Heat fans will probably always love Haslem more than Bosh but if you think Bosh isn't better by a mile then you crazy. Bosh might not have some of the tough guy genes a lot of power forwards have and I've pretty much hated him all year but lately he is playing more physical lately and that's been good to see. Need to see it in May and June though.

There is no way anyone believes Haslem is just as good as Bosh. I don't understand why people even tried to argue with DY_nasty, there is no rationale for this kind of thinking. He'll come out "hey i trolled you" in a couple of days and people will feel just as stupid as his arguments were. I like Haslem just fine, I remember when he played for Chalon sur Saone... But he's in no way even close to, say, PJ Brown... Haslem boxes out, that's it. Not much defense, no blocking ability... he has a decent midrange shot and gets putbacks...

Chris Bosh right now is Juwan Howard 2.0.

wat

That comparison sounded a bit outrageous at first but then I also realized when we had Zo, we overpaid the fuck to get Juwan cause we figured a Zo+Juwan frontcourt would be unstoppable.

Then we somehow our front office got up our salary cap situation all fucked up and wrong and he went back to Washington instead. Thank god.

And some Chicago trade rumors from my Un-Trusty Twitter feed.

The CBA makes the JAX trade impossible without the Bulls trading Deng (And they wouldn't even trade him for Kobe!). The other deals could be done with Gibson and Brewer, but trading Gibson considering that Boozer and Noah can miss a combined 60 games a year seems like a bad idea.

I just joined a nba fantasy league through one of my buddies. I don't really follow the NBA. The only basketball I know is from NBA Jam from the 90s and nba 2k9/10/11.

The draft is tonight. How do I fantasy, GAF?

Pick Deron Williams and Paul Millsap, don't pick Al Jefferson, but try to trade for him in a month on the gamble that his fingers will be recovered by then and that leads to a higher shooting percentage and way more points.

People will be down on Yao Ming because he was injured last season. But he's back this season and a good source of points, rebounds, and blocks (not too bad with assists too). Get him early.

Good point.

Also, Tracy McGrady is out in Detroit now and let me tell you, he's back! Solid pick-up.

I fell asleep during the game.....

How in the fuck did the Cavs lose that game?!

hm

Mike Beasley couldn't be stopped. And Rambis actually went to him in crunch time. It was wild.
Did you watch the 4th quarter? Ridnour was hitting all kinds of shots. Beasley was 2nd fiddle.

ah, you're being sarcastic. Ok.

He was having a good 4th quarter until he missed a pull up jumper with like 18 seconds left on the clock, then 2 layups all in the final 3 minutes or so. Nearly blew it. Leave crunch time to the good players, Luke.

Brandon Roy is your man. Just signed a huge extension with the Blazers, he's their franchise player. Can't go wrong with BRoy.

Why you trying to play him like that? Yao Ming is basketball's biggest star, both on and off the court. Check the All Star ballots. His impending trade (see above) could send his value through the roof!

I never said Haslem was better than Bosh, I said that this year, in Miami's current system, Haslem does everything that Bosh is asked to do - better.

Things a PF needs to do in Miami:

1) Box out, get rebounds
2) Defend
3) Hit mid-range shots
4) Not keep the ball away from Lebron and Wade

Bosh is only reliable for one thing, #3. For Miami, Haslem was a better fit starting at PF by far.

Hey guys, I started playing StarCraft 2 multiplayer the past couple of weeks, and look who is in my 2v2 league. I'm sure it's really him. Why wouldn't he be playing SC2?

But you'd have to believe that Miami is only asking Bosh to rebound and be an enforcer. That's not the case.
lol what?

So after prepping Bosh all week long to have the offense run through him on every possession, Spo and the team thought it was cool for him to just get his ass busted on the defensive end of the court and go missing in the paint. Thats exactly it. Of course.

WTF are you talking about? They didn't get Bosh for more Defense.

Tell him he needs to Shape Up so he can walk back to the Craft he loves.

Man, I feel great.

Duh

But they did realize late that Bosh really isn't helping out with anything that that team actually needs.

Miami is fucking dumb as hell. Instead of slapping Bosh in the mouth whenever he misses a rebound, they let him shoot 3s on the final possession of the game - did they get Bosh for that?

this discussion is beyond stupid, and I don't even know what you're arguing any more. Essentially, everything you say boils down to the Heat suck. Which would be fine, except that all of your points are dumb as hell. You're better than this.

i haven't at all - and i also picked miami to win over LA yesteday too. I haven't gone full troll since the off-season. I'm telling you specifically why Wade and Bosh are worse off now but you read that as 'DY hatin'. I crowned them in off-season too - there's no bias. What does Bosh do better than Haslem that Miami actually needs? Not a goddamn thing.

You and your man haven't said anything as to why Bosh is better than Haslem in Miami's system so far other than he's better.... BECUZ. PEACE.

Happy to finally have a Jazz game in town again to go to. Also, I like seeing the Blazers in person and it'll be fun watching Matthews play in our arena again.

Bosh gives you better and more versatile scoring, more size, and he can give you significantly more minutes. Furthermore, if Lebron and Wade are on the bench, he can go and be option 1, which Haslem could never do. He did that last game. Essentially, hes basically a bigger, quicker Haslem on the defensive end, with way more weapons and skill on the offensive end.

Deron Williams gets the "NBA Cares" award for November 2010. That's right, Deron Williams cares more about the community than your favorite player.

He cares so much he risked fucking his ankle up by rock diving in the off season with the community.

And besides, did he unselfishly hold a special on ESPN from which proceeds went to help out the Boys and Girls Club of America?

Deron am fail total.
