All 100 are Here

Pretty good list imo, but I would switch 2 and 9 though. What say you, gaf?

I agree with only one selection: A Tribe Called Quest - Scenario

And before people say I have bad taste, just remember this is about best hip-hop beats, not songs. For example, replace NY State of Mind with Life's a Bitch ft. AZ and you can see where I'm coming from.

I was looking for Danger by Blahzay Blahzay and Night Of The Living Baseheads by Public Enemy...but didn't see them. The majority of the songs chosen is OK

i dunno bout that top 10...the verses were hot as shit on All about the benjamins but the track...not top 10.

I like a lot of the groups in the top 10 so im not going to agree , i love a lot of songs by those guys. Seems like these are best and most memorable combined....no Dead Presidents in the top 10 is suspect tho...and im not even a big Jay fan but that was his best track for like 10 years lol.

I could have guessed half of the picks in the top ten before even entering this thread.

They're all good, but damn if they're not playing it safe.

I loathe this site. Navigating their lists are a chore. Is it bad I only know about 5 of the top 10 of the top of my head. Also what counts as a hip hop beat? Would something like Toto's Africa or Enya being sampled constantly count as a hip hop beat. Cos then it can get messy.

Edit: I give up can someone compile the list. This shit is too damn long and I just don't give enough of a flying fuck.

No Hit em Up or California Love in the top 100?

Well I'm biased anyway. Always love the music you party'd with the hardest most.

98-2004 beats were the best.
