Who is arguing? I am just saying that a team that shoots a high percentage from the line would like to get there as much as possible.

edit: We are a team of KDs trying to create contact pretty much at all times and we are good at it. I see the annoyance.

Thunder missed lots of open uncontested shots in the first half and shot 27% like me in 2K. :lol Well actually better than me for the first couple of games.
It's stupid play and shouldn't be rewarded, it puts fouls on other starters who are trying to, you know, score, not just draw fouls. Meaning they're off the court. And your team shouldn't be trying to get to the FT line, they should be trying to score. Thats a disgusting offensive stratergy and to commend it is baffling in absurdity.

well he did cry when the Rockets didn't pick him (as promised)

I have mixed feelings of this.. when say a player falls for an upfake and leaves his feet it is a smart play to jump into him (GP was the master of this in his prime when he was respected from anywhere in the floor) but going to the lane flopping like an extra from Dead Rising isn't a smart or good play...

Concur. I know kobe gets tons of ft's by faking other players into leaving their feet. NP's with that, you got beat, his shot fake won outl.

The driving for a foul stuff has to stop though. It really does make it a lesser product. (For the record, i've been saying this all season, not just after tonight).

Just saw the interview of Gilbert Arenas that Crimson Blur posted a couple pages back.

Not only does he seem genuinely happy, but he has no problem coming off the bench. He also looks forward to being on a relevant team again.

If you think about it, his personal issues didn't really become a major distraction until the Wizards became a seller dweller. When the Wiz were up and coming several years ago, Arenas was much more balanced. But with the injuries and the team sucking recently, I think he's had too much idle time.

Plus it really was stupid to hand the team over to a rookie. That's Flip for you... They should have picked one of the veteran players. As it is, John Wall has barely played half the season.

Loaded schedule today.

Magic against the Hawks with JJ back....and new members of ORL (Not sure if the new guys will be playing actually, anybody know?)

Miami against Dallas
obviously.....or Dallas against the refs.....however u see it.

Bobcats against the Rashard Wizards.....teh lulz

Suns vs Spurs, which is always entertaining.....Will Dragic torch them again? another last minute Gino game winner? a blow out? Tune in.

Wolves vs Clippers.....Griffin vs Love.....nuff said.

And some other possible close ones like NO vs IND and POR vs MIL sprinkled in.

Wolves @ Clippers game of the night.

Also John Wall out for an undetermined amount of time with a bone bruise FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

P.S. Crush the Bucks Portland.

This is how you act after a solid road win?

Just enjoy it. Suns will be looking good after Wince, Gortat and Pietrus arrive. They weren't looking good for the playoffs before, now they should definitely be in.

There are only like 5 teams in the West that are "definitely in" and the Suns aren't one. Richardson was a good player for them, i don't see Carter being a huge upgrade. Gortat SHOULD help, but sometimes he looks pretty bad too.

You're probably right, but Nash has done more with less than Vince, Gortat, and Pietrus.

As long as Nash is healthy I think they'll be pretty solid.

I don't think winning or losing has anything to do with it, it's horrible to watch and somehow makes the Thunder even less watchable than the Heat when the Heat have five minutes left in a game/when LeBron's out of the game in the 2nd and 4th.

So, after all the despicableness from all three this week, is it time for a new poll on who is the least watchable player in the NBA: James Harden, Russell Westbrook, or Dwayne Wade?

Is the Wiz medical staff starting to become the worst in the league now? Bone bruise misdiagnosed as tendinitis? Then you had the the Arenas injury situation...which I feel was mishandled to the point of which the dude missed a year more than he should have. Can't forget Caron Butlers yearly two week vacations over hamstrings or whatever else...smh.

"It's pretty tough," Wall said. "I've probably missed five, six games out of my whole life playing basketball. This is the most I've missed. So it's frustrating, trying to rehab, and seeing my team out there and can't be out there and can't make plays. I think my team is doing a great job of fighting and doing as much as they can. I just can't wait to get back out there with them."

No indications whatsoever that Wall has any Oden like bone structural flaws. He's barely missed games in his life...it's just an unfortunate situation right now. Griffin had much worse happen to him that seemed like a greater indication of structural flaws and he's tearing shit up right now. We'll see.

Oden had numerous knee problems even in high school. He was considered a fairly high injury risk when he was drafted.

It could be the night the team quits on Rambis. I'm excited.

If Minnesota loses Monday, Rambis will match Jimmy Rodgers as the least successful Wolves coach ever. At 21-89 (.191) since the start of 2009-10, he has a 1/1000th edge in winning percentage over Rodgers, whose teams went 21-90 (.190) in 1991-92 and part of 1992-93.
Ballin.

You obviously didn't watch the Phoenix game. If OKC had been knocking down its open shots (which they tend to do) they would have won this game going away, even if their defense made Grant Hill look like he was in his prime.

They don't win games on the offensive end anyways: they win when they clamp down on defense, which they completely failed to do last night. But of course, I assume you'd know that since you're such an expert on the Thunder.

Every good team in the league has to grind out ugly wins, and every good team has its share of blowouts where the star players sit for most of the fourth. Very few games come down to teams trading shots down the stretch with a star making a dagger play to close it out, although those are the games we all tend to remember.

He and president of basketball operations David Kahn have been determined to rebuild, remaking the roster and assembling now what most observers consider to be more talent — Kevin Love, Michael Beasley, Wesley Johnson, even Darko Milicic — than in recent seasons.
So the Wolves are more talented, yet losing at the same clip. I wonder who Aschburner talked to to get that story? (hint: it was David Kahn) This is the kind of talk you see when a guy's about to get fired.

How the fuck does a training staff mistake a bone bruise with tendinitis? :lol

Oden was injured his entire life. He was always nicked up in high school and he played nearly his entire college season with a broken wrist amongst other injuries.

The thought was that if he got an NBA training staff, everything would work itself out...

They'd never fire Kahn though. Who else would step into that mess?

Tony Ronzone, assistant GM and the guy responsible for a large amount of the basketball decisions since the Wolves hired him back in May?

"Spoelstra leaves door open for Mike Miller return tonight vs. Mavericks, but it will be Pat Riley who decides whether to unlock that door."

Hmm, that would be interesting. I'm not entirely sure I would want him to come back tonight since he may be a bit rusty.

Really looking forward to the Mavs tonight; my expectations are low, but I do think that the game will be a lot closer than our previous meeting. Winning would also be awesome, but I fear for Branduil's safety and wellbeing if that happens.
