Free agency = quitting on your team now. Thats amazing.

You aren't going to convince anyone. They need a team to hate. Kobe being a rapist and the Lakers being bullies isn't exciting anymore. Let them have it, I would never begrudge them their right to hate a team. It feels good when you see a team you hate get beaten, its important for them to have that. I used to hate the Jazz, Lakers, and Bulls for those very reasons. If I had time to follow the NBA as closely as I used to I still would probably. So while I will roll my eyes and call out their bullshit on occasion, I not only accept that they will continue to hate the heat, I don't hold it against them either. I would still give them a ride to the liquor store if they asked.

Also ryutaro needs a hug

Ok, I'll say it again:

If you truly believe the reason people hate the Heat is because "they just wanna win championships" then basketball truly is 3rd (to you guys as whole, not just pimpwerx) and you're just as clueless as LeBron concerning the hate leveled at him.

So explain it to me, cause the answer is going to be Lebron is not a real winner cause he left to a team with a player as good as him to win championships. Plus he is egotistical which shouldn't be news to anyone. And we made a big deal about getting the big three, which who wouldn't. Its all superficial crap.

Yes and that team had a player named Lebron who quit on his team. That same Lebron now on the Heat. This isn't hard to understand.

Oh and besides that, the fact that the rules don't apply to them is another reason people hate them.

Alright so this conversation is pointless. :lol

Believe what you want.

wtf, who was hating on the heat tonight? :lol

Since when did this thread turn into The View?

I think some people feel like he gave up during the playoffs last year.

I hope see very closely how terrible the Cavs are this year compared to last year. Lebron tried his ass off and they couldn't get it done. He had a bunch of half assed role players.

The reasons why people hate the Heat are beyond idiotic. They are playing basketball just like everyone else, they are competing just like everyone else, they do nothing on the court that makes them villainous.

Hello Sir, glad to see you're alive.

People usually hate teams that are filled with stars because they aren't so lucky. The Yankees, Real Madrid, Barça all are testament to this. I really don't mind at all that we're hated so. Now if the Marlins land Greinke, the world may explode.

Who cares? This is the 305, and we're lucky to live in such a fantastic city. :D

That team fit him perfectly. Half-assed role players for a half-assed "star."

LeBron didn't just quit, he threw that series. Cavaliers would've easily crushed the Celtics if LeBron gave a shit.

:lol

So now Lebron purposely wanted to lose a playoff series? I've heard it all.

Yeah, he won 60+ games in B2B years all by himself.

Which is why the Heat are undefeated.

The amount of people who didn't watch the Bos/Cle series is becoming painfully obvious. smfh...

A team completely built around a player sucks when said player leaves the team?! Nice sleuthing Columbo!

If it was so perfect why do they suck ass now? And how can half-ass star win back to back MVPs and carry his team to over 60 wins 2 years straight, when without him they'll be lucky to win 35 games?

The Crimson Blur said:
Uuuh. No.
Did you even watch the games? :lol

Yeah I did. He tried to win. You telling me you honestly believe he tried to lose?

Brah, my team is 18-3, has won 4 championships, has had the greatest streak of 50+ win seasons in history, and has the 2nd highest win rate for any franchise in the association.

I don't hate the Heat because I am envious. Its because they're douchebags.

Practically. He was surrounded by one B player and a bunch of C role-players. Kobe had Artest and Pau, Pierce had KG & Allen yet Lebron STILL managed the best record in the NBA with ugh... Anthony Parker? :lol

I survived Sunday barely... :lol

I don't really care that people hate us, I just find it to be an interesting discussion.

But if Lebron sucks or is a half assed 'star' then they shouldn't miss him that much right?

I didn't say he did it all by himself. And why would any team be undefeated right now? No team is that good. It just seems like some people actually seem to think Lebron isn't that great of a player.

Yes, because A-Rod went on TV and blew up the Rangers and all of Texas before he went to NY. And before he left, he strung them along for 2 years and did not give two fucks during their playoff run.

Totally the same.

I like Miami as the bad guys, I really do, but goddamn Miami at least know what you're talking about. Fan up, etc.

I just don't understand the Lakers. Kobe scores 5 straight then he doesn't touch the ball again until Clipps go on a 9-1 run. Idiotic..

I believe he quit. He gave up. He was thinking of free agency while he was in the middle of a playoff game.

Everyone who watched the games agrees with me. Cleveland fans turned on him from that point forward.

Revisionist history is fun.

Again, which is why the Heat are undefeated this year.

Oh, I forgot.

He still has no help.

Well you're an exception, but it's well known that teams stacked with superstars are usually hated. Also, having lived in Texas, I know why you probably hate us. ;)

Sorry but Lebron did quit. I dont know if it was on purpose or not but what I saw in that game was a man not trying his hardest or not paying attention like he normally does.

Cleveland has every right to hate on him.

my problem with the haters is that their perception clouds reality, and its something that they'll never get- no sense arguing with them

Clearly there's only two sides to the spectrum.

How about he just didn't give a fuck anymore?

I like Lebron (as a player) and even I have to agree with this. I think he got halfway through the series and said "fuck this, I am tired of having a mediocre team backing me, and I am tired of this cold, gray, and miserable city." And then he half assed the rest of the series because fuck it, he was either going to Chicago, New York, or Miami in a few months.

Bitch move that makes him a bitch? yes, but still great fun to watch play

I don't see why this is so hard to do.

I can like Stephen Jackson on my team and still acknowledge that he's a dumbass and that Indiana has every right to shot obscenities at him nonstop. I'm not going to all of a sudden pretend a guy isn't a douchebag who punches fans and jacks up dumb shots at every chance just because he's on my favorite team.

Sure, if you don't care about basketball fundamentals or refined skills. So he's great for the Miami fanbase.

Yeah but that's because you're a fan of a team, not a circus.

LeBron has a worse record this year then he did last year at the same time with these "clowns" in Cleveland.

Again, I guess he has no help again.

Poor LeBron.

The same can be said for dick riders.

RT @nbadleague Antoine Walker helps Idaho Stampede get 1st win of season. Goes for 13 pts, 6 rbds, 3 assts in 26 mins of action.

:lol Good for him I guess.
