It's got nothing to do with psychic powers, bro. I've watched enough basketball to know players don't magically start playing the same way they did before they got hurt. It just doesn't happen. You can't expect a player to miss this many games after such a serious injury and start producing at high levels during the most difficult time of the season. It's completely unrealistic.

Can't believe I'm trying to reason with a Heat fan.......

Ner, it worked on Pheenicks, because he was so desperate for wade to stay and got antsy about it. I'm ok if Nash goes, because he deserves a better chance to end a winner than this team will give him. I'd rather he didn't, and we became instant contenders by getting melo for childres, pietrus ,picks & vinces expiring, but it isn't happening.

The D wasn't terrible last year, but the starting lineup has been a revolving door this year, no one knows their role at all.

“It’s just a little bit frustrating when you come in here to the locker room and people are talking about the offense, you guys are talking about the offense. That’s not the way you’re going to win NBA games. I don’t know if it’s just me or maybe I’m just different but I came from a team where everybody’s competing, trying, do the stuff that Coach is saying. We just totally changing our rotations, changing the stuff we set before the game. We’re not playing hard enough, and there’s a lot of, lot of work in front of us. The positive thing about it is it can’t get worse.”

“There are so many things that we’re doing bad, and I just can’t find an explanation. A lot of people are trying to get some rebounds and such, but unfortunately there aren’t too many opportunities for me to rebound because if the team is scoring 100 something points there’s not much to rebound. It’s just frustrating as hell. I’m not going to lie. Now it’s kind of like a reality check for me being from a team that’s winning to a team that’s losing, I mean we are the worst defensive team in the league. We’ve just got to come tomorrow as early as possible and work three hours at least.”

“I think we’ve just got to be more serious about everything that we do. We’ve got to be more serious, we’ve got a lot of young guys on the team, a lot of potential, but a lot of young guys who don’t know what it’s like to be on top and at a high level. It’s not just the focus of the game, it’s the focus at the practice. You can’t have people coming in and doing different things. You’ve got to read the scouting report, you’ve got to read which guys likes to do what, and we’ve just got to learn. There’s a lot of work, a lot of work. If Philly’s scoring 120 points I don’t want to see teams like Boston, Orlando, San Antonio, Miami or the other teams. It’s going to be bad.”

“Today we didn’t even try to defend. We were not able to defend anybody.”

“It’s just different mentality. You’ve got a lot of veterans in Orlando and you’ve got different mentalities, coaching mentality, everything’s different.”

It's like the Patriots. You can't get any reliable injury info for them. They list like half their roster as questionable just to screw over other teams who are trying to game plan.

New Englanders are unreliable, confirmed.

You have to focus on Ray Allen. He's the only guy there worth liking. Just like him a lot and feel good about him, not the Celtics or anybody else on that roster.

Yea man, just feels dirty. I rooted for them last year vs the apparently worst team in the league and LeBron and fear I will have to do the same this year.

I like Nate too, but not as a person, as a personality. He's so over the top and ridiculous, and when things are going right, he celebrates more than anyone else on the court.

The way I see it, the more wins they get due to this type of crap the more they'll start to believe they're better than they actually are.

I wont bat an eye if someone like OKC or Utah takes them out in the second round.

If the lakers keep playing like they have most of dec, i wouldn't be surprised if Utah knocks them out either.
 
Is Ray Allen the only "All Time Great, I would Trust My Life With His Shot" guy in the NBA right now? I can't think of anyone else who I would put in that situation.

Crimson is a funny man.

This is the same guy who was talking about how it was going to be fun going through a rebuilding process and looking out for first round prospects, right after he just got humiliated in the playoffs. (Yeah, I still remember that shit dude)

... and now he's shouting about how scared everyone is of the big bad Spurs. Essentially the exact same team that got handled, only now they're a year older. Hilarious.

One of my best friends growing up's brother got shot while fucking around with guns. Now he talks all fucked up and shit and can't breathe right. Shit like that does happen. Not that I know his story is true. The kid had a good family and I don't see him for a few years and he gets shot, was selling coke and saw him because he wanted to buy like 20 pounds of weed from my buddy. He was all tatted up with money over bitches on both his arms in big block letters. I don't know how the fuck that shit goes down. Everyone else in the family is straight as a whistle. There is my random story for the day :lol
