Ubi responded to my ticket about Anno 1404, King Kong and Tintin (quickly, too -- I sent it just 7.5 hours ago), stating that, as per my wish, the enquiries have been forwarded to the relevant channels. I'm not going to get my hopes up but if they appear on Steam in the near future (or, in the case of Anno, reappear), you know who to thank.
I still have Dawn of Discovery on my Steam wishlist from back when Gaben was giving away numerous free games based on what was on your wishlist, or the ultimate prize of the entire Steam library to one lucky person.

We would have probably seen Anno 1404 reappear ages ago if they had any intentions of putting it back on Steam.
Valve did accommodate listings for pulled games, at least to some degree. Somebody here won Crysis 2, IIRC.
I agree, but given the nature of the ticket Anno was a related topic so I figured it couldn't hurt to include it. Also, The_Monk would have yelled at me if I didn't.
While they are somewhat trying to rid themselves of the worst company in America tag, I think they are doing it at the cost of the rest of the world. EU Origin has BF4 for 40% off which leaves it at around $49. No discount coupons for that one, obviously.

I've never even installed Origin on my pc and I've already trashed every Origin key from Humble Bundle to ModBot, so in fact the true traitors are those who won those keys! Shame on them!

Crazy good game with excellent storytelling and a good message, more people should play it especially if you liked Alice Madness Returns.
there have been about 5 patches since release, including one 3.1GB patch. it's still a little buggy but i'm pretty sure all of the game breaking bugs have been fixed
I bought it since it's about 14 and it won't go near that price on the autumn or winter sale.

Hey, at least Origin is better than Uplay. I loved having to download a patch for AssCreed 3 each time I loaded it up for the first 6 times. By the seventh time I played, it was actually fully patched! Neat.
Ah, strange, I'd assumed Valve had an automated system in place. Anywho, Trials is most definitely excluded.

Games with so much DLC always gets me to just wait to buy a game, especially if it's a franchise with history on having GOTY editions.

My favorite Batman game so far. It's the only batman game where I actually bothered to pick up all the enigma/riddler stuff. The bugs, the criticla ones at least, have been fixed too, and it runs really well, and looks amazing. Those Physx effects really do add to the emmersion.

The flash sales do seem to be a preview or encore of daily deals so I'd be very surprised if we don't see it again.
Going to do the same. I'm still having fun with extra stuff in City and l also have to do another run of Asylum for the Steam achievements, so no hurry for me.
Eh, but Origin too has its perks.
I had a hint of that excellent userfriendliness while helping my gf setting up Sims 3 and activating a couple of DLCs.
Holy shit, if that nightmare is what is supposed to be their most casual game, I can't even begin to imagine how they handle stuff like I dunno Crysis... :'(
EDIT: also, I used uPlay for From Dust only, and it worked just fine - or at least, I didn't need anything from it except log in and launch the game...
