Having no idea what their ratings are supposed to represent makes the rankings useless IMO. Also, judging by their rating of Decastro in the Lions game the level of talent across from them means nothing.

I've bitched about this before but the biggest mistake made by evaluations like this is context.

Football as a game is so much more dependent on all 11 guys on the field than a simple 1-on-1 matchup like hitting statistics in baseball.

On top of that, the offensive line and secondary are the two position groups that are much more reliant on the guy next to you. Those guys don't play on an island 100% of the time. Sometimes the kicking guard trips or the TE does a poor job of chipping, or the T slides inside, etc. and the wrong guy is looking silly.

Picking up Louis Vasquez from the Chargers was almost as big as picking up Welker. No sacks allowed. Only one penalty if I recall correctly. Exactly as good as advertised.

This is also without all star right tackle Ryan Clady all year who was injured.

Clady's a LT, brah. Know your own team.

In the toughest division in the league, too. If we were in just about any other division, we would have been in. What I love about how brutal our division is now is that anyone that makes it to the post season is a legit contender. We'll be better next year and our divisional games are going to be so fun to watch.



I know Wonder if we'll throw money at Albert now that the LT pool isn't so large anymore. If we miss out at LT we'll either snag Ebron or one of the top 2 CBs if we don't move back.

Per dolphins sources Albert is expecting a 9 million per year 25 guaranteed contract, of course I don't know how accurate they would be considering he's not on the dolphins, I hope miami spends at least the first 3 picks on linemen, hell I'm ok with trading down from the first and picking up an extra linemen with that pick.

Only games I played to completion from last year were BioShock Infinite and Fire Emblem: Awakening. Made decent progress in GTA V, but should play more. Haven't got in nearly as much Rayman Legends as I probably should have. Also I only played the first hour or so of The Last of Us. Still need to start SMT IV and ALBW, but I'm pretty confident I'll enjoy both.

Here's PFF's grading criteria. They emphasize the result of the play, and the conditions that it resulted in.

Keeping that in mind it's no surprise that Manning's o-line came in 1st - QB play seems to be inconsequential to individual o-line gradings outside of the result.

Again, any team that makes it to the playoffs in our division is a contender and not going to get stomped on. That's close to what I figured he'd want and why I prefer getting ours in the draft. Given the now lack of high level talent entering the draft at the position, you never know how things will shake.

Greg, you should check out Sound Shapes. It's a platformer with a really cool level editor that lets you make your own songs/levels. I spent so much time messing around in that editor, it's great.
