Mad respect son...

Is there something physically wrong with Gasol that the Lakers have not reported?

He has been garbage during this losing streak, and not against quality opposition either.

Westbrook is a top 5 point guard.
i'm going to assume you give

d-will, cp3, rose, rondo in there.

So you're saying, westbrook is better than

nash, j-kidd, billups (probably), nelson, collison, Andre Miller, jennings, curry?

He might be stringing a few together, but some of those guys there bring a lot more to the table than westbrook.

Also, god damn, last i checked it was 3 hours ago, civ 5, man.

probably the fact he's averaging 40mpg

Yeah but he has been garbage on BOTH ends of the floor. Even with the heavy minutes I thought he could get by by just scoring and running the offense, but he hasn't been able to do shit with the ball.

Get well soon Bynum...

He's really come into his own this season, just like KD did last season.

Now the challenge is getting them both to play to their potential when they're on the floor together, and it's not like their games are incompatible by nature. KD will figure it out, he had a similarly mediocre November last year, and started his tear in December. Brooks needs to work on getting him more shots coming off screens; he's generally pretty bad in ISO because of his tendency to turn the ball over.

Now I'm just wondering how we'll incorporate Blake Griffin once he comes home to OKC in 2014.

I'M SO EXCITED. I'M SO SCARED.

Wow. NBA TV reported that this 4-game loosing streak for the Lakers is the first time a Phil Jackson championship team ever lost 4 straight.

Tim Duncan's been reduced to a role-player.

You can make a compelling case for Griffin being a top-5 PF, right now.

If Blake Griffin continues playing how he has been, he is the best PF in the NBA unless Pau can start averaging more points.

I'm glad to see they plan to show up for it.

Colin Cowherd is trashing Cleveland and reading emails making fun of Cleveland's high unemployment rate (ha ha so funny). How can someone so incredibly stupid be so smug and condescending?

Furthermore, why the fuck am I even listening to Colin Cowherd?

Yeah that unemployment joke was crass.

LET'S GOOOOOOOO

I expect some Varejao THUGGERY.
Are there any players that can really execute thuggery properly on LeBron? There aren't many guys with the physique for it. There's Dwight Howard, but he doesn't have the personality. Maybe Shaq?

Cowherd still thinks the Jazz aren't in playoff contention and that Joakim Noah sucks. There are tons people who have never watched basketball who have more informed opinions on it.

Where's Puddles?

Son, you made a damn FOOL of yourself, in the humans vs natue thread. :lol

Anderson knows a little BJJ though. He can sweep the leg.

Not a big deal (for now). Gimp Kobe and gimp Gasol means we are no better than the Spurs have been the last few years.

Team needs to get healthy fast before we dig ourselves into a big hole.

Let's not go crazy here. Dirk is still the best PF in the game. He has range Griffin could only dream of, and he's a better passer. And he wins. I wouldn't put Griff ahead of Pau at this point either.

Still though...he stays healthy, Blake's making an All-NBA team his rookie year.

^ :lol :lol :lol

Also, Blake Griffin is an offensive juggernaut. He could very well be the best offensive PF in the league very, very soon.

But if he wants to be in the conversation for BEST PF? Need to get those defensive fundamentals down first. Even then, his being undersized might reduce him to being just a good weak side/help defender at best.

Every since Cowherd decided to defend LeBron irregardless, he has turned into a major douche.

Such a fucking contradiction on a daily basis.

Dirk is not even remotely as good as Blake at rebounding, yet lately, Blake has been just as good as Dirk offensively. I can't think of one point in Dirks career where he ever had as many rebounds over a five game period has Blake has had in the past five. He may get his points differently, but he still gets them. Blake is also better defensively. In terms of passing, he isn't on Dirks level yet, but he has shown flashes of being really good one day (like the 7 assists he got against the Spurs). Who knows how many APG he could average if he was on a team as deep as the Mav's, or how few Dirk would if he was on a team like the Clippers.

That being said, no he isn't better than Pau or Dirk right now. He has a lot to prove and it's just the start of the season. Like I mentioned if he continues to play the way he is NOW (Which would be surprising.) he may very well end up being the best sooner than later. In the last five games, Blake Griffin is averaging 27-14-4 while shooting 60 percent from the field and averaging 1 BPG. He is a freak atm.

I wont be in panic mode until we're healthy and we're still somehow having the same issues.

Right now I'm in "Disappointed as fuck" mode.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/truehoop/miamiheat/news/story?id=5874552

CLEVELAND -- The Miami Heat experienced airplane troubles on their way to Cleveland for LeBron James' first game there since he left the Cavaliers.

Jackie Mayo, a spokeswoman for Cleveland Hopkins airport, says the crew of the Heat's plane reported a wing "flap issue" early Thursday as the aircraft was on its approach. An alert was issued at the airport and two fire trucks were sent out to the runway, which is standard procedure.

Damn I hope LeBron hides or runs fucking fast to the bus when he walks outside. Them SNIPERS gonna be on top of buildings.

You listen because he's smug and condescending. I'm guilty of it too. I have to admit sometimes I agree with his points, but the way he makes them is annoying.

I like how he tries to constantly trash John Wall, even though every guest he has on loves the kid. Cowherd has always been a douche, he just talks to get reaction.

what are the odds in vegas lebron will do that stupid hand powder show he does.
I think the odds were 1-50 last I checked. He'll do it.

He's fascinating to watch: he's shockingly unaware of the ramifications of his own actions, and feels like the franchise, league, and world should bow to him. Why would he change for tonight?

Some Nike marketing exec probably thought of the powder thing anyway.

I am hyped for tonight (thanks non-stop ESPN Lebron coverage for brainwashing me). We just better win, oh the shame if we lose this game.

They have been talking about this for days over here. Wade said if Lebron doesn't do it, he will. Everyone on the team wants him to do it. Our radio has been joking that the entire Heat team should do the powder.

I do hope the heat crush the cavs tonight. Not because I want to the Heat to win, but just so I can enjoy the sensation of thousands of Cleveland fan's hopes and dreams dying all over again. I love misery and disappointment, especially from a city as horrible as Cleveland.

The only time Cowherd is making sense and putting forward rational arguments is when hes defending Lebron

:lol :lol :lol

Portland has outscored opponents with Camby in the middle (+2.0 points per 100 possessions) and has been especially effective when Aldridge slides to center in smaller lineups (+5.1). With Marks and Oberto on the floor, the Blazers have been outscored by 38.0 points per 100 possessions, a preposterously bad figure that has been enough to undo the good work by Aldridge and Camby despite the limited minutes played by Marks and Oberto.
Please come back Joel please come back Joel please come back Joel

What hopes and dreams? They've got a team with Mo Williams as the number 1 option. Cavs fans should be hoping for a loss as it brings them closer to the lottery. The misery and disappointment of the Miami Heat so far is more worthy of the lulz.

Followed by some racist rant on the Middle East that completely divulged from his original point :lol . If the Jazz win the title this year, do they have six hall of famers or nine going by Cowherd logic?
