I bought Toki Tori 1 and 2+, despite already getting the first one through a humble bundle.

I bought them in the right order but it seems people who buy TT2 before TT1 would be sad?

They're completely different games. I don't know why anyone would be sad if they owned two wholly unique and amazing puzzle games for under $10.

Maybe, but Toki Tori 2+ has been on eShop for like 6+ months. So likelihood of someone randomly getting both this week in wrong order will likely be low I bet.

Though, that is only for Europe, NA doesn't matter, as no promotion there sadly (NOA fault there), but at least 40% off.

How does the update for toki tori 2+ work?

I just bought 1 and 2, it downloads and installs both, them the download for the toki tori 2+ update data downloads, but doesn't 'install' - just says 'download complete'.

Edit: oh never mind I clicked on it in the download manager and it says you need to open the software that needs updating.

While I'm here, I also bought super Mario world.

Is it me or does the gamepad off tv have some lag or lower responsiveness? I feel I die a lot more easily on the gamepad.

You forgot to add it to the OP as replacement for UNTITLED SHIN'EN RACING GAME ;)

From the Paradise Lost Thread:

Hi people! I'm Enol Martínez, lead designer and artist at Asthree Works.

I'm here to talk with you and have some feedback from the community.
Also, I want to clear all your doubts so feel free to ask me anything about the project!

Besides that, I want to thank all of you for the fantastic support and the kind words. That strives our team to make the game the best we can ;)

In the last update we added Wii U as a release platform. Many players asked for it and we decided to make that happen and develop this version since the beginning. Only thing is that we don't assure a day 1 launch for this version... we need more funding (there's a stretch goal for that) to speed up things and release it with the rest of versions.

Hope you like this decision!

Actually we were thinking about a Splinter Cell / MGS4 / Team fortress (weird fusion of things btw) like multiplayer consisting in a fight between plants and spec-ops, with every member of each team having exclusive abilities.

Other mode could consist in a "find and capture the plant" with 3 / 4 security comrades searching for the alien and other player sneaking trough different scenarios, all of them against the clock.
I think this last idea implemented in the Wii U with the plant-player seeing the position of the rest of friends on the gamepad could be awesome.

And another Kickstarter with a Wii U Stretch Goal:

Lobodestroyo
A retro action adventure game inspired by N64-era collect-a-thon platformers. Channeling the spirit of Rareware's late 90's titles.

They're working on Unity, but the Wii U version requires the most amount?

I've seen a couple of kickstarters like that (and some where they are ignoring wii u altogether) completely nonsensical really

that's even more hilarious is the amounts asked for playstation support don't even cover unity licence fees, think some indie devs really are clueless

EDIT - fucking hell just read the comments on the KS, wii u most expensive to make??? hahaha they have no clue at all, seems the whole kickstarter is just a ouya cash grab

The difference between the PC to the PS4 is $4000, and then to the Xbox One is $3000, I don't even think that's enough money to cover the license cost for Unity for each of those platforms, let alone the development time.

I guess they're depending on that Ouya cash bonus.

They're working on Unity, but the Wii U version requires the most amount?

Not to mention that Unity for PS4 and Xbone are not even in a public beta state. Wii U version is available now.

It is a bit hard to trust a team that hasn't done their research.

They're working on Unity, but the Wii U version requires the most amount?

Asked them on twitter if Unity was "free" on WiiU why was the cost so high

that's correct sir! The cost is not for the Unity port more so for the estimated cost of becoming a WiiU Dev. We are working..
...on getting this accurately addressed and lowered should we get closer to surpassing our initial goal. Due to WiiU backer demand.

Basically..."We know our game appeals to the Nintendo crowd. It looks like Windwaker and plays like an N64 platformer. We put that stretch goal last because we want to milk this thing."

thank you, added.
can you or someone else helping me with the latest announcements?

The game is called MYSTERIOUS CITIES OF GOLD not MISTERIOUS CITIES OF GOLD

Now back to posting eShop games:

From Nami Tentou Mushi's website
What we’ve decided to do now, since our Kickstarter for PING 2 didn’t go well, is that we’ll remake PING 1 and release it for Wii U, PC, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS. It’s going to be called 1.5+ because it’s a remake with added content. We hope to double the amount of levels in it to make it more of a deal and more fun for console and PC gaming. The reason why we can do this project without funding up front is because it’s a remake of something we’ve already done, so the code is there already. The music is there and the level design is there. It should only take 1 to 3 months to create and hopefully reach you by Spring~Summer. Wii U is still our major goal. We want to be on a video game console no matter what, especially a Nintendo console. So you have that to look forward to.

Looks like Abyss HD is in active development, and they're adding multiplayer.

Anyone play the DSi release?

Starting to be mighty impressed with Enjoy Up's WiiU support. UnEpic looks fantastic and all of these Unity projects look like neat throwbacks. Wonder if they'll consider an HD port of Chronos Twin next?

Seriously! Major props! AND I just won a free code for 99Seconds on DSiWare from them! XD

Let's see if I can count their games on Wii U:

Cars & Platforms
Rock N' Racing: Off Road
Project Aguraki
Abyss
Unepic (this is just published right, not developed by them?)

That all of them?

An eShop game that uses the Nintendo Web Framework

It seems to be made by a GAF member. GulAtiCa or something...

ZaciSa’s Last Stand

What is it?

ZaciSa’s Last Stand is a simple, yet challenging, 2D tower defense game set in space. The main concept is that you have to defend your base from an onslaught of enemy ships that seek to destroy you and your way of life. To do yhis, you will deploy different Bot weapons, such as a Sentry or Bomber to destroy them before they get to your base. The game will start out easy enough — at least in theory — with only something small, like twenty weak enemies. Every level you survive will result in more enemies with increasing strength. You gain points and money for every ship you destroy, as well as a nice bonus at the end of each round. You use this money to not only build more Bots, but also different kind of upgrades. Can you survive the slaughter?

ZACISA’S LAST STAND
Developer: ZeNfA Productions
Date: Dec 2013/Jan 2014 at the earliest
Price: Aiming for $2.99

eShop question: Where can I see the size of the games? I know I can search it on the internet, but I want to know where to find that inside the eShop.

EDGE comes out this Thursday. Looking forward to downloading it and adding it to my Two Tribes tab.

it will be mine, with the other one in december. I skipped tokitori because I had it on the wii but I have tokitori2

eShop question: Where can I see the size of the games? I know I can search it on the internet, but I want to know where to find that inside the eShop.

unfortunately, you can see it only after purchase, I think. after that you see a page with the size and the space available info

good to see Lobodestroyo being more realistic with the Wii U stretch goal

btw, remember that in a couple of days we'll have:

PAL/US
Wii U
Coaster Crazy Deluxe €6.70/£5.99/9.99$
The Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths €14.99/£13.49
EDGE €/$1.99/£1.79 (Ends February 1, afterwards €/$3.99/£3.59)

EDGE will totally be mine

A bit of info on some of the upcoming eShop games from Enjoy Up.

Enjoy Up is working in 5 games for the Wii U eShop: Unepic is the only one coming in 2013. Abyss remake,Darts Up, Rock´N Racing Off Road and Aguraki will follow.

Abyss
The Wii U version of Abyss is a port from the DSiWare version with new missions and a multiplayer racing mode for 2 players. It has upgraded graphics and supports Off-TV play.

Rock´N Racing Off Road
Rock´N Racing Off Road is a racing game inspired in the Super Off Road classic game. Supports multiplayer for 5 people at the same time and Off-TV Play. Enjoy Up is using Unity tools for physics: driving, crashes and collisions.

Aguraki
Aguraki is the side scrolling shoot´em up they show a couple of months ago. It will feature high difficult level, great final bosses, some multiplayer options and online leaderboards. Moruno says that he loves Treasure games, so this is a project aimed for classic shooter lovers.

He also congratulates Nintendo for giving licensed developers Unity 3D tools because they can save a lot of time and money forgetting about engine, level editor, physics and more. And because it is easier to go multiplatform.

I just saw the trailer of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams... that game seems like a nice polished title. some nice graphics. Is it any good, did anyone play it here? Had this been out during launch i might have picked it up i think (along with Trine2 and Nano Assault Neo)... but with the games coming out now, the backlog i have waiting and games i 'm intending to get for cheap, it's not the best time right now for me. Ugh. There should be a donate button in the eshop for indie titles, so you can donate your guilt away when you don't end up buying them. I'd rather donate all these devs a couple of bucks than buy three 15 dollar games knowing i will hardly touch them.

I haven't played it but Nintendo Life gave the DS game 9/10 and the Wii U a solid 8/10. I think I remember at least one person in this thread played it and liked it a lot.
