The Walking Dead star Seth Gilliam was arrested Sunday morning in Peachtree City, Ga., The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

According to the police report, the actor, who plays a priest named Gabriel on the hit AMC series, was pulled over just after 2 a.m. when an officer clocked him going 107 mph in a 55 mph zone.

The officer claims he smelled booze and asked Gilliam if he had been drinking. Gilliam allegedly admitted to having had three beers and a shot, and registered a 0.107 blood-alcohol level. According to the report, the officer also detected the smell of marijuana and found a joint in the actor's car.

Gilliam, who has recurred on The Good Wife and Teen Wolf and appeared in the 2014 film Still Alice, was charged with speeding, reckless driving, DUI and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was booked and released.

Production on season six of The Walking Dead began this week in Atlanta. AMC declined to comment on whether Gilliam's arrest will impact production on the new season of the zombie drama.

Hopefully the spinoff is good so the wait for season 6 isn't so bad.

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything

Yeah he's great. Pretty much the main reason I still watch.

Halt and Catch Fire will run on Sundays from May 31 - August 2 and Humans will begin sometime in June, possibly airing on Mondays. (although their new mob docu series is airing on Mondays in their usual 10pm time slot, so...)

That doesn't leave a whole lot of room on their schedule for Fear the Walking Dead (horrible title, AMC sux, etc. etc.) until later in the year - unless AMC wants to run two shows back to back, which is something that they appear to be moving away from.

AMC likes having two shows on at any given time, throughout the whole year, so I'm thinking it will look something like this:

Winter/early spring:

The Walking Dead
Better Call Saul

Spring:

Mad Men
Turn: Washington's Spies

Early summer:

Halt and Catch Fire
Humans
(+ their mob docu series, which is like: whatever)

Late summer:

Hell on Wheels
Fear the Walking Dead

Fall:

The Walking Dead
Enter the Badlands

I would be surprised if Fear the Walking Dead premiered before August.

I only remembered that movie lol after I found out he was and was looking up his wiki...I was like
wee-bey-oh-shit.gif

plus after like season 3 lol he looks nothing like that really... plus I watched all 4 seasons like really quickly lol was sad that s1 was only 6 eps but even though s2 had some fucking insanely annoying choices the characters made. I pressed on and at the end of s2 I was hooked.... but still he does a fantastic accent.

What's this Humans shit anyway. Never really read anything about it.

A UK-US remake of a Swedish sci-fi series involving androids, from Channel 4 (UK) and the now defunct Xbox Entertainment Studios (US). When XES folded, AMC stepped in as the US partner to Channel 4.

XES' level of involvement in the show's development is uncertain and I'm not sure how far along the season was before they dropped out, so it's unclear how involved AMC was in the whole process.

Hmm, I think I missed something, in S4 and Part 1 I got the feeling Michonne and Rick were going to get it on. What happened?
Felt like it came from left field when he had a "love at first sight" moment with that blonde chick. So what did I miss, or did I completely misinterpret Michonne/Rick interactions?

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.

Nothing. They have a "protect Carl at all costs" relationship right now. Mostly because Michonne's backstory fits Rick's.

Speaking of things:

(Comic Spoilers ahead) I really don't like how they handled Morgan's version of "Clear" in the TV show. In the comic Morgan
has gone insane due to seeing his son get bitten and keeps his son on a leash a la the Governor's daughter to remind him of this. He also feeds "four men, some dogs" in "self-defense" to his son.
I kinda wish AMC had the balls to have gone that route, even if Clear already was good on the TV show.

I do like how they made
the twins from that were girls in the TV show into boys in the comic, plus they made Carol's infamous "flowers" scene into Dales. Even made the zombie that the girl plays with into cats for maximum squick. "The kids love it-- they still haven't stopped playing with the cats that live in the barn."
Except by the end of the six book, that infamous scene doesn't happen. I guess book 7 is when that scene will be triggered maybe. Play it out a little slower?

I think it worked because they needed him to come out on the other side of his trauma as a much different character than in the comics, because people had hyped up Lennie James so much that everyone would have been disappointed with a
Legit Shook Morgan.

Hm?

New cast member revealed

AMC's The Walking Dead has cast Corey Hawkins, the star of NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton, to play a key comic book character, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

In the exclusive first look above, Hawkins — who will recur — makes his debut as
Heath, a key member of the Alexandria Safe Zone.

New casting info via Ausiello:

Question: Anything on Season 6 of The Walking Dead? —Gerry

Ausiello: Yup. I think I may already be able to reveal the first casualty of the season:
new guy Kirk’s innocence. Casting intel describes the mid-twentysomething married man — as yet uncast — as a Mr. Nice Guy who, over and over, gets the same message from cruel fate: Do unto others before they can do unto you. And since whoever’s hired for the recurring role has to be available for future seasons — but there’s no such requirement placed on the actresses vying for the part of his wife, Hilda — it seems safe to speculate that losing the missus will eventually push him over the edge. Or am I reaching here?

Finally finished season 5 today. Man, this show has come a long way for me.

What a nice season and a fantastic finally. The suspense was pretty well done in this particular season.

Entertainment Weekly - The Walking Dead: Showrunner Scott M. Gimple promises 'multiple threats' in season 6

How prominent a role are the Wolves going to play in season 6?

SCOTT M. GIMPLE: Is it season 6, season 7, season 8? I’ll tell you, I don’t know if I’d be as completely direct as to have the first thing we do when we pick up season 6, is to jump into anything with the Wolves. I wouldn’t probably do that. I don’t think we would do that.

Are you saying this could be a longer play than the Terminus situation?

I think there’s some parallels to the Terminus situation. I hope, whatever happens with them, I hope people aren’t expecting it.

...

Should we assume, then, that there are some other threats in season 6 in addition to the Wolves?

There are multiple threats, even in the first half of the season. And sort of different versions of threats we’ve seen before. The first three episodes are quite intense, and the cast and crew are — we just shot them out of a cannon directly into another cannon that we shot them out of again. The first three episodes are — we say every year, “Ah, it’s so crazy” and everything, and it has been crazy — but the first three episodes this year and the things that we’re doing are very big and very difficult, and we’re pushing people hard, and in some ways I think we’re going to be pushing the audience hard. I’m pretty excited and terrified about it.

Gimple trolling with the ambiguity in this interview.

With that said, first 3 eps sound HYPE!
