Oh Rick... The thirst is real.
Noah's community was in/near Richmond, VirginiaSo I know the whole thing with the W has been alluded to since back at Noah's hometown. But what I don't get is, wasn't his town before the mini timeskip/trip to DC? If his town was right after the Atlanta hospital thing, then am I supposed to believe the people that are carving the W's either followed them all the way to Alexandria or are just a really big group in the Southeast? I feel like I'm missing something.

I want Yvette, Jericho, and Punk one week.
Can some spoil the episode for me? I'm out of the country.
why has there been zero Abraham in this town scenario?

Did you miss the whole "Abraham stepping up and taking over construction" from last episode?why has there been zero Abraham in this town scenario?
Makes perfect senseaaand this show is back to being stupid. it had a good 4 episode run though
michonne whacking rick was dumb as fuck
He was in last weeks episode working on wall construction.
And in this episode Rosita mentioned he was in the guard tower on lookout duty while Sasha was out roaming the woods.

why does everyone cry about noah when they knew him for like 3 days yet everyone forgot about tyreese after 10 minutes
another strange thing about the alexandria episodes. some of the cast just completely disappears. don't understand why they can't just have some of them appear as background characters

Makes perfect sense
- She's a constable of the town and Rick was a threat to the town's safety at the moment.
- She didn't know about Rick and Carol's plans
- She's been challenging Rick this half season and the one with the strongest conviction for finding a place to settle down and live
He knocked his own son away moments ago and was waving a gun around like a crazy person. He wasn't exactly in a mood to listen to reason. Not really. It was out of character and comical. Michonne was never really 'challenging' him either - she even says something along of the lines that Rick is still right even though he was wrong about Alexandria. I get that he was a threat to the town's safety but the scene was badly shot imo, like have her say something first at least.
damn.... Rick was about to channel Denzel in Training Day
Only issue I have with the last scene is the fact that they weren't even talking about the issue at hand.
Like....does the rest of the town know he was beating his family, basically?
This show has always struggled with that.why does everyone cry about noah when they knew him for like 3 days yet everyone forgot about tyreese after 10 minutes
Noah died less than a day before. Tyresse has been dead for a week/weeks. It's pretty understandable why the reaction to Noah's death would be more pronounced in this episodeThis show has always struggled with that.
Maggie and Beth is another example. It was like Maggie never had a sister at times.
just like operation [r e d a c t e d]Rick wanting to kill him was illogical as well.
No one likes to think rationally or have ~actual~ conversations on this show. Rick wanting to kill him was illogical as well.
I think most of the town knows he was hitting her, but was looking the other way because he's a surgeon. That was what I got from Deanna.
I don't think those 4 graves included Noah and Aiden. Doubt the group had time to go back and collect whatever was left after the walkers were done
True. Forgot about that. Yeah, that makes more senseThis is my guess too. They'll probably clarify as much in the finale.
lol I really doubt they would go back and try to recover any of whatever's left of Aiden and Noah. You can have a grave without a body, you know. Besides, that scene would've made no sense if Deanna was sitting there looking sorrowful over anybody else. She had her entire family before the last episode.
another thing that was silly was the purposeful absence of Maggie this episode. If Maggie was in the episode, she could have told Rick and Carol about Gabriel, which would have hopefully steered Rick away from pulling this scene; as he would have known Diana already didn't trust them. having this episode be Rick taking care of Gabriel rather than Pete would have made much more sense than this forced mess

Again, you are in the mindset of a logical man.
Rick Grimes doesn't give a fuck.
I'm in the mindset that they purposely decided to forget Maggie and Gabriel existed this episode so they could pull off this stunt. That's really all there is to it.
Carol with that approval smirk
Where are they getting power from? You would think nothing but generators would be available and working. Maybe solar power cells? Either way you would think they wouldn't waste it on a CD player.
Solar panels. They explained it a few episodes ago.

And Maggie said she thought her sister was dead, which kind of explains why she hadn't been looking for her on the road to Terminus.
Well, that speech basically spoiled any chance Rick had at some prime AHS booty.
