Shaun Livingston and Diop for Bynum

You're not getting Kwame, so don't even bother asking.

Uh no, both Ellis and Millsap had 46. Try doing a tiny bit of research, ESPN.
Roy also had 41 points against Denver last Christmas, and he did it on 6FTAs, too.

Harden had a really nice game as well, I'd be hypocritical not to mention. I give him tons of shit when he plays poorly, he deserves credit when he plays well too. 21 points.

Im starting to think Orlando is going to turn into a real monster as the team gels together.
On offense, they're going to be steamroll people but just a little bit of defense against them and they'll probably go back to the dumbassery of not passing Howard the ball.

I have never understood how that seems to be the first thing they stop doing.

I'm surprised more people don't hate Wall after his draft combine bullshit...

Miami got after it and more than deserved the win today.

Thanks to Magic though, we lost no ground on the Czzz.

All that needs to be said. 4-8 on Xmas.

Is it me or does Pau have issues with Z? I remember the same shit happening last year.

Blatche and McGee suspended for tomorrow's game in San Antonio. Apparently they got in a fight in a club or some shit :lol

(as if we needed any more advantages. might as well make our record 26-4 and skip the formality)

Ellis is a combination of Speed, Size and Skill.

Anyone see that commercial? NBA planned to take the Sonics to OKC all along.

It'd be a lot better if KD looked different than he does now...

great concept for a commercial though. I hope they make a lot more. The Amare one with the white guy sucks though. J-train?

Golden State needs to trade Monta while his trade value is this sky-high and while he's healthy.

bullshit. We saw today what can happen if we rely on Kobe and Pau to do everything offensively. I don't get this mantra with some Laker fans (really for the last couple of seasons) that the offense is fine and doens't need fixing and we need to get help on defense. The offense is not fine. We scored like 80 points today. And a lot of that is because teams can neutralize Kobe and Pau when they play good D. I can't for the life of me understand how any Laker fan wouldn't trade Drew for Melo in a fucking heartbeat. Shit I'd chip in gas money to send Drew to the airport. Not saying the trade is possible, but I'm just saying hypothetically, that shit is a no brainer.
If Pau and Kobe play like All-Pros the offense will be fine. Problem is that Kobe was busted when the season started and still isn't playing at his normal level and to compound the problem Pau is getting outplayed by pretty much every 7 foot scrub in the league. There is no addition, no trade, no change in strategy that can change that. They just have to work hard and start playing better. I assumed at the start of the season that they were going to work towards getting it together by the All Star Break and manage to keep pace just on the amount of talent we have, but that obviously isn't the case.

I am still not going to panic until after the ASG but I won't lie and say that I am not concerned. But honestly the NFL takes precedence and I won't really start paying attention until after the Steelers most likely win the Superbowl.

Also :lol @ Bynum for Melo. I love the idea of accumulating lots of players that play the same position!

Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said he had never seen a delay of game violation called in a game he coached. But Van Gundy also said Stu Jackson, the NBA's executive vice president of basketball operations, had recently warned the team about Howard taking too much time on free-throw attempts.

"We've had a couple of calls," Van Gundy said. "We've been told that the officials have been instructed to to call it."
That's hilarious. The NBA even went as far as warning Howard days before they called the violation on him.

Howard said he won't try to speed up his mental clock.

"What that does is force me to shoot it the wrong way," Howard said. "I might speed up a little bit, but I'm going to take my time. I have to remain patient and not get frustrated."
Maybe you're missing freethrows because you're taking too long to shoot them, and thus overthinking it? Hurrr.

Pau just seems like he's tired. Odom has been pretty consistent. Kobe's been up and down.
I see cracks, sure, but we proved we get our shit together when it counts.

Finally back from hosting my Christmas party. Hope everyone had a good holiday.

Great game for the Heat today, everyone in the room was smiling from ear to ear. Is there anyway to a replay online? My father missed most of it and he really wanted to see it.

Let's hope you are right. This team will ultimately be judged on whether they win another title or not.

But honestly dude fatigue can't explain all of Pau's stank. I saw him get outplayed by Spencer Hawes in person. That should never happen to anyone, let alone an All Star.

Yea, I have no real answer for some of these guys. Hibbert? Ok. Hawes? gtfo with that.

So we'll see, we're in "dont give a fuck" mode. THis will probably be another year where we don't take the West, but win anyway.

Just have to make sure the C's somehow don't end up with more.

I always love how the conclusion for you is always the Lakers winning it all in the end - no matter what. Like there's no possible chance they won't win it or possibly even not make the Finals?

Until proven otherwise, yes.

I get why it might be hard for you to understand, being garbage year in and out.

The difference with the Lakers this year is that they not only look like a long shot for 1st seed in the west...they look like 3rd seed or worse...and whats worse than that is that they stand a good chance of having a worse record than the Celtics.

It didn't matter as much against the year against the Magic but the following year against Boston surely would have ended in doom without HCA.

I still find it hard to take the Spurs seriously though...swept by the Suns? Really? And weren't they basically healthy?

That shit is suspect as hell.
