So TNA and WWE are gonna start the decade off by taking us back to the 90's? Everything that's old is new again, I suppose. Either way, I'm in to watch.

Saw this on Chris Kanyon's Wiki page.

Yeah, it's a Wiki, but it's interesting nontheless.

In October 2006, Kanyon joined Tha O Show as a regular columnist. On one edition of the show, he claimed that Bret Hart indirectly admitted to him that Hart, Vince McMahon, and Pat Patterson were all in on the Montreal Screwjob.

Oh my God this .gif has way too much potential :lol

BLARGH! No replay of TNA right after it ends like Nitro used to do! There is no way my wife will allow me to DVR both shows at once. I am both angered and confused by this decision made by Spike TV.

Also, Maryse is hot.

I think TNA is going to show the Monday episode on Thursday also.

IGN has a really awesome interview with Hogan up. Saying all the right things... he says he's not going to wrestle but will be the Vince McMahon of TNA as far as changing things creatively & production/promotion-wise. Says he wants to make AJ Styles into a guy people recognize in the airports like Flair or Hogan in a year.

TNA's show this week replays Thursday Night from 9-12 (the usual Impact time slot + a hour)

Awesome, thanks guys! Our dvr won't allow you to watch live tv while recording 2 things at once....and Mrs. Deathstomp is not exactly a big wrestling fan.

I would encourage every wrestling fan to turn into atleast the first hour of TNA on Monday night. If they get a big enough rating they'll go live every Monday.

I think I figured out how to fix Raw:

Maryse needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine. Whenever Maryse is not onscreen, all the other characters should be asking "Where's Maryse"?

Hogan: Brother, that's the brilliant question. And you know what – and I don't mean this in tongue in cheek way - but it's like deja vu. When I walked in to WCW they were producing wrestling on a little teeny sound stage at Disney, okay? I'm walking into TNA and their producing wrestling in a little teeny sound stage at Universal. When I walked in to WCW, the WWF was the monster. They were the monopoly. I'm walking into TNA and the WWE is the monster. The monopoly. There were no choices back when I did WCW. The fans didn't have a choice. It's the same way now. It's almost like history is repeating itself and giving me another chance to do this and show the wrestling world what wrestling should be like. Not to make wrestling like it used to be, but to show that John Cena shouldn't be the only guy with life and character. Thinking more about it – it's exactly the same, man. It's scary. It's happening all over again. The only difference now I guess is that when I left before and went to WCW the fans were mad at me. "Oh, how could you leave the WWF?" The fans were kind of pissed at me. This time the vibe is that the fans are with me. They're for me and they want to see this happen. They know that competition is good and that the best time in wrestling was the Monday Night Wars back in the day.

Good to see that Hogan sees the similarities between TNA and WCW. Hopefully, he doesn't burn out their candle as quickly.

Would watch this, and pay for PPVs multiple times

As awesome as seeing Bret Hart on WWE tv will be, I think we all know it won't match up to Bret KikuHart vs Shawn Antonio Michaels;

I'm excited. I hope we get another Monday Night War, even if TNA doesn't have the Turner money backing it, I hope they can steal talent and differentiate themselves enough from WWE that people start switching over. THEN things will get good.

Another Monday night war would be great, but I'm just not sure with Hogan running the show. I heard he wants to get rid of the six sided ring which I fully agree with, it really serves no purpose at least to the fans. I'm just worried he'll end up running it into the ground, I guess we'll find out pretty quick come Monday. I would think very few fans wouldn't welcome a war on Monday nights, and I'm sure Bischoff watched closely at everything from scheduling to production during his stint in WWE.

If they push Samoa Joe though.....I just can't take that guy seriously.

I would be looking forward to Bret Hart returning but he seems like a shadow of himself. He seems bitter, cranky, and unmotivated when it comes to wrestling. He really looks bitter just in that picture shown, he doesn't have any type of fire to put on a show. If Goldberg hadn't knocked his block off he probably would have had at least a few more good years in the business after WCW folded.

At the end of the night I'll be recording both programs, it should be very interesting to see how the dynamic of Russo, Hogan, and Bischoff will work since there were major issues there in the past.

So watching the Smackdown Beat the Clock challenge, and this fixed one of the major flaws I've always had with these matches.

Is they always painted it to make it seem like one person had to win in a match, why wouldn't both competitors be vying for a shot at the title?

But this fixed it by having most everyone be in the hunt to win.

I think the idea was always supposed to work like that but the fact that until pretty recently both Raw and SD had large gaps between midcard and main event that kept it from fully working.

Ok I gotta take issue with a couple things you have there.

The 6 sided ring serves a few purposes.
Firstly, it's a noticable difference from the competition.

Secondly, it serves a BIG purpose to the performers. The ropes (or cables in this case) are MUCH tighter, there's more points to set up spots, as well as some more square footage to work with.

It shouldnt be eliminated just because an immobile Hogan doesn't like it. It's not his call.

You can't take Samoa Joe seriously?!? WTF man.
The guy's a legit badass and a HELL of a wrestler. The guy can do 2 minute squashes or 60 minute iron man matches or technical submission-fests with ease. He's one of the most versatile talents out there.

Don't judge him because of the stupid gimmick he got saddled with. They wanted to try something and it failed, so it looks like they are going back to what worked. The no-nonsense, ass kicking Samoan.

Let me guess, it's because he doesn't look like your typical roid head that you've become accustomed to??
