If preload has to go to C and if game requires a double data so that it can unpack itself, then I fear that I wont be able to play this game anytime soon. My SSD is full.

I think i'k gonna go on very hard for my first pc playthrough.

When you know how to play, hard is a little too easy, even witouth power ups.

The DMC5 port makes you wonder what the fuck the other devs are doing with theirs. Granted it's not the most demanding game around but still.

The key is parrying. The dodge move is useful too, but once you learn to parry well, you cruise through most of it on hard mode - until the final boss at least. That final boss is hard.

The PC DMC4 port is flawless, if you ever want to go back to it.

I have them both already. I was itching for a replay of DMC3 into 4, but I decided just to wait for MGR

You could always try DMD DMC3.

Ya, good luck with that one lol

Up to seven now D: I could see it getting a decent bump on release day if port impressions are good.

mhh, Weren't they on revengeance only? In level 2 I mean. They are really annoying in that small ass room.

well, Maybe I'll grind a little bit XD

You're limited to a +1/+1/+1 sword and 130% health (I think) at that point in the game. Dare I say a new game VH run is a bit DMC3 DMD-esque

Good luck on the double GRAD.

Double GRAD? Holy shit.
I tried
Revengeance
mode and right at the start they throw a gekko at you. :lol

I really want to replay this on PC. Holding off 'till the summer sales.
I kind of wish I didn't play it on PS3, but it was free with Plus. And I only finished the story (on normal), because of the incoming PC version.

Funny stuff, I discovered the
Revengeance Parry
only after I beat the game. It completely flew over my head, I don't even know if they tell about it somewhere in the game.

For some reason I just can't get into Devil May Cry.
Might be the setting, might be the art style, might the soundtrack. Maybe all of them.

Yeah I did this and honestly I wouldn't recommend it. It's too hard at the beginning and too easy in the middle, except for that ridiculous spike at the double GRAD. The game just isn't designed around new game VH.

Reminds me of DmC, except they won't even let you play new game Sparda (not that you could beat it anyway, since there are Frost and Hell Knights before you get your weapons).

Just a quick question: if I installed this to my C drive and let it install on launch day, could I then move it easily using Steam Mover? Because I may just do that.

Yep. There is technically a way to use a junction to trick Steam into preloading onto your storage drive, might have to search for that one though.

I'm thinking about just preloding onto my ssd and then just playing the game from there, moving it to my storage afterwards.

the preload has to be saved on the c: drive? that's some bullshit

Yep. They have been adding features in earnest lately, but then not polishing them until much later.

You can't preload and then move it and Steam will unlock it even if it's not on C:?

Yea I think I'll just go the C route. I'll move it to storage afterward. Thanks.

Pre-loading now

Saw this when I exited out of CS, so good .gif

First Platinum game and first Metal Gear game on Steam. I'm so ready for more of both.

On my connection this might not even be downloaded by the 9th :(

pls devs, make high quality cutscenes optional. I could just Youtube them for christ sake.

Is it 24 gigs because of new textures or something?! Or do they have like super high quality cutscenes?

Lost Planet 3 did a good job by making high quality cutscenes separate for those that don't want them. I want them though so this file size doesn't bother me.

If I had to D/L this on release day I'd be pissed. I guess buying it through Steam directly was like paying a dollar extra for a pre-load.
