Top 10 Kanye songs: Runaway, On Sight, Blood on The Leaves, Street Lights, Stronger, Flashing Lights, Touch The Sky, Hey Mama, Roses, Lost in The World
This is a damn good top 10 list. Very close to what mine would be, except I'd swap Flashing Lights for ULB and Hey Mama for something like Say You Will or Only One.
Maybe I have more of a bias towards MBDTF because I was at Kanye's set at Coachella in 2011, which featured most of the songs from MBDTF, but the discussion about it and its tracks ITT really solidifies its place as my favourite Kanye album, and definitely one of my all time favourites. Every song is so good, like how every scene in Goodfellas is good.
MBDTF is a masterpiece but Yeezus is more replayable, the songs are punchier and often shorter, but still full of detailed production that makes you want to hear them again and again
When the guitar solo drops out and Rick Ross comes in with "Iookin at my bitch I bet she give your ass a bone. lookin at my wrist and it'd turn your ass to stone"
Edit: We Can Make it Better the most underrated Kanye song. So many Fire verses and the way the beat progresses is insane.

Foregrounds an exceptionally strong sample, and somehow transmutes it into a dull, passionless trudge of a track.
Kanye has shown plenty of times he can take a fragment of a prior composition and completely make it his own. Stronger is just him fucking up someone else's song, and I don't care if he had their blessing in doing so.
on the bathroom wall I wrote "I'd rather argue with you than to be with someone else"
I took a piss and dismissed it like "fuck it" and I went and found somebody else
fuck arguing and harvesting my feelings I'd rather be by my fucking self
till about 2am and I call back and I hang up and I start to blame myself
That line brings back memories. Some people at my school were having an afterschool ice cream sale, including Klondike bars, and promoted it on the school intercom, and the announcement ended with the line "I'll do anything for a blonde dyke" from Stronger, with some dude shouting KLONDIKE over blonde dyke.
Safe to say, they weren't allowed on the intercom after that.
Apparently, it's a collab between Kanye, Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, Rhymefest and Common that was a bonus track on Late Registration that I also did not even know existed.

It's dope! I've listened to it too many times to count, it's one of my favourite songs off LR. It was only on the UK version IIRC. Kanye and a bunch of conscious rappers trading bars over an insane beat. Q-Tip sounds so good on it.
Stronger is absolutely amazing. It was so much fun to track the song from the first mention to finally being officially released (and then being mixed again even after that). He performed an abridged version at a concert in Malaysia (with a verse that he ended up cutting completely) in March or April. A video was posted to YouTube by an attendee and quickly blew up among us crazy Kanye fans. We wanted the song badly, but there was no news on when it would drop. A video popped up of Kanye's tour DJ A-Trak playing a part of it during a show. It was becoming cruel. All we had was cell phone footage circa early 2007 (pre-iPhone). To tide people over while he finished up the album, Kanye released a mixtape in late May. It included a snippet of the beginning of the song. For whatever reason, people started thinking that the full thing would leak on June 1st. There was no source pointing to this, just wishful thinking. So June 1st comes around and what happens? It leaks from Marc Ronson's podcast because Yeezy Season is crazy.
The original version of the song leaked, with the completely different first verse, but now I can't find it. It has been scrubbed from the net
P.S. The Britney Spears song is great too.
When the fast life takes its toll
That act right makes everything slow
Them black lights make everything glow
One of those nights where everything goes
Kanye had a listening party in the UK for Graduation about a month before it came out. He had been teasing Good Life in interviews and even played a snippet of it at a concert. The internet had started to go nutty with anticipation. At the listening party, Ye told the crowd he'd "leak" the song they liked the best. They chose Barry Bonds. I will never forgive anybody at that party.
Praise be to Entourage for finally giving the public a direct feed taste of Good Life. I STILL have the snippet in my iTunes library. I believe it's our only peek into the song before Timbo redid the drums.
Fantastic song, I've actually been jamming to it lately. It's not even like the second best song off Graduation either. What a great album. Not as good as the Daft Punk original, but what is?
I wish that "Bitch Please" track that was played somewhere in like 2016 saw the light of day. It was exactly what I wanted from post-Yeezus Ye (TLOP is still a classic tho)
I first heard "Stronger" at a dorky middle school dance. That song changed my life because it introduced me to Daft Punk and "Alive 2007" and basically helped me get into music in the first place. I consider it a top 10 track of his discography, because it's a damn flawless blend of techno, hip-hop, and pop sensibility that's catchy as hell. It's a perfect club banger. So, talk about your memories with this song.

I can't really believe what I'm reading, especially considering your Jai Paul avatar... I absolutely love Kanye but Stronger is quite possibly the worst track he has ever made by quite the margin and one of the worst singles of the entire 21st century so far, if I'm being honest. Why is this turd being celebrated? Oo
