Bogut. Jennings is a flat out chucker. Bogut's defense is a game changer.

How do the Bucks look bad without Jennings? They just beat the Lakers without him.
First off, Lakers are the new Knicks.

Jennings is only a chucker when that team's already weak offense tends to lag... Besides, how good was that team before he got there?

Bogut is good and all, but I'd love to see him play well for an entire season at least.

I think you need to go back to grade school.

So we agree that you acted like petulant child when you signed your friend agents over the summer?

"I'll show you guys! When we win the championship, I'M RUBBING IT IN EVERYBODY'S FACE!!! AAAAARRRRGHHHH!!!"

One game.. But after long periods they don't look good. Both players are important to that team, and of course big men come less often than PGs.. So if I HAD to trade one it would be Jennings, but I think Jennings is the better player. However, if someone like you disagree I don't think feel so strongly about it to call you crazy..

mama is just mad because he knows all of bandwagon-age is gonna be hype after LA gets a boot up its ass for christmas

I knew you had my back.. We have the Paul Silas Seattle Supersonic ring bearer bond now

I love your insecurity so much.

Keep it going.

Totally.

Bandwagon-Age was hyped last Christmas after LA got a boot up it's ass too.

And then June came along.

Well Jennings is a chucker, but like I've said before, he only chucks at times when the other players are failing him. Unfortunately that happens quite a bit. Usually he tries to play within the offense.

So I agree with nasty, but I still think he underrates Bogut.

You are such an easy target.

You and peterb0y seem to have similar triggers.

Heat-Age hivemind confirmed?

EDIT: BTW, totally secure people make unprovoked posts about "rubbing things in others faces."

Jennings might even be more important to that team, they lack decent scoring. IMO just about any current .500+ team would be better off adding Bogut than they would Jennings. However my judgement might be clouded for the speculation of how damn good the Jazz would be if they had Bogut.

I hate saying that about a player that went to Utah.. ugh.

For the record, I do like Bogut - but I'd like it if he showed some real consistency. I know last year was a fluke injury...

You know what? This is where you and I differ.

I love rubbing shit in people's faces. Deal with it.
If you have given me shit and I have a good reason to continue sticking crow down your throat till I'm satisfied, I love it. And clearly you can't handle it so I'm doing well here.

That's the point, man.

1) you are making threats for future shit rubbing. Your team still has to win a championship first.

2) everyone here talks shit on other teams all the time (most of the fun of this thread) but no one that I know of really takes it as seriously as you do.

3) based on how serious you seem to be about this it seems like your team actually winning the chip would take a backseat in your mind to being able to "rub it in the face" of faceless people on a messageboards.

4) For the record, I haven't given you shit for the Heat during their down years because, honestly, they weren't on my radar. For those that did give you shit though, it's part of the culture on this thread--all the teams taking their lumps get it. ALL TEAMS, including the Lakers.

We all "Deal With It."

Why can't you without taking this shit said on here so personal and serious?

Bogut NET PER: +14.7
Jennings NET PER: -.1

Bogut NET +/-: +9.6
Jennings NET +/-: -3

Super advanced stats don't lie. And you know these super advanced stats don't lie because they hate Drew Gooden and think he's one of the worst players in the NBA!

Normally I would respond to this with a biting comeback but piling on the wins vs. Peterb0y isn't helping me in the NBA-GAF Power Rankings.

:(

I'll take that as a moral victory

Oh bitch please do not sit here and try to single me the fuck out, I am not even going to bother refuting this non-sense :lol :lol :lol

In other news, 2k people, I've started creating my own arena and in-game playlists. It's actually made it better...how would you feel about starting each game with NBA on NBC or TNT playing? :D

@TommyBeer: Answer: Other than Amar’e, the only other Knick since Pat Ewing to score 20+ points in 11 straight games was… Eddy Curry. ...
Well, that settles it.

Sorry if old but seems that the smiley coach has a new job at BSPN

Mike Brown joins ESPN as analyst

Associated Press

CLEVELAND -- Former Cleveland Cavaliers coach Mike Brown has been hired by ESPN as an analyst.

Brown, who was fired in June after the Cavs lost to Boston in the Eastern Conference semifinals, will begin his TV stint on Christmas Day for the New York-Chicago telecast on ESPN 3D, the network said Thursday. Brown will also contribute as an ESPN studio analyst throughout the season.

Brown was the most successful coach in Cavs history. He went 314-177 in five seasons and was the league's coach of the year in 2009. But Cleveland's failure to win a title despite having the league's best record and LeBron James the past two seasons led to Brown's dismissal.

Brown would like to return to coaching one day. He helped coach one of his son's football teams this fall and has been enjoying more time with his family since being fired.

Gotta love how BSPN throws in a zinger at Brown even while introducing him on their website as an analyst while failing to place blame on LeFraud.

the only peers he's shitting on is the ones who suck at basketball and don't belong in the league. i'd say he's more shitting on small market teams rather than his peers

can you imagine if the cavs were contracted after he said all that shit? :lol

Leave it to LeFrauds #1 fan base to ignore what a dick move his statement was.

Assuming Wade players, who guards Kobe? Wade hasn't been to successful against him in the past (Not that LeBron's been much better) and he's also banged up. It would make sense to stick Wade on a offensive liability like Artest

ps: What's all this Bron vs. Kobe stuff on their page? I was one of the people saying early on that the Heat would definitely become Bron's team cos he's just the better player. We are being proved correct...

***Breaking News***

LeBron James and Dwayne Wade scuffle at practice. Dwayne Wade shoved LeBron James causing him to tear his MCL & ACL. He also tore his Achilles tendon, dislocated his shoulder, and fracture his pelvic bone. He'll be out for the next 16-24 months. Wade says he will make sure the Heat don't lose a step.

Surely it wasn't a dick move. I mean according to Pheeniks, he was just calling out small market teams and bad players. I mean what can POSSIBLY be wrong with one of the top players in the NBA calling for small markets to lose their teams and bad players to lose their jobs. Hmm....

Mike Miller, obv.

Seriously, neither of them will cover him until maybe the 4th, and then it'll probably be Wade.

They'll rotate Chalmers, Jones, and House on him.

Charles Oakley interview: http://www.fan590.com/media.jsp?content=20101223_205722_10728

Charlotte's coaching staff can kick any other coaching staff's ass.

Can't wait til we play the Raptors again. Oak is gonna get up and slap Triano in the mouth twice before the half.

Typical ignorant Americans. It's a well-known fact Charles Oakley was Prime Minister of Canada from 1998-2001. The ACC is to Oak what a Church is to Highlander.

I've criticized him many times in the past and I didn't ignore any statements he made I was pointing out something you guys were missing. Get over yourself :lol

As a sports fan, LeBron James is an unabashed front runner. Though he's from Ohio, a state with two baseball teams steeped in tradition and history (not all of it good), he roots for the New York Yankees. In football, he is a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Seriously, I used to knock kids like this to the ground during recess. Leaving aside the fact that James is not old enough to remember professional basketball in the 1980s, the history he's picked up during his 26 years is almost certainly informed by this demonstrated tendency to jump on a bandwagon. So he probably knows about the Celtics and Lakers, maybe the Sixers, and doesn't recall how the league had to step in to save his former franchise--the Cavaliers--from mad man owner Ted Septien. Or how the Utah Jazz explored a merger with the Denver Nuggets. I'd wager that there are few people on Earth that love the 1980s era NBA more than I, but the idea that the league needs to revert back to that decade is ridiculous.

Seriously, fuck LeBron.

CNN said:
He earns millions of dollars every year, but basketball star LeBron James wants investors to splash out up to $500,000 each to sponsor his lavish 26th birthday celebrations.

The Miami Heat player has hired a marketing firm to find backers willing to help fund his December 30 party, dubbed the "Full Court Birthday Celebration."

James, who earned a reported $14.5 million in salary this year, enlisted SA Global Plus -- whose website shows slides from a presentation given to potential investors.

The sponsorship opportunities range from $10,000 for a single event on his 11-stop "LeBron James Dinner Party Tour" to $500,000 for a season package.

The thing that Lebron doesn't get (and I'm not surprised, I'm a few years older than he is and I didn't start watching basketball until 90-91) is that these teams had multiple HoFers because they won, not because they signed three top 15 talents. Guys like Michael Cooper, Robert Parish, I'd go so far as to say James Worthy and Kevin McHale, were not "Chris Bosh in is athletic prime" good.

Lebron's favorite team growing up had Jordan, Pippen, one time All-stars Grant and Armstrong, and a revolving door of roleplayers and "pretty good" players. There were some absurdly stacked teams in the 90s and 00s that never even made it to the Finals; but no one goes out of their way to deify the #4 option on a team that can't get it done. Talent alone has never been enough to win rings. But if Lebron has to learn that the hard way this year, so be it.

Just hope he realizes that the Nets have been to the Finals THIS DECADE more than he has, and we actually managed to win a few games the second time around with only one HoF player. And I'm sure if Kidd had young Tmac and J O'neal as teammates, he wouldn't have whined about his role players not being "Devin Harris and Brook Lopez" good.
