I would've picked the Wizards if I'd known Flip wasn't coaching...
I would've too actually. Hard to stay in the loop here in Belize... even though it's raining out... I feel like you LA-GAFers complaining about fucking rain.

Picking every night doesn't have much appeal to me. Especially if I have to make some effort to do so. This is fun, easy, and for our own amusement.

It's not every night. Only Friday Saturday and Sunday games. You only need to pick 12 at the most.

Back of the Lakers warm up jacket my wife got me for Christmas, along with the cap a few posts back and a new #24 away jersey. I had been rocking a #8 home jersey for the last decade. : \

But it's still asking people to go offsite, make an account, and trusting that they'll keep up.

If people want to switch over to that, then that's fine. But I don't see it lasting because there's effort involved.

Grizzlies/Kings ending > .4

only because the Kings had no time outs left

technically that shot shouldn't count because it was an extra person on the court before the light went off. Grizzlies should protest cause they would win it.

Thanks, guys! Just remember to take into consideration that Mayo hit a jumper just inside the 3-point line to give Memphis a 1 point lead with 1.5 seconds left. The air was taken out of me and that entire building. Made the shot so much more fuck-awesome. :D

Also, Cousins with 21 pts and 16 rebs tonight. Took him 37 minutes to do it, and the 5 fouls, 3 turnovers and 0 blks are meh, but loved seeing his effort tonight.
I'd give up every week side block amare ever did, if he could've averaged 15boards. Hell, if he did that Lakers series probably does go to 7 games, and he'd still be in a suns uni.

I met Dikembe Mutombo today during halftime of the Hawks/Warriors game.

He was just passing through the club level and getting a pretzel before I realized it was him. Able to get a picture with him also.

Pretty cool experience.

God, the Clippers fans get the best half time shows. Asian ladies spinning bowls on their head while riding a unicycle, dogs doing trick frisbee catches on obstacle courses...

That lady is at the Lakers game too. I'm pretty sure it was at either the Game 1 or 2 of the 2008 WC Finals.

Tyreke Evans 50-foot Game Winning Buzzer Beater

Best video and sound quality I've yet to find, courtesy of Kings.com. :D

Shows key plays of the last 22 seconds except the part where Rudy Gay went for a shot with ~10 seconds left to go and it went off the rim and out of bounds.

That runner by Mayo was fucking ridiculous. I thought that had no chance of going in. I had already resorted to the "just our luck" notion in my head before Cousins inbounded it. :lol

Dang...

I started off the night good. I was one of the few who picked the Wiz to win. But my cHeat hate did me in and I didn't go with my gut with the Pistons.

Props to those who picked Philly beating the Suns. I didn't see that coming.

Just like giri said, no good could have come from Vince Carter's Suns debut. :lol

What I didn't expect though was for Evan Turner to have a career game against them. Who was guarding him?

Sixers beating the Suns wasn't that hard to predict because the Suns have looked like ass lately. Not that the Sixers have looked much better. I honestly thought Wince coming in might help the Suns though, which is why I said it might change things... don't know how that thought landed in my head.

I was right in thinking Scola and the Rockets frontcourt would play well, but I severely underestimated how bad Lee and Martin's defense would be :lol

Rockets played well though.

my 2k11 season simulation of tonight's game had the exact same score of the Grizz/Kings game except the Grizz won on a 3/4 shot by Gay. Wade also dropped 40+ in back to back games...which also happened in real life.... This game is so reaaaaaaaaaaaaal.

Just got home from the game/bar, what a great game. We lost but there were definite bright spots. Actually we were in it for most of the game, and often times looked like the better team. Some thoughts:

Rockets defense has gotten wayyy better. So many steals and very aggressive, physical defense. We were there to stop them and make sure they didn't get the easy basket.

They got the easy basket anyway a few times because Wade was going nuts. Lee/Battier played some good D on him but you can't really stop a man that was hitting everything he was shooting. You can't lock down all three at once, and Bosh was often the one left with the 20 footer.

The Heat have some real fuckin scrubs on their team. At one point the Rockets bench had outscored theirs 20-0. Everytime a scrub shot the ball it was either a three or a straight bad shot. Miller does not look the same, Chalmers had a few smh moments, Arroyo is ass, and the list goes on and on. Z looked good, Dampier was LOL-bad. If one of the big three is injured (Wade), I'm gonna say its over if they meet us again. The Rockets always had the Lebron team's number (though the Heat even when they were bad would blast us).

Kyle Lowry is becoming a good point guard. His three, which he has been hesitant to shoot, has been coming on in the last few games and it really showed tonight. His shooting was his main weakness compared to Brooks but now that he can shoot, I favor him over Brooks because of his passing ability and the way he read the floor. Great BBall IQ.

Finally, I'm pretty sure Stern called about half-way through the third quarter and told em to start giving out the star treatment. Wade and Lebron were getting some buullllshit calls. Flagrant on Brooks after 2 mins of watching Wade sit on the floor? WTF is that shit? Shoulda smacked his bitch ass harder. I was so heated.

Gonna get a cupcake, maybe it will soak up the beer.
