Who's getting the jersey treatment this year? Nash? Melo? Kobe?

Melo won't get it... He is leaving like Bosh. Basically saying he wants out waaaaay ahead of time. If Nash left and went to the Spurs he might get the treatment

Shaq is going to be a free agent again. Who knows where the big mercenary is going to end up. Has Tony Parker signed an extension yet?

No body cares at this point if Shaq leaves a team...

what are both of em saying here for real..?

I was laughing at Lebron at the end of the Heat game, his actions were so funny.

First he let Brooks blow right past him at the top of the key for an easy layup. "Meh, no point in Ding it up."

And then he inbounds the ball to Wade and starts lollygagging around waiting for Wade to get fouled. "Wades got it, we're good. I'll just dance to the half-court line now."

Just woke up and watched that Tyreke shot again. Can't get enough of it. :lol

I know it's early, but this is the highlight of the season for us. There still isn't anything like seeing it live, getting the air taken out of you along with the crowd from that O.J. Mayo runner after Kings were finally playing decently in the clutch, and then the impact of euphoria that hits you when Tyreke sinks that shot. I love this game.

Also, looks like Houston's going full fire sale.

Houston Shopping Virtually Everybody

ESPN.com's Chad Ford wrote in a chat on Wednesday that the Rockets are very active in trade talks.

According to Ford, Yao Ming isn't the only player Houston is making available in trade discussions.

"Rockets are very, very active right now. Virtually everyone on the team is for sale for the right price," Ford wrote.

"I've heard Yao, Kevin Martin, Luis Scola, Battier all mentioned. Rockets want/need a star right now and are willing to package players together to get it. Problem is their talent level is solid, but overpaid. Martin and Scola are good, but few teams want those contracts. Yao is solid as an expiring contract, but there are tons of those floating around. If you believe Yao will come back, could be some value there, but he's an unrestricted free agent this summer."

So is Morey panicking or just being a realist? Sounds like they desperately want a legitimate star, but giving up their depth isn't going to make them any better.

I'm hoping now that Okur is back, Sloan cuts back on Al's minutes. He was great last night, but really only has the stamina for one half and I'm even more worried about him having another major knee injury after KG got injured again last night.

Wasn't there some dumb shit earlier about them wanting a prospect, an expiring, and a pick for yao? LOL. The dude is completely done. Fuck yourself Houston.

Magic should see if they can pick up some of their bigs though. Miller, Hayes, etc would be solid pickups.

Dirk plays today: Dallas has a chance at winning

Dirk doesn't play today: Entertainment value from watching the rest of the Mavericks, Dirk's knee has more time to heal.

Either way it should be fun/funny.

Gortat calling out the Suns defense already lulz. Has he not watched this team over the last decade?

"I think we have to be at the gym every day for three hours and learn the rotations and everything from the beginning. There are so many things that we are doing bad. I just can't find the explanation. I'm trying to get some rebounds and stops but unfortunately there are not too many opportunities for me to rebound. Because the team is scoring 120-something points, there is not much to rebound. It's just frustrating, frustrating as hell. I'm not going to lie. Now is a reality check for me, being on a team that is winning and now being on a team that is losing and we're the worst defensive team in the league. We've got to come tomorrow as early as possible and put in work, three hours at least."

i have a hard time believing the Rockets will trade Scola. I can see everybody else on the block but not Scola.

His contract is well below market value. I don't see how moving him would do anything but hurt the Rockets.

Looks like Griffin may be getting into the big-boy ASG. I can't imagine him going down in the rankings at this point. Sucks for Love though.

I can't belive Nash and CP3 are beating Deron in votes. Oh wait, I can believe it because the NBA doesn't promote anybody from the Jazz ever.

The Raptors posted a Defensive Rating of 113.2 last season (dead last in the NBA, and near an NBA record bad).

The Phoenix Suns are posting a defensive rating of 114.1 so far this season.

Amazing.

Really? Never mind then. I doubt the coaches would be willing to vote in a rookie.
They've done it before. Don't see why they wouldn't again...
