Poor Clips, they have been in a lot of close games, but they never come out the winner.
As badly as I wanted them to win, it's so hard to feel bad for them when they give up that many turnovers in such dumb ways.

You can't come out as a winner with Baron Davis on the team. Jackass should have passed it to Eric Gordon.

Vinny:
"That wasn't the play....that's one of Baron's favorite shots....but that wasn't the shot we were looking for"

Ray Allen was more consistent and hit some big shots to keep them in it.

Agreed. Thought Ray Allen deserved it more based on play, but it's understandable that Pierce got it since he stuck with the team for years and represented their franchise and was seen as the leader of that team through the media.

Question: Is what the Heat currently succeeding on a variation of Nellie ball? Slap at the ball defense and whoever grabs the rebound starts the break? It reminds me of Nellie ball with a lack of 3 pt shooters.

Dallas jumping around like they're kings. Well, I guess they are...of the season. Still don't like them in the playoffs. Looks like last night's game took the Jazz legs away.

Bill Russell celtics aka Nellie ball isn't what they are running. They don't have the bigs for it. Nellie likes ball is dependent on the rebounders being able to pass. SO in order for Nellie ball to work the bigs have to be able to pass.

True, but do their bigs do the rebounding or is it Wade and Lebron?

Looking at the stats it looks like JAX shot 50%... so that's one checked off! And Boston made only 8 threes! That's two!

Well, here's my list for tonight's game:

  • Lose by 15 or less
  • Commit 20 turnovers or less
  • Hold either Wade or LeBron to under 20 points
  • Hold the Heat to under 50% from the field and 3pt line
  • Play Carl Landry for no more than 10 minutes
  • DeMarcus Cousins picks up no more than 3 fouls (that, or tries to take less than 3 charges)
  • Tyreke takes no more than 5 isolation off-the-dribble jumpers
  • Kings shoot +40% from the field or 3pt range (preferably both)

Shooting for the stars, baby! :D
