They were the only company offering day 1 preorders when Amazon fucked up my preorder.
I've got two on the way, a standard console from ShopTo which took payment Sunday evening. (Ordered start of June).
And a Mega Bundle from GameSeek.
Both due on release day but hopefully sooner, GameSeek have sent everything I've ordered a day or two early so fingers crossed.
I just wish the retailers would give us Europeans some decent offers on games like the US, not only do we get over charged on everything, but our cousins from across the pond get the great deal on games too.
All it will take is for one popular retailer to drop their prices and hopefully it will set off a pricing war, I'm holding off buying any games until the last few days in the hope this will happen.

Pre-ordered the Killzone bundle on the 1st of of November from Shopto. Didnt think i would get one on launch day. But they have charged my card and sent me an order receipt. So happy.
Don't they normally only charge when they process the order for shipping? Probably just dealing with all the xbox orders first.
It was on their blog that any orders before a certain date were guaranteed for launch day, so you can always check against that.
I played Knack for two hours yesterday. It's nowhere near bad, maybe a bit banal but it's still a nice little game.

Killzone and knack should arrive this week from play Asia. Chose fedex as my shipping preferences since they initially said it would take one week to ship, but they ended up shipping it today when I ordered them on Sunday.

That IS the full 1.50 firmware so yes your good to go with just that.

I am pretty sure the update is only 300 MB. 800 is for installing a new HDD
29th. Altough if you downloaded the old app you can redownload that as it has been updated.
I can personally vouch for this, the new app is pretty slick.

Shit. Amazon told me not to change my delivery address as my order has already entered the dispatch process. There's going to be a five-hour window on the 29th where no one is home. I just know it'll arrive in that window..

will i need the season pass from the canada store or can i get the one from the us store? If yes i could buy the season pass from amazon.com as a digital code.

I don't think we're going to know these for sure until EU consoles are in the hands of consumers. For a lot of the PS3/Vita releases the DLC has been region specific (i.e. you need to pickup the DLC from the same region store as the game was bought from) so I would expect it to be the same here.
Different issues. DLC was region specific on PS3 but playing US games from an EU account was not.
Looks like I'm John Lewising this. My friend's plan is to buy the units when the stock arrives a few days before release day (which he says he can do through the system) so then we've got them secured for launch. Hope it works or it's going to be a run around that day.
I phoned my local and the guy said that they have sold out all PS4s across the company until the New Year. Unless you're talking about the games, in which case my mistake.

Depends on its size, I think officially the max is 9.5mm (one site suggested 12.5mm though).

In America it came with a $10 PSN card so I assume here in the UK it'll be £10 and €10 for you guys. So at least that brings the price of one purchase to the same as retail.
