FYI, I made it :)
Actually very clever...the classic puzzle is damn obvious AFTER you solve it :)
I can finally progress approaching from south.

Yeah same here, forgot to post an update.
Did you also use FOG inside the cave to reveal the third letter?

Also, be sure to follow the clinking noise when you hear it in your journey :)

Well....between next friday sales and the 'before iTunes lockdown' sales it will be pure madness in the Appstore for a bit.
Game is doing pretty well in the charts...I do not think (hope) it will be discounted...or maybe it will be just not to lose the position for the very remunerative Christmas sales among the other 10000000000000000 discounted apps.
But it's the Appstore...you never know...be glad to have supported the devs :)

No regrets. I'm about two hours in and the game is fantastic so far. Glad to have supported the devs.

Full blasphemy mode: downloading a Zelda OST to make a playlist for when I play. Lol

Any OP additions of late November that I should add in? I've been a little out of it lately with work/nextgen launches and all that, leaving little time over for things other than slouching on the TV couch or sleeping.

Lords of Waterdeep and Drive on Moscow seem to be well received, but I can't speak on either of them.

Touchgrind Skate 2?

Tower Dwellers for sure

Skulls of the Shogun is out for $5.50 (universal) https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/id710354958?mt=8

It is a very highly regarded strategy title that is ideal for people hesitant about the genre. It is also a complete game, with no IAP!

Skull-tastic features:
- Beautifully hand-drawn and hand-animated! See it in motion!
- 4 magical animal monks to discover and master!
- 24 levels of epic single-player story! Why can’t General Akamoto get any respect?!
- 4 gods and 6 generals, all with distinct personalities!
- Up to 4 friends can battle at once!
- Send your moves turn-by-turn in Skulls Anywhere mode!
- Pass and Play with a single iPhone or iPad! It's game night!
- Power up your army to deadly demons!
- Gain experience, emblems, and cred with the progression system!
- BONUS island featuring persistent troops and the Tanuki Monk!
- Easy to learn, tough to master. Challenge your friends!
- Distinctive soundtrack of samurai grooves!
- Like a Saturday morning cartoon - with teeth!

I'm really enjoying Lords of Waterdeep at the moment. Never played the original board game so I can't say how faithful a reproduction it is but it's fun and seems to have a good level of strategy involved. Online works the same way as Ascension so there's a fair bit of waiting for others to take your turn which can sometimes to cause you to forget what quests you're trying for but at the worst that's only annoying. The UI is crisp and clean and the art pretty nice, the tutorial also does a great job of explaining the board and mechanics.

I've tried other playdek games before such as Agricola andy ever been able to get in to them despite really wanting to, they've either been too difficult (either due to a poor tutorial or me being thick, not sure which) or they've just not managed to hod my attention. Ascension is my most played ios game without a doubt and at the moment I reckon Waterdeep could end up not being far behind.

Very cool Skulls of the Shogun has finally made it to ipad. Definitely will be picking it up in the coming days/weeks.

FFIVTAY and Demon Tribe!

Angry Birds Go... holy shit this game represents everything that's wrong with the App Store. I hope no one supports this garbage. Timers in a Mario Kart game... lol

Not even the Angry Birds brand can get iOS customers to pay up front...and people still believe Apple's going to take over gaming.

We just released SKULLS OF THE SHOGUN for iOS today. It's $5 and a universal app with zero IAP, and it's got the new singleplayer episode, progression system, and new multiplayer maps from the Steam version (the Bone-A-Fide Edition) rolled into it, making it the sickest Skulls game you could ever hope to play on a tablet.

We authored all our content at super high res, so the first time we saw it up and running on a Retina iPad our eyes exploded. It's got like 3x the pixels of the Xbox 360 version. I guess we're living in the future and I'm totally okay with that.

It's right here and stuff

Yup. I used to think Apple's ecosystem had a chance to compete with the big boys... after this year it's quite obvious they are going the way of Facebook games. Even the average customer will start rejecting this over time. All it will take is a few big titles to take it too far. It's turned into a situation where a few companies get extremely lucky and the rest fail miserably.

Wow-Angry Birds GO has timers?? I downloaded it and played for about 5 minutes and I liked what I saw-but timers? For fucks sake man.

I also downloaded Doctor Who: Legacy, and it's basically a Doctor Who-skinned Puzzles & Dragons....The mechanics are exactly the same so far. There is a story shoehorned in, and you are going to be unlocking various "Seasons" of the show, with different episodes, and then you will unlock characters for your team . You start off with The Eleventh Doctor and Madame Vastra. The first character you recruit is Jenny, and I just finished the "Nightmare in Silver" episodes where you unlock Warrick Davis's character from that episode. The same mechanics of matching at least 3, and if you match more than that it's a combo attack-and each character has a different attack. I'll keep playing, it's good-but if you're burnt out on P&D it probably won't be your thing. I'm in it just to keep unlocking stuff.

Doctor Who themed P&D-style match 3 with no energy system? Had no idea about this, I'm in.

On this. Never got a chance to play it on other systems, but saw it on Giant Bomb back in the day and love me some advance wars-esque strategy.

Also, a follow up on Stealth Inc. They added in the community levels and added a static left and right button option, which is rad. Basically that entire game is rad.

Wait...Skulls of the Shogun is like Advance Wars?

Really? I had never heard of it before this thread but now I'm curious...

Congrats dude! Always liked the look of your stuff. Sorry it didn't work out too well with Windows phone...

Great stuff. Thanks to all involved for getting it up.

Are there any iOS Wizardry-likes out there? Something similar to DS games Etrian Odyssey and The Dark Spire?

Oh yes, I would love an iOS Etrian Odyssey! Curious why a game like that hasn't come out yet. I guess maybe it's too brutal for most people playing on iOS?

Buying XCom for sure. Been waiting for a sale on this since getting my iPad Air.

Really liking KOTOR on the iPad as well.

If you bought Skulls and it's bombing on launch, we've run into an issue where the game may not start if "Region Format" is not set to "United States." We are patching ASAP; for now, please select Settings -> General -> International -> Region Format -> United States.

THAT IS ALL!

I just bought Lords of Waterdeep and for the first time (I think) I created a Playdek account (didn't play Ascension since ages)....is it normal I can't see my Gamecenter friends anymore? Do I have to manually add them with their Playdek accounts????

Fuck the haters, I'm loving Oceanhorn. Sets a new standard for iOS games of this type, and it will only get better from here as bluetooth controller support becomes the norm.
