need a voltage converter since the PS4 does not have an universal PSU. Can anyone confirm this?

Jup. I've seen threads where people who pre ordered in August from Webhallen isn't getting it. I got confirmation last week from Webhallen that I will get a ps4 on release, but I pre ordered at the end of june .

Just got an order receipt email from Shopto with everything I've pre-ordered, check my account everything is processing, its happening!

I ordered same day, standalone with camera and game. Got order reciept at 5pm today.

My girlfriend is still waiting for hers, tho she did order 4 months later which may explain it.

If the Xbox One launch goes smoothly this week then Sony could get off to a rough start.

I hope you get a quick refund and find a place in Austria to buy one at launch
 
Just prepaid my shopto order. Wanted to make sure everything went through and was authorised.

Was a bit disappointed to see the despatch only on 28th note, basically saying you'll get it on the day of launch rather than a day early. Ho hum, would have been a nice bonus.

Yeah, she'll probably get charged in the next few days.

I doubt it since the Ps3 accepts any voltage but you never know. You'll need one of the N.Americans to check for you though.

Every time I get the new email notification on my phone my hopes are raised. Still waiting for the processing email here too

I doubt it too, but the label on the PS4 says "120V" and not the usual "120 - 240V" I've seen on other devices.

Please let me know what you friend says, thank you!

It does. If it didn't, your PS4 wouldn't even show a blue light. The PSU would've been fried by now.
