I legitimately don't give a shit how it runs, if I am going to play it it will be on PC anyway
with Ray Reconstruction I'll definitely get a better looking game than even the Pro version as well.

I mean the 3060ti has the power of a 2080 Super, along with better RT cores. You will def get a better experience than the consoles, probably the Pro too due to nvidia RT cores.I legitimately don't give a shit how it runs, if I am going to play it it will be on PC anywayas I'll most likely get a better experience there even on my crusty old 3060ti

What he's saying isnt out of the realms of possibility. In fact we already had a couple of games that actually ran slightly worse on the Pro than the base console. One of them pretty recently to.So it's just your wishful thinking that the game would run worse on PS5 Pro
That's another level of copium even more pathetic![]()

I think you know why.Why PC players are so obsessed with how the game will run on PS5/Xbox Series is beyond me.
I hope it runs well in all systems.

but I feel so sorry for all the people who won't be able to play this with Ray Reconstruction![]()
Every single videos, every single screen shots of Crimson Desert thus far had been WITHOUT the Ray Reconstruction,
and PS5 PRO users will be more than happy to play just that at 4K 60![]()
weeeeell... that's not true is it?
there's a whole ass Digital Foundry video showing the Ray Reconstruction difference, and the difference is massive at times.
the game uses an insanely low ray count, and a "dumb" denoiser can only do so much to create a cohesive looking result with that. while an ML denoiser like DLSS RR can not only fill gaps intelligently, but also determine good samples more intelligently.
sure, it looks fine, but the difference we have seen is pretty damn big at times.
except that recent video from DF of course duh

Sure, the difference is massive, but is it for better?
the contrast seems way off with so much black crush destroying details making things looks unnatural
to my eyes, it looks completely broken and will make my eyes bleed lol.
People had been rooting for hours of CD videos that were not 'ray recontructed' for the past few years,
and now they suddenly all think that this short new video looks better than what they've seen before because DF's renowned pc fanboy Alex told you so![]()
Yeah definitely looks like you are losing details in darker areas with the Nvidia ray reconstruction. Or someone went heavy on gamma slider or something like that.except that recent video from DF of course duh

You know the line moves forward everytime the console reach another milestone, you know what's funny? On Pro you are better than 90% of them PC folks, but it will never enough.. hell some of those people are still playing sub 1080p to keep the framerate stable.
Tell you what, you enjoy your black crushed PC version with ray reconstruction and we'll make do with the slumlord PS5 Pro versionit's almost like something that's in shadow is dark... and if that shadow is missing it's not as dark!

They can't stay in their lane, they have to invade every thread that's positive about the PS5/Pro.I don't care what they play on their pc. I just want what I saw on the trailers at 4K 60 on my PS5 PRO.

PS5 pro is the best choice if sticking with consoles. The pc master race have their own thread to jerk off in but cant help themselves here.A work friend asked me why I got it on the pro and not the series x.
I just assumed the specs were better….
4K/30I don't care what they play on their pc. I just want what I saw on the trailers at 4K 60 on my PS5 PRO.
4K/30
The 1440p/40 option might be a good option and things should improve with PSSR2.
GLNo thanks, I'll play with the performance mode at 4K 60![]()
1080p![]()
GL What?
it will look 4K on my 65" OLED TV, and that's fantastic![]()
That's true, but some of the areas are indeed too dark. I'm not sure what's happening with this game. Seems to be completely missing AO on consoles, but on PC, some shadows are far too dark.it's almost like something that's in shadow is dark... and if that shadow is missing it's not as dark!

If you turn on motion interpolation, it'll also feel like 120fps.

I'm not into fake frames, so no thanks![]()
Ok, you draw the line at 1080p looking like 4K on 65 inch displays. Good to know.![]()
If you squint while playing rightit will look 4K on my 65" OLED TV, and that's fantastic![]()
But the CPU in base and Pro is almost the same, isn't it?The PS5 version will be fine. We can just extrapolate from the PS5 Pro version that already looks good with a solid IQ. It won't look like shit, you have nothing to worry about.
The big question is how well performance holds up when things get hectic, because it seems that this game has a lot going on at once, so the CPU might be taxed a lot.
What AI upscaler? If you are referring to the inbuilt stuff TVs have, they are hardly the same as DLSS or PSSR. It can maybe enhance a few details, but the effect is far off from a native 4k image.1080p looking like 4K due to the power of AI upscaler duh~ lol
except that recent video from DF of course duh

He's talking about PSSR upscaling 1080p to 4K in Performance mode. What AI upscaler? If you are referring to the inbuilt stuff TVs have, they are hardly the same as DLSS or PSSR. It can maybe enhance a few details, but the effect is far off from a native 4k image.
