As for hey arnold making it to the top 3 quality just rises to the top.
If you think that's why it made it to the top 3, then you haven't been paying attention.

You may be right about this, but strongly believe that it should not have the top spot locked up like the simpsons does with the 90's round. There is a lot I like about Avatar and I do believe it is one of the best of the '00s, but it is not as mature as some of the other shows that should make the list. I wont argue about it being a great show. It has a good story, the continuity is good, animation is great, likable characters, decent humor so it is really solid and a good contender, but it still has some strong contenders from the '00s. I guess this all depends on if we decide on only chidren's shows too.
Isn't that what the whole spirit of this thread was? Look at the list in the OP, it is heavily geared towards american childrens animated television shows. The only anime included are shows which had a broad appeal to children (dbz and pokemon). Correct me if I'm wrong.
Kill : Hey Arnold
Kill : Batman
Save : The Simpsons.
There's no other correct answer.
Was your manipulation just for Reboot?Kill: Hey Arnold
Kill: The Simpsons
Save: Batman
I actually watched Batman IN the 90s, as opposed to watching Simpsons S01-10 only in the last few years. That's pretty much why I'm picking Batman over Simpsons. Both are excellent in their own ways.
Hey Arnold is a good show, but it has long overstayed its welcome. I think the vast majority of voters don't really think it's a contender for the top 3 or top 5. Top 10 or 15? Sure. I contemplated offering random Gaffers actual bribes (couple of bucks, Steam games) to keep Reboot in this longer. Just for laughs. I think it would've been highly effective.
Is it possible Anihawk did such a thing with Hey Arnold? MAYBE.
Kill : Hey Arnold
Kill : Batman
Save : The Simpsons
Kill: Hey Arnold

Save: The Simpsons
Kill: Hey Arnold!

hey arnold stuck around mostly because other shows were gunned after harder. my only coup was against dexter's lab. with animaniacs it was down to whatever wasn't hey arnold so it was either that or rocko. at the very end, it was close, but there was no saving animaniacs (or killing arnold).
Kill: Hey Arnold! - I'm not a Nickelodeon kid, never was and never will be. And honestly I can't really understand why it's in the last 3
Kill: Batman The Animated Series - Loved this series as a kid but I just can't kill the Simpsons, they're family.
Save: TheSimpsons - Save me Jebus! (Actually, that's not from a classic 90's episode, but still).Classic
Read the new rules and added a save and second kill.
If I could make a suggestion for the 00s thread? Stop with all the rule changing. It makes it harder to follow, more confusing to participate in, and it cuts the tension and payoff if the rubric keeps sliding around.
If I knew I was going to get another save I wouldn't have been as excited or anxious to use my "only save" during the top ten earlier.
Kill: Hey Arnold

I said that you would only have one save until the final 3, then there would be a showdown between the final 3.Read the new rules and added a save and second kill.

It's like a Mexican Standoff.I'm confused by the new rule. Do we have to kill two shows? Or can we only kill one?
It's like a Mexican Standoff.
Kill 2 different shows and save 1.
It's always been an option.i thought that we had the opportunity to kill two shows, not that we must kill two shows.
Was your manipulation just for Reboot?
Right, You don't have to, but you always can.i thought that we had the opportunity to kill two shows, not that we must kill two shows.

I don't know what secret deals went down to keep Hey Arnold around (edit: apparently none), but I do know that the changes in voting rules have really helped keep it alive longer. The Arnold haters would've had enough double kill votes to get rid of it long ago.
