So I know the whole thing with the W has been alluded to since back at Noah's hometown. But what I don't get is, wasn't his town before the mini timeskip/trip to DC? If his town was right after the Atlanta hospital thing, then am I supposed to believe the people that are carving the W's either followed them all the way to Alexandria or are just a really big group in the Southeast? I feel like I'm missing something.
Noah's community was in/near Richmond, Virginia

I want Yvette, Jericho, and Punk one week.

Fastest way to get me to change the channel that isn't "Comic Book Men."

Reason why I changed the channel despite Chandler's first appearance on the show. Last Week with Eugene, Noah, and Glenn was far better.

Can some spoil the episode for me? I'm out of the country.

Just wait till next week. They'll do all the episodes as a marathon and the last one will be right before the 1 and a half finale for the season.

aaand this show is back to being stupid. it had a good 4 episode run though

michonne whacking rick was dumb as fuck

why does everyone cry about noah when they knew him for like 3 days yet everyone forgot about tyreese after 10 minutes

why has there been zero Abraham in this town scenario?

another strange thing about the alexandria episodes. some of the cast just completely disappears. don't understand why they can't just have some of them appear as background characters

Did you miss the whole "Abraham stepping up and taking over construction" from last episode?

Makes perfect sense
- She's a constable of the town and Rick was a threat to the town's safety at the moment.
- She didn't know about Rick and Carol's plans
- She's been challenging Rick this half season and the one with the strongest conviction for finding a place to settle down and live

He was in last weeks episode working on wall construction.

And in this episode Rosita mentioned he was in the guard tower on lookout duty while Sasha was out roaming the woods.

doesn't explain Gabriel being missing for two episodes with not even a mention of him.

think he was gone from this episode too

1. Michonne wacked Rick because he was being a loon. And she probably doesn't want to get kicked out because Rick is going full Shane.

2. This is literally the first episode post Noah death. Of course they are going to talk about it. Did you see episode 10? They were miserable as fuck for the entire episode post Tyreese.

Michone hitting rick wasnt dumb, she know what he is saying is the truth but he was jeopardizing their stay and didnt want to take that risk.

Ty death happenes weeks ago (in the show) the group mourn and moved on cause thats what you do in that world and Sasha is grieving through her own way. And Noah death is fresh as it just happened.

Just because you can't follow simple ques and plot doesnt make the show stupid friend

Best penultimate episodes since "Better Angels". I'd probably rank it Better Angels > This Sorrowful Life = Try

- Fuck Nicholas, man. Wow. FUCK. HIM. I have never wanted anyone on this show anymore dead than I want Nicholas in the fucking ground right now. I knew he would lie to Deanna but wow he really didn't hold back with the bullshit.
- "Keeping walking." says Rick as he eyefucks you with half his face covered in shadow in the middle of the night. I would've shit myself. D:
- 4 graves, with two being Noah and Aiden... the other 2? hmmmm
- Glenn putting Nicholas in his damn place. "I'm saving you."
- Is it wrong that I thought the scene with Carl and Enid in the hollowed out tree was hot? Please don't report me. lol
- NICHOLAS WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK RICK'S STASHED GUN THAT SON OF A BITCH
- Sasha in full YOLO mode... but that precious ammo. Sasha pls ;_;
- Great little performance by Sonequa Martin-Green when Sasha is confronted by Michonne and Rosita. I completely forgot about that scene several episodes back where she told Noah that he was gonna be dead. Nice little touch.
- Wow, these "W"olves are beyond brutal. They dismembered a guy while it looks like he was seemingly still alive and tied up a woman after stripping her of her clothes to be devoured by walkers..................
- The actor who plays Pete does such a magnificent job at playing the deadbeat, sleezeball. I just love hate him. DAT BRAWL
- Rick preaching and Michonne realized these morons aren't ready to hear the truth. dat knockout punch

(Comic Spoilers)
I really wonder if there is any significance to those other two graves. Obviously one of them in the comic belongs to Alexander. Should be interesting to see if they go into it. Also, does anybody else love the way Gimple handled the Peter Anderson situation on the show? In the comic, Rick just instantly went batshit insane on him and it felt more like he was the villain that ultimately led to Pete's death. The little extra details on the show like Carol's relationship with Sam and Rick actually trying to adapt to Alexandria for a reasonable amount of time was just so much more believable for me. So the Wolves seem to be doubling as the scavengers. They've gotta be. I couldn't think of a better ending than Rick and crew totally annihilating these guys just as Deanna is considering throwing them out and Rick rising as leader of Alexandria to cap of the Season 5 finale. Although... the Wolves just feel like they're a much greater threat that the scavengers. Gimple could definitely be taking us for a ride with this one.

Chandler Riggs is ROCKIN' that jacket.

Not really. It was out of character and comical. Michonne was never really 'challenging' him either - she even says something along of the lines that Rick is still right even though he was wrong about Alexandria. I get that he was a threat to the town's safety but the scene was badly shot imo, like have her say something first at least. Well there was bad pacing all over the episode too though.

He knocked his own son away moments ago and was waving a gun around like a crazy person. He wasn't exactly in a mood to listen to reason.

Only issue I have with the last scene is the fact that they weren't even talking about the issue at hand.

Like....does the rest of the town know he was beating his family, basically?

Seems like important information, plus Rick could have used it to get other people on his side.

But nope, gotta go with the more melodramatic approach without any real progression involving the real issue at hand.

Yvette is so awesome. One of my favorite fans to listen to talking about the show. She needs to permanently co-host Talking Dead with Hardwick. Bring back that wrestler guy too.

No one likes to think rationally or have ~actual~ conversations on this show. Rick wanting to kill him was illogical as well.

I don't think those 4 graves included Noah and Aiden. Doubt the group had time to go back and collect whatever was left after the walkers were done

This show has always struggled with that.

Maggie and Beth is another example. It was like Maggie never had a sister at times.
Noah died less than a day before. Tyresse has been dead for a week/weeks. It's pretty understandable why the reaction to Noah's death would be more pronounced in this episode

And Maggie said she thought her sister was dead, which kind of explains why she hadn't been looking for her on the road to Terminus.

I see what people are saying, but we have been following Rick. We know him. We know that he is in the right, most of the time anyways. The people of Alexandria barely know him. If you barely know a guy, see this...

And hear him ranting about he is basically taking over, nothing he says will make you think he is right.

Not really. Rick is a fucking mad man. He has killed people for less than this. So it may make illogical sense in your eyes, but not in the eyes of the show.

I think most of the town knows he was hitting her, but was looking the other way because he's a surgeon. That was what I got from Deanna.

This is my guess too. They'll probably clarify as much in the finale.

lol I really doubt they would go back and try to recover any of whatever's left of Aiden and Noah. You can have a grave without a body, you know. Besides, that scene would've made no sense if Deanna was sitting there looking sorrowful over anybody else. She had her entire family before the last episode.

True. Forgot about that. Yeah, that makes more sense

another thing that was silly was the purposeful absence of Maggie this episode. If Maggie was in the episode, she could have told Rick and Carol about Gabriel, which would have hopefully steered Rick away from pulling this scene; as he would have known Diana already didn't trust them. having this episode be Rick taking care of Gabriel rather than Pete would have made much more sense than this forced mess. sloppy sloppy writing they really don't think highly of their viewers

This show has done a reversal that's brilliant -

Before there was a sublayer of good things during the bad things.

Now there's a sublayer of bad things during the good things.

It's going from a constant wish for something good to happen to the constant fear something bad is going to happen. The tension and suspense is amazing right now.

Again, you are in the mindset of a logical man.

Rick Grimes doesn't give a fuck.

This. I was waiting for this the whole episode.

Where are they getting power from? You would think nothing but generators would be available and working. Maybe solar power cells? Either way you would think they wouldn't waste it on a CD player.

The whole point of the run last episode was to get equipment to fix their solar electricity setup.

The four graves are obviously for the four people Aiden and Nicholas were talking about having lost in a previous run.
