NFL 2013 Wild Card |OT| The Return of Jafar

Jay Glazer reporting Lovie to Tampa is a done deal. Look elsewhere, Loins

We obviously did not want him. If we wanted him he would've been here. Its obvious Mayhew was going for Whisenhunt all along. Lovie would've loved the opportunity to run a 4-3 with the talent we have on the defensive front 7, and high draft picks next year.

I can guarantee you Lovie would''ve taken the Lions job over the Bucs job if we made the offer. Mayhew and the management want Whisenhunt.

Funny thing I see a lot of people talk up Carr saying he could be the #1 QB taken

I haven't watched any of Bortles at all this year, and pretty impressed so far. Carr I'm indifferent on.

JFF I feel would thrive in a dome. Bad weather Cleveland is a bad idea for him. Would love to see Teddy here.

Dat salt. It's ok to get your 2nd choice.

I'll reiterate my thoughts on Bortles from earlier in the year when LJ brought him up.

"I've seen a decent amount of him, looks good whenever I have watched him play. Good pocket presence, nice mobility (especially for a guy his size), and very efficient with the ball."

Still? Even after his subpar performance against USC?

I'd wait to see who he brings in as OC. In Chicago he hired Terry Shea, Ron Turner, Mike Martz, and Mike Tice. Lovie can't coach the offensive side of the ball for shit.

People have been saying it would be Jeff Tedford, the former Cal head coach.

No salt its just the truth. The front office, and Whisenhunt, are just waiting for the Chargers playoffs to end whenever they end.

The Lions are a far more attractive coaching job for a variety of reasons. Martin Mayhew and the front offense did not want Lovie for whatever reason. It will be Ken Whisenhunt, and the announcement will be made as soon as the Chargers are done with their Superbowl run,

Only QB I've seen rated higher than Teddy who might declare is Mariota. Bortles climb up draft boards though definitely has him just behind Bridgewater currently though.

There was a report about a week ago that at least two teams would have Hundley above Bridgewater if he came out.

La Canfora:

Some rumblings around the league former Bears GM Jerry Angelo - a former Buc exec as well - might be a part of Team Lovie in Tampa

More reason why I think Houston takes him. Fits the description of what O'Brien wants at QB. Drop down a few spots to someone wanting Teddy/Manziel.

Damn you're right I remember that now. Had forgotten about Hundley too. For the sake of the Browns I hope all these guys declare. I can just tell there will end up being three can't miss prospects after all the pre draft stuff is done and we pick 4th.

Browns never get the top QB choice. And when they do, it's Tim Couch

I'd agree that Whisenhunt is definitely my first choice now. Missing out on Lovie, hey, you win some and you lose some.

My Chargers fan-side is being overruled by my Lions fan-side. Sorry Chargers, I'd like this done as soon as possible...

I think there's a pretty good amount of good Rbs that'll be in this draft too.
They have two 1st round picks. They can have who they want, I think
Pretty much, after the Texans it's pretty much our pick of the group. I mean I'm sure The Rams would love to trade with us if it really came down to it. I would hope we could stay at 4 though

Initially I was feeling very confident in the 49ers this weekend, but now I'm hearing it's going to be like -5 degrees farenheight? That's a huge wildcard to throw in the mix

I personally hope Hundley declares for the draft.

So that more defensive players and O-linemen can drop to the Falcons.

Don't mind about getting the top prospect. I just want a reasonable prospect. I will gladly settle for reasonable.

Either way, it's almost always a crap shoot. You never know what someone is going to turn into when they enter the NFL. Sometimes it's the team, sometimes the player has a mental barrier.

Hopefully they finally get their guy.

Happy for Lovie, one of my favorite coaches.

Wanted him with the Lions more though. Would have been fantastic, and he gets to embarrass Chicago twice a year for revenge.

Wonder what they're going to do with Glennon.
From my limited knowledge of TB, they have a lot of talent at RB and a great receiving corp. Pretty good defense too.

Playing FIFA 13 for the first time, or rather any FIFA game in years. And playing it against 2 Latino fellows. I am officially getting my ass whooped game after game. Think I've had one shot on goal in 5 games so far. SOCCER IS COMPLEX!

You just let Ray Horton go and brought in Jim Schwartz for DC before you hired a head coach. Oh and this guy...

Is a complete ass clown.

Assistants Bill O'Brien will want to bring to HOU- Stan Hixon from Penn State (formerly coaches WRs in NFL); Pats TE coach George Godsey

Patriots.....your assistant coaches give them to us.

We don't have a great receiving corp. Jackson and Williams are a solid 1 and 2, but we're pretty thin after that. Plus we need a tight end. Defense was about average last year statistically, but they should be a lot better with the talent they have. Excited to see what Lovie can do with it.

By the way, whilst Hortons defence started out hot it was pretty poor the second half of the season.

FIFA has a big learning curve but it's a blast once you figure things out.
