If it's technically impossible to set it above 1080p, even if Platinum has tested such resolutions, there's going to be some disappointed folk. Sorry, Platinum and co. First time PC build and all that, but that's just how this stuff rolls, justified or not.

I don't play above 1080p, but higher resolutions are great for supersampling. I do wonder if JP just means they've not tested/supported anything above, or if it's technically locked. If the latter, won't be surprised if the cap is broken. Usually happens.

Just use SSAA or SGSSAA.

"CUTSCENES" added to the Main Menu. Play any and all cutscenes.

"CODECS" added to the Main Menu. Play all and any codec conversation scenes.

Added to the CHAPTER Menu the Boss Stage, enabling to play only the Boss battles.

They should patch these features into the PS3 and 360 games. I don't see how it'd cost them anything at all.

Umm, you do realize you would have to pay coders to write, test and compile the patch? And patching is not free on those services either.

It's 20% off right now, it was 30% off during the first day of the Holiday Sale.

Can confirm. Also, will continue to be 20% off until release. The longer you wait, the more you pay. So if you want to save, we recommend the pre-order. :)

No I searched, it costs money lol. I guess I see why they would do that...

ed: Might be out of date sources though.

I think Msoft and Sony got rid of patching fees however that was only at the beginning of 2013 though so it's a fairly recent policy change

EDIT: Btw, the OT is now being made by ScraftyDevil.

Hahaha I was going to say you may as well just cut and pasted Scrafty's original OT (with a writers credit of course).

To be fair though I think that thread will truly come alive when we all have it installed and it will be giftacular.

I'll make sure the thread's as good as it can possibly be, BY2K. I'm already at work on the new graphics, so expect it up sometime before this weekend.

Downsampling is waaaaay easier and more convenient than finding the correct nvidia bits and getting rid of the blur that almost always comes with SGSSAA.

Late to this post, but if the game supports MSAA in-game, you can just use the enhance option in Inspector and set the negative LOD accordingly.

Hmm, when do you think are we getting a preload? I recall some games being preloadable months even!

Similar business model to an Early Access game!

Still little to no news from Konami Europe on why the game isn't on the Irish Steam Store or when it will be...

Buy a key on Amazon or GMG and activate on Steam.

Changes by developer, there is no set time requirements.

Well damn. Looks like my 7770 should be able to handle things well enough, but I've got a C2D E8500...

This may end poorly :(

how about an even older QX9650?
so far I've never run into problems with any games, even the latest ones
but I'm assuming the dynamic slicing up of enemies will be very cpu intensive

We will have to see, no way to know whether a Platinum Engine game is CPU intensive or not.

The part where I can see that being a problem is Zandatsu since the game dropped more frames as you cut things into hundreds of pieces, but with Zangeki I'm wondering if this would even be much of a problem?
