As Meg Ryan famously demonstrated in "When Harry Met Sally," women can -- and do -- fake orgasms in bed. But a new survey suggests that it's men who are more likely to fake the Big O -- and that's not the only thing they're lying about between the sheets.

Polling more than 1,200 of its readers, Australia's The Sunday Telegraph discovered that 23 percent of men admitted to faking an orgasm with their partner, compared to just 20.6 percent of women.

That finding corroborates a recent U.S. survey that showed out of 1,080 men, nearly one in four had admitted to simulating a climax in bed.

I don't know about you guys, but even if I was having really bad sex I don't think I could do that. I mean, logistically... wouldn't it be pretty obvious?

Done it before. Slap on a condom and you might not get enough friction to finish.
I faked it and then went to 'clean up'. It was dark so she was none the wiser.

She's probably thinking the same thing.

As for me, I can't say I've ever faked an orgasm, but if I was going to I guess I'm supposed to just spit on his back or something.

I've never pretended, but I've definitely been in situations where I would have made her feel better if I did.

My last girl would sometimes get a little enthusiastic chasing down her own orgasm while throwing the rhythm off for my own. It's no big deal the first couple of times, but when she's on her fourth, sometimes you just want your turn to get off, too, you know? She felt bad about it "stealing" it from me the couple of times when I finally gave up. Faking it would have probably saved her a little grief.
